Amazing, we have never ever had a poor meal here, the food, service and surrounding are all equally wonderful.

If you like Greek food, this place will not disappoint. We had the dip trio as an appetizer, the chicken souvlaki and the whole Grilled Seabass.

Fantastic service and superb food, would highly recommend to anyone. We came in a large group and everything came out quickly and everything was delicious, will be returning.

Staff is always friendly and attentive. Bartender is also nice! We requested for simple steamed rice that was not on their menu to have the grilled meat with and they got it done for us. Also requested for iced americano and they gladly obliged. Love the food. Excellent dessert options.!

Friday evening, table booked for 6pm. Place deserted! Not a worry as service was excellent. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Food excellent. Shall certainly be going back!

We phoned to see if tables were available today, being fathers day, and England playing today, and we were welcomed no problem. The staff greeted us very friendly and was very attentive throughout our meal. We had the bruschetta and octopus salad to start, oh wow both fantastic. My husband had the lamb chops and he received 5 chops 😲 I had the moussaka which was amazing. Portions are very good taste is amazing. This place is a little gem find and will definitely be coming back and recommending to all our friends. Beautiful setting. Good honest Greek food! Quintessential 'UK Greek' restaurant! Modern taverna, with all the necessary wall murals, pleasant service, typical menu with not too many variations on the standard tried & tested dishes that most of us are familiar with, significant portions at a reasonable rates. Oh yes, drinkable wine!! I would have preferred rice, but it won't be Greek if it didn't have chips! Nothing extraordinary but very enjoyable and good value.

Stopped in spur of the moment for date night as I fancied greek, had room to seat us even though it was a Saturday night and they were busy. Amazing atmosphere, all the staff were so friendly. Food was great and just kept asking for more mythos. Didn't actually want to leave even the staff asked what the rush was.

Have driven past this restaurant countless times over the years, finally decided to try it. The food was excellent and the service was faultless just the right amount of attention without too much interference We will definitely be returning and will be recommending to all our friends.

Pasta was overcooked and unadventurous. There were some great parts but nothing amazing. We had the seafood and sea bass. Potato was boiled then somehow chard. Staff was nice and friendly.

When I first heard of Sousta, I did not expect to be this blown away by the quality of food. An absolutely incredible meat meze! Plenty of food and great for sharing with guests. I also called up and asked about the cheese board. They didn’t have it on the menu but just for me they prepared one for me. Top quality food and customer service! The best restaurant in Bristol.

My favourite place to eat! The food is near perfect and recommend their Meze’s! It can be quiet at times but I don’t mind that. The portion size is brilliant and great selection of food and drinks. I’ll return again and again!

Ο,τι πιο κοντινο στις γευσεις της Ελλαδας που εχω βρει στο Μπριστολ. Καθαρα ελληνικες συνταγες,καθολου πειραγμενες με ξενα μπαχαρικα. Δε χορταιναμε τυροκαυτερη και πιτες, οι γαριδες σαγανακι πεντανοστιμες,τα κυριως πιατα χορταστικα (συνοδευονταν με ρυζι τα κρεατα και σαλατα τα μαγειρευτα). Θα μπορουσαν να εχουν πιο "ελληνικες" μεριδες στα ορεκτικα π.χ κεφτεδακια και ντολμαδακια αντι για 3 κομματια.Νομιζω ειναι το μονο αρνητικο που βρηκαμε. Τα γλυκα μας ενθουσιασαν (το cheescake θα μπορουσαμε να το ειχαμε παραλειψει) και το σπιτικο λευκο κρασι γευστικο κι ευκολοπιωτο.

The food was amazing I have now been back for a second time and will definitely be back soon. I'm looking forward to working through everything on the menu.

I visited with my sister and brother-in-law on a Thursday lunchtime; to celebrate their wedding anniversary. All I can say is we must have visited at the wrong time. There was nobody else dining in the restaurant. Hence the 'no atmosphere'; nobody's fault really and the restaurant was cold. We would have liked the antipasti to share; however this was not available. Starter dishes chosen: stuffed pepper - acceptable; garlic mushrooms - good; aubergine - not reheated properly and cold in places. This caused stomach upset. Mains chosen: shared meat feast - all reheated, not cooked fresh. Very poor. Chicken skewer - not acceptable. Chips good but too salty. All poorly presented and not worth the prices charged. All overpriced. We appreciate that restaurants do not cook all their dishes fresh. However meat dishes that are just grilled should be fresh. We paid and left without causing a fuss. Food would have been good if all served hot and fresh and decently presented. The waiter was pleasant enough. One good thing was, that because it was quiet, we were able to park outside the entrance, as it was raining. Suffice it to say, we will not be returning.

We were staying around the corner and were meeting up with family. Chose this restaurant solely from the reviews. We were not disappointed, first up the staff are friendly and very helpful, great choices on the menu and comfortable seating. Take the time to read before ordering as there are some great selections.The food was great and full of flavour. Relaxed atmosphere so good for small groups catching up.

We saw all the good reviews on google and we can say the 4.9 is well deserved. At first we were a bit skeptical about the location because it’s not in the city center where most restaurants are located. Luckily we made the decision to try it and we had very delicious food. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. If you’re in Bristol and looking for something to eat you should go here.

We visited for a Graduation meal as a party of 8, having previously eaten here as a couple and loved it. The food is delicious, food portions are generous and the service is perfect. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. We have absolutely no hesitation in highly recommending this restaurant.

Just had an amazing experience here for a friend's birthday. We had a large booking of around 15 people, which both front and back of house managed very well, bring starters and mains out at the same time. There was live music, extremely attentive waiters, and a great atmosphere overall. Will definitely go back.

Exellent time spent in sousta, the cuisine is really delicious and the menu is interesting, whether it's the mezes, the dishes in sauce or the grilled meats, everything is good and the staff is attentive and friendly it's an address that I heartily recommend!

This is an honest review… Very very disappointing… Chicken skewer came tasteless dry & burnt. 1 Chicken skewer 1 small fries 1 very small Side salad 1 side bread & dip £19.99! Waitress had an answer for everything instead of being understanding. My food was sent back and I asked for some chips and bread because I was hungry, they charged. £4.35 for chips. £2.50 for bread. £5.00 for bottle of water. Do yourself a favour and dine elsewhere people of the Med would be offended knowing this food is being served in their name. To be clear this is not just about poor food or value for money it’s about poor service also. I’m fortunate to be a company director and financially stable, one poor meal won’t affect me in the slightest but I really wouldn’t want someone spending their hard earned £££ here. STAY AWAY. Beirut Mezze serves similar cuisine, it’s not far much better with a lower cost. Staff are also very welcoming and polite. Finally I’ll add the male waiter was polite not like the female Eastern European waitress who spoke over my food pointed her fingers very close to my food. Worst of all she smelled, management should address this! My partner even noticed and also told me that you could see that she’s applying makeup on top of makeup. The only other table in the restaurant at the time also sent at least one dish back! They did refund the dish sent back.
