Wow where to start, my experience of source cafe on priory road was more broken promises than the last 14 years of a Tory government. Strange vibe, strange people, guard their provisions with an intensity that is unmatched and as a result I advise that you guard your own hope and dream. Stay safe out there, avoid Source Cafe

Good coffee, don't be put off by the bad reviews. Great that there is space for tables without laptops.

As a student of foreign language I had great understanding of from the staff, they help me much to get water as myself do not have bottle, the 10 pences cost of the cup is very not expensive. Thank you many.

The only option they have for water comes in a 500ml recycled aluminium bottle that costs £2.75. Such a rip off for students. I don’t even want aluminum in my deodorant let alone ingesting it in my water. All the source cafes have ridiculous and overpriced ‘sustainable’ products. It’s just a marketing ploy so they can rip people off. And they get away with it because they are the only place you can get lunch and drinks close to most of the university buildings.

This review concerns the Beacon House branch of Source Cafe. Be careful when entering this cafe, and don't even think about opening your laptop because there's a no laptop policy! (Apparently). Me and my friend were told we were 'kicked out' by a staff member who 'didn't want to be that guy'. Not only was this incredibly rude, but the worst part was there was many other students using their laptops and phones!!! This left me confused as to why me and my friend were singled out. I think in future maybe more signage concerning the no laptop 'rule', which is a stupid rule to have in a university campus, is needed.

Awful, just been in. No bottled water, said it was because they don't use plastics anymore. Sandwiches wrapped in, yup you guessed it! Offered me a cup for 10p (plastic lined). Forget it, won't be back.

appalling service no matter which one you go to, always unfriendly staff. Horrible food and so overpriced. University of Bristol, do better.

A glorified canteen selling overpriced, pretentious food that's way out of reach of what most students can afford. Despite spending way too much on a sandwich and a cup of coffee, a condescending worker demanded that I leave when I took a Fibre One bar out of my pocket. Won't be ordering from there again.

Great location right inside the University building. They offer variety of hot, cold, soft drinks and quick bites, such as sandwiches, wraps, muffins, pies. Always crowded so be ready to queue for at least 5-7 minutes. Both cashier ladies are friendly and serve quick. You can enjoy a takeaway or sit at the table close by. Note, to enter the building you need to have a student ID.
