dario is the most attentive server for our bottomless brunch. absolutely incredible food. left stuffed after 2 courses. the cocktail upgrade is worth every penny. went on a friday so it wasn’t as vibey but can imagine on a weekend it goes off

My friend had a voucher for a 3-course Afternoon Tea with bottomless prosecco, and it was such a great afternoon. The food options are unique, the portions are generous, and the team is lovely. Special mention to Darius, who kept our Prosecco glasses topped up! The venue is within a beautiful hotel, around the corner from Marble Arch tube station. The hotel lobby is lovely, complete with a London cab as the centrepiece. The Sound Cafe used to be the Hard Rock Cafe, but the vibe of a rock cafe is very much present—great music, quirky decor, and lovely surroundings. I'd recommend a visit!

Food and atmosphere really good, live musician was amazing. Service could’ve been better, cute little robot brought our food, the waiter unfortunately not so good.

Normally not one to try a restaurant hotel but this place looked like it had great vibes and we were looking for a place with live music. The food here was actually really good! Most of the group got the striploin steak but a couple of us got the London double decker burger which is one of the restaurant's most popular menus. The burger was awesome and very filling. Service was adequate, our server was quite curt but was efficient overall. I feel for the service staff as I think they were dealing with a particularly rude table of customers that were displaying a lot of anti social behaviour. I can understand that might result in a little less enthusiasm. Atmosphere was great. Unfortunately the live band was late to get started so we only caught a bit of their performance, but it was a great venue. Overall a great place if you're around the Marble Arch area!

Lovely place for one visit, the food was edible though the burger was very dry. And the pudding was overcooked.Service was impeccable the staff were very attentive and always made sure there was not an empty glass.

We had an amazing time! We were served by the fantastic Dario! He was nice and so kind and took time to go through the menu with us and help us with allergies. He made us feel like royals. So thank you so much Dario you’re an absolute hero. We will be back! Thank you for everything!!!

Fantastic 18th birthday at Sound. Grace went above and beyond to make sure we had the most fantastic time. Excellent food and fantastic atmosphere. Staff were extremely attentive during our bottomless brunch. Very grateful for such an incredible experience!

Treated ourselves to a first ever bottomless brunch which we enjoyed with friendly, efficient service and a relaxed atmosphere involving retro music videos and a cute robot server that occasionally crashes! My vegan Mexican wrap and chips was fine, slightly messy to eat with your hands, and there was also vegan and gluten free options for dessert (Brownie or ice cream). Local Camden Brewery beer was available and I could only fit in 3 but this was more than satisfying (Prosecco, wine, soft drinks also available).

Best place to eat microwaved Tesco sandwiches for 50 pounds per person. We ordered the afternoon tea and they actually only have two very basic tea types , savouries were stale and tasteless and sweets were store bought and low quality. Nice decoration and atmosphere but food was a huge disappointment..

The last time I reviewed this restaurant 2 years ago, it was as the Hard Rock Cafe. Now under new management, Sound Cafe retains all that was good before. Value for money bottomless brunch, music and great service. We will continue to come back

Back to the Future afternoon tea as a birthday treat. Incredible alternative afternoon tea. Really big portions, nicely themed touches. Favourite thing was the apple cobbler. Highly recommend it!

Food was okay but the vibe was good

I recently attended a bottomless brunch here with a friend. It was so lovely the service and food was on pint, couldn't fault it at all. Our waiter was Dario and he was lovely. Would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for bottomless brunches in Central. I will definitely going back!!!! =)

The service from the staff was brilliant and we had an amazing visit. It's such a warm and welcoming atmosphere here, but also really relaxed and a bit of an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street. The staff were so kind to us as when we mentioned that we were on our Honeymoon and they surprised us with a special dessert! Thank you Cumberland Hotel and Sound Café staff for making it so memorable!

Bad treatment as soon as the reservation was shown. The service was extremely poor. A female person who was extremely snooty and unfriendly served us. Here the minimum of what is necessary is done. No smile, no asking if it was good... tipped us 8 pounds, despite everything, no thank you or smile from the waitress. Rarely have I been treated so badly and arrogantly. It certainly won't happen to us again as we won't be eating in this restaurant again. The guest does not feel welcome or valued in any way. It's a shame, it's become very negative.

Nice enough, but the only place where I've ever been charged a service charge (13.5%) for buying a drink at the bar - and very hidden. Over £8 a pint, which seems steep even for central London! Perhaps I don't get out enough?

An amazing back to the future bottomless brunch. Our server was just oitstanding and we loved meeting Bella! Great value for money. I was lucky enough to roll double “8’s” and got a free upgrade 🙂

Aslam was the best waiter I've ever had in 54 years on this planet. He was funny, charming kind and incredibly helpful in finding me vinegar! A real testament to the Sound Cafe's service team. An all round a good experience made outstanding by Aslam!

Looking for somewhere with a bit of fun, good food and a good vibe. What was really good: Our waiter (and any staff we encountered) - funny, professional, and a real credit to the venue. Food - Americana theme. We had the smokehouse sharing platter. Meat fell apart and plenty of it. Location - central London. Two minutes walk to Central line. What needs improving: I can quite honestly say the band was terrible. They were called something like Traincrash Junction (I'm paraphrasing - it was Train something or another, but I think the new name is better). The song choice was inoffensive enough - Cardigans, Maroon 5, Natalie Imbruglia stuff from the 90s and 00s. Now take this and give it to an average high school band (with middle aged band members). Guitarist was fine but he looked liked they'd dragged him in at the last minute. Unfortunately we could endure no more and skipped pudding to flee at the interval. So, I think there needs to be better vetting of the bands allowed to play. It may be that this was a one off and we got a bad night, but as a big central London venue, you can't afford to let amateurs up, not unless they're very good. If it wasn't for the band I'd give four stars, but paying £50 per head to have to endure that wasn't great.

Really enjoyed the "Back to the Future" Afternoon Tea. Only downside was, we weren't offered any tea ...... but we had plenty of wine to make up for it😊. Don't expect your typical Afternoon Tea of dainty sandwiches, cakes & scones, this was big, chunky, tasty food & plenty of it. Our servers were great & never let our glasses stay empty for long. The atmosphere was good, but don't go if you prefer a quite tradional Afternoon Tea. Great 80s music & videos being played! Even got to roll the dice ...... but failed miserably! Excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend it

Pretty place Drinks were too sweet. No alcohol

We booked a table to celebrate a birthday during our stay in London. We were very excited as we had heard a lot of good things. We are in good spirits when we arrived at the place and were warmly welcomed by a nice lady at the counter. She showed us to the table but after that it just went downhill. We got a male waiter who was not at all interested in serving us. He was grumpy and unsmiling. We ordered drinks and it took a long time to get the drinks and when they finally arrived there were several people who didn't get the drinks they were supposed to have. We had to ask 4 times to get what we wanted. When we got dinner there was a dish missing... when the rest of us had finished eating the dish came after we had to point it out several times. Same with the dessert… same procedure. The waiter did not complain once or the kitchen. He just got angrier and angrier. When we had to pay he was so angry he started raising his voice. The atmosphere was good in the room, but the service ruined it. We left there angry and frustrated. The food was not worth the money. It was dry. But the service was the worst. When we reported the way we felt we were treated, we received no acknowledgment or apology. It ruined the whole birthday celebration and it wasn't worth leaving the money here…. Will never come back again on the second occasion. You will have to look for a long time for inferior service. 👎🏻

We were supposed to celebrate a birthday but were very disappointed. A very poor, unreachable and grumpy waiter. He had no control over anything. Everyone got food except for one person. So when everyone had finished eating the last dish arrived, it was forgotten. The same happened with the dessert, everyone except one person got it so had to ask for it and, it came a long time later when everyone had finished. Had to ask for the drink that was ordered, we asked 4 times before it arrived. A very bad experience. Bad service. Not even an apology. The music was good, and the atmosphere in the room, but this waiter unfortunately spoiled our atmosphere and experience.

All good. What made this a 3 star was the very long wait to be served. I had to ask several waiters where my order was. Waiters we're no where to be seen and I kept having to look around to try to locate them.

Lovely, lively venue. We visited yesterday evening(21.11.24). It was pretty crowed for a large venue. The staff although polite, forgot completely about our order and disappeared into the bowels of the hotel and we never saw them again. We are still waiting...The place had a real party vibe and we where there with a big group. It is a pity it closes so early (11:30), despite the forgotten order we could have stayed all night!

Had a superb dinner after a tiring day exploring London … highly recommend this place if you wanted to chill after a long day at work or just needed a relaxing dinner with music atmosphere. Have to deduct one star for service as the servers almost forgot about checking on our table for orders and check out.

Super nice the place and atmosphere . I went there with my son and we have a lovely brunch with bottomless drinks. The food portion was great and the fact that the robot was bringing us the food made us giggle . 🤭

We visited here for a nice afternoon get together 50th celebration. Excellent venue, food and the service by Dario was outstanding. Highly recommend We had the afternoon tea with unlimited drinks. We were never forgotten and the atmosphere was good.

The burger patty was the cheapest possible meat and tasted awful. I had one bite and left the rest, what a waste. Wish I had gone to McDonalds, the quality there is 1000x better. It's a shame because it's a very nice looking and modern space.

Lovely place right in the heart of London. Ww came here for the bottomless brunch offer and were not disappointed. All of the staff are lovely but Darius who was our waiter was in a league of his own, so attentive and funny. The food is good with a decent range of things. It's a little 'young' for what we would usually choose (burgers and chips etc) but is done very well. The place itself is very large with a stage and lots of music memorabilia. It reminded me of a hard rock hotel. All told pretty ace and we will return.

A great restaurant! The name suits everything about the decor of the place, it feels like you are in a concert, the atmosphere is incredible. The food was really good and affordable, we tried the burgers, fries and corn ribs and enjoyed every part of it. If you manage to get an evening booking then go for it because there are live shows on most evenings. If you’re a sports fan then you will enjoy watching games in their bar section. Overall Sound is a great restaurant for a good meal with friends and family.

We were gifted our experience as a christmas present and from the moment we sat down, we loved Sound café. Our waiter was amazing and kept our drinks topped up for our bottomless brunch. He was funny & engaging and helped make our experience fabulous! To top it all off, the little robot waiters were an unexpected but truly wonderful surprise! The decor was interesting and vibrant and added another layer to our experience. We also got to do a little bit of celebrity spotting, which was very exciting ☺️ Would definitely return and recommend it to everyone to visit!!

My girlfriend and myself went for a bottomless brunch experience. We were welcomed my very friendly staff and was shown to our table and they explained how it all worked ! The beer and the cocktails started flowing , the food came out quite quick and was really tasty and fresh , there was a nice atmosphere about the place too ! Would deff come here again

steak and fish and chips were good, don't go anywhere near the chicken tenders , the fajita chicken and the double decker burger meat were also over cooked and dry. used the first table offer but can't help but think that 9 pounds original price for 3 small chicken tender is a bit much.

We had brilliant service here. Table 49 at 630pm on Saturday 26th October (I forgot to ask our waitress’ name). Our waitress was excellent and we received efficient and friendly service. Each member of staff we spoke to was lovely too. The environment was quite loud. Not sure if it always like that or it was because it was Saturday evening? Food is lovely too. Thank you!

All in all a fun experience even if slightly unexpected: we hoped to find a more intimate atmosphere instead we were thrown into the middle of a Las Vegas Hotel lobby environment, loud and a bit tacky. The waiter who helped us, Ahmed, went over and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as it could possibly be! Professional and amicable. The food wasn’t bad, even though not much variety on offer: again it felt like being in a US diner rather than the prestigious Cumberland hotel. One last thing: for as much as we enjoyed the presence of a Japanese robot serving tables, it felt completely out of place and jarring with the rest.

Came here for bottomless brunch, had been before when it was Hard Rock Cafe and compared to then was disappointing, lacked the previous atmosphere. Our server was great, they also have AI trolleys delivering food which was quirky ( it brings food to table but needs a human to serve) good value if using Travel Zoo deal but otherwise expensive

This was our third visit to Sound Cafe for the bottomless brunch. Firstly, a couple of niggles: when we arrived (early) we took a seat in the foyer and discovered that someone had left their mobile phone on the settee. We immediately handed this to a member of staff, who took it without so much as a "Thank you" - we thought this particularly offhand and rude. Secondly, when we went to check in for our meal, we received no friendly greeting and the receptionist was extremely cold. On a positive note, the food was, as previously, very good and the service by Aslam was outstanding. What a friendly, personable and efficient guy he is! HOWEVER, where has the entertainment gone? Music playing at a very low volume (so low, that we struggled to hear it) and random videos playing on the screens. No atmosphere whatsoever. Please, please bring back the drag brunches (or similar entertainment) - they were a hoot! On this most recent visit, the lack of entertainment and atmosphere did not leave us feeling that we would want to return any time soon.

We had a very smooth and comfortable dining because of Ahmed. All our requests were met and everything came out just like how we wanted. The service was quick. The foods we had were incredibly delicious and fulfilling.

Ahmed was very fast with taking orders and when we needed anything he would be there straight away. I love the atmosphere too the music choices tonight was brilliant.

Sound Cafe seems like a promising spot, especially during peak times when the atmosphere is likely at its best. I don't want to be unfair and give it a low rating, as my experience may not reflect their usual quality. I ordered the "Combo Platter," and while it was decent, it didn't particularly stand out. The food was fine, but nothing exceptional. I'm considering giving Sound Cafe another chance in the future to see if a different visit might offer a better experience.

Booked here as had a voucher as part of a package. Arrived earlier than booked but the host was wonderful and got us sat at a table reasonably quickly. Our main waiter was Victor who together with others made sure that we enjoyed our evening. Took advantage of the BOGOF offer on cocktails and had a lovely evening. The steak was probably one of the best steaks I've had. My wife fell in love with the robot waiter ❤️. Was dreading the final bill but was pleasantly surprised with the total even after the voucher discount. It is a once in a while experience and would definitely go back.

Myself & my daughter visited yesterday evening,I had a gift voucher and was apprehensive about a set menu but i was pleasantly surprised! There was so much to choose from and every option sounded tasty! I had the Sound burger,which was cooked to perfection,served with fries and a chipotle sauce,it was one of the best burgers I have ever had!! We both had cocktails and they too were fabulous! I had apple cobbler for dessert and my daughter had a brownie,both to die for!!!!! The place itself was immaculate with a lovely ambiance and the staff were extremely welcoming. I can’t wait to return!

We did the 'back to the future' afternoon tea. Apart from dry ice and a couple of back to the future stickers, nothing really to write about on the food when compared to other themed teas. Plied with loads of drink and staff were attentive and nice.

We had a lovely bottomless brunch and it was absolutely worth the cost. We got a bit longer than the 90 mins allowed. They've changed the menu and we had a main and a desert - lots of choice and really tasty food. The service was fantastic and the prosecco glasses didn't get empty at any point until the very end! Although I didn't drink alcohol I had cocktails and lots of soft drinks so was worth it even for me.

We had a gift experience to use which included a main, dessert and a cocktail. When we entered the place there was a strong sewage smell, which put me off straight away. However, the place looked very nice. We was upset to find out there was no draught at all for beer or coke so it was either wine or cocktails. The free cocktail we had which was included in our experience was rubbish. The food was average not worth normal cost. The highlight was that they have a robot who brought the food over. Overall not worth it, especially not having any draught so cost us more money then we needed to which wasn't great when we are saving.

My family had a blast at the cocktail masterclass. We had alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks. Victor showed us how to mix our favorite drinks. We even got to go behind the bar! It was lots of fun and made for a memorable experience during our trip to London. Highly recommend!

Went with a friend for a yearly catchup. After getting something to eat, we sat at the bar for a while and ordered some drinks. We were met with lovely staff, who were extremely accommodating and friendly. One in particular was an individual named Daniel who made an incredible Zombie cocktail and made us feel extremely welcome. I would say the drink alone would make me come again, but the food service, front of house and bar service by the staff was absolutely incredible. 5/5

Poor tasting / dry classic burger. Patty was not juicy at all. Overpriced. Fish and chips had a lot of chips and a lot of batter but hardly and fish. Tartar sauce is not tartar sauce. It's normal mayo. The 2 star is only because the chips were good

Myself and my friend attended on 7/8/2024, looked after from the second we got in by Raphael, what a wonderful man, so attentive, made us feel special, bottomless brunch an understatement, he was there continuously attending to our drinks and making sure we were well looked after, it was a birthday gift for my friend and he added a birthday dessert treat for her, will definitely be back again, 5 star ⭐️ service, thank you Raphael ⭐️

Food was about average. Ordered the Tomahawk steak but was quite dry and overcooked. Chicken platter had good variety though. No issues with service other than a wrong drink. Booked for Bottomless Brunch on a Saturday. Rosemary was so attentive and skilled at her job. Our glass was never empty. Food was quick and very tasty! We managed to get a deal for our brunch, but honestly if you ended up paying full price it would be worth it! We debated over booking this venue but we were not disappointed! Great atmosphere and buzz around the place. A perfect London experience! Thanks for making our experience so enjoyable!
