Sougtani Restaurant in Harrow

This restaurant had a really nice atmosphere and very friendly attentive staff. I ordered the tagine which was very tasty. The portion sizes could be a little bigger but that's my only criticism. At the end of our meal we got some complimentary baklava and mint tea - it was the perfect way to end the meal :)

My husband and I love Sougtani. The food is delicious, and the service is perfection! They are extremely hospitable and create a great atmosphere for you to enjoy your food. We have dined here a few times and we will definitely be coming back.

Really nice food. We weren't too sure what to order but went for a few platters. The meat and fish were good. The vegetarian was a little disappointing. For the price it felt like there could have been more. That said I would definitely go again.

Food and service is always great and it has a nice ambience. We really like the menu too. The halloumi is a fave as are the chicken wings.

We visited on a Thursday but it was full, as a result it was quite noisy as the tables are on top of each other, not overly spacious. Overall food was good, lamb kabab was very good. The mixed grill was as it said 'mixed' for the price ok.

First time at this place and we were greeted by Anna. Sat down and we were offered with drink etc. The food is amazing, the chicken is mouthwatering. Anna kept checking on us and she even gave us complimentary mint tea. Excellent service 5/5

Just had lunch here and the food was delicious .The liver starter was cooked perfectly and the Kibbeh was nearly as good as my mum makes ! We all had the mixed grill as a main either with rice or chips and again , the meat was cooked perfectly . Complimentary Baklava and mint tea at the end was a lovely touch. Our first visit but definitely not our last.

Lovely friendly restaurant with great customer service. It was really quiet but then it was a stormy Sunday evening! The food was tasty and the salads were delightful. The meat was cooked well but could have has bolder flavours but that's just my preference. I will definitely come back.

We originally visited Sogtani to celebrate my sons 30 th birthday. We found the food to be excellent, with reasonable portion size of the mains ie Shish Touk and grilled lamb ( the cubes were of a decent size). We had a fantastic experience. Unfortunately when we returned a, few months later the quality was lacking although the prices had increased significantly ( understandable with the rising costs of ingredients) but we didn't expect the portion size to have decreased significantly the chicken and lamb cubes to be of a minuscule size. The service provided was substandard. Our mains arrived without the rice. We waited for 20 mins after reminding them 3 times. It was extremely disappointing and ruined our evening. After we informed the waiter, we were told "we won't charge you for the rice"! I do not think that was sufficient. We are our main without the side and did not really want to eat the rice after our mains. We visited Sogtani last year on two occasions, had meant to place a review but unfortunately been tied up. We felt the waitress was attentive towards their regulars.

Really nice veg food. They do a mezze which is rare so you get a bit of everything for an affordable price. Will go again.

Tarek and his team looked after our Club Christmas party of 42 (17 Dec) with a very good set menu of mixed starters, mains and sides catering to all dietary preferences. The food was both delicious and plentiful - option to BYO a definite winner! Dancing to Christmas party favourites rounded off the evening beautifully. Thank you Sougtani team for a great evening!

We went there for lunch on a Saturday. It was lively but not too busy. It was our first visit but will definitely not be our last! The food was excellent and the service completely attentive and warm.

Yesterday, 29th December 2023, I celebrated my birthday at this wonderful restaurant. I have been there previously with family so I knew how good the restaurant is. The owner Tariq and all the staff were fantastic, I kid you not!! They went above & beyond. One of my guest has various food allergies & Tariq very kindly got the chef to prepare dishes that were safe for her to eat. The food was absolutely delicious, all my friends were very impressed & commented that Sougtani is an excellent choice. One of my friends does not like falafel, however when she tasted sougtani 's falafel she thoroughly enjoyed it, her exact words "it was amazing". I cannot thank Tariq and his staff enough for making my birthday celebration absolutely PERFECT!! Sougtani you are a fantastic restaurant & long may you reign. I took my sister here as she was visiting us for Christmas, we both had the most wonderful time the food was AMAZING especially the fried falafel, houmus and grilled chicken👏🏼 the owner, Tariq and one of his colleagues, Victoria looked after us and they were both amazing! Will definitely be coming here again thank you for such a lovely experience

This restaurant is a must visit when you're in Pinner (North of Harrow on the Hill) The food is above what you would expect from the area, and I must highlight the staff very friendly, it's run by a couple from Poland, so expect wonderful dishes on the menu, you also get a "gratis" mint tea like no other mint tea on the planet, my experience can only be described as "Yum yum"

Had a really good experience here for my Christmas dinner with my friends. Lovely atmosphere and food was great! All staff were very polite and overall good service. Definitely will be back in the future with my family.

The best falafel and smoothest hummus we’ve ever eaten! Recommend the baba ganoush, flatbread and homemade chilli sauce too. Great service even for our large party. We had a great time celebrating a birthday!

Super starters, baba ganoush, houmous and lamb pastries delish! For mains the super flavour on the mix grill as well as the chicken tagine. Great service and to round off the baklava was very fresh and crispy. Definitely recommend.

We were a party of 18, 2 long tables, all set for us, other tables for 4, for 2, alongside. We had mezze, meat and vegetarian. Plentiful food, very thin flat bread, Lebanese wines, house wine nothing to write home about, try the beer. The tagine, chicken or lamb, very good. One of our party felt unwell, fainted - we were very well looked after by the restaurant staff, the owner giving his personal attention. She made a quick recovery

Great Lebanese restaurants! 👌 Order Kafta Meshwi, loved the taste of the lamb Veg options are quite limited but there have good options if you have more than one person that is vegetarian. Lovely atmosphere for birthdays too! I think it was the owner there, I requested last minute for a birthday candle and he delivered with sparkling candle and sweet tasting baklava which was unexpected!! Good service too

It's a good restaurant serving Lebanese and Moroccan food. The food we ordered was delicious with generous portion sizes. They also offered us complementary Moroccan mint tea and baklava to wash down the food.

Freshly cooked food and has enough option for vegetarian. Bearing in mind that they do Morocco cuisine too. Wine choices ok as missing light and smooth wines.

Local Lebanese restaurant in the centre of Pinner. Drinks were great with the mojito bursting with fresh mint and lime. The Moussaka transported me to the Middle East with the soft aubergine and rich l tomato stew stealing the show. I found the falafel had a weird flavour and was disappointed with the leather like ready made bread. However this was saved by the amazing garlic sauce and the complementary baklava and tea at the end of the meal was much welcomed.

Celebrated my birthday at Sougtani. They were accommodating, friendly and provided a quick service. Food and drinks were delicious. I had the sea bass with rice and salad; the fish was flavourful with distinct Moroccan flavours and the rice was cooked perfectly. I had the mojito to drink and it was cool and refreshing. The starters also went down very well with everyone. We were offered complimentary baklava and mint tea at the end of our meal which was very nice. Will definitely be returning again

In the past, we have very much enjoyed meals from Sougtani. With our most recent take-away order, the quality seems to have dropped somewhat. Even though salad is listed part of the Shish Taouk, the salad items were clearly an afterthought, with a few dry looking slices lettuce given on the side of the food. If salad is listed as a component of meal, it should be treated as that. If this were a cheap kebab establishment, I would expect that, but as a high-end Lebanese restaurant, the expectations go up a notch or two. If I were sat in the restaurant, they would not have presented me that poor salad. The price of a meal should reflect the quality, which sadly, on this occasion, it did not.

All good. Perfectly marinated lamb and chicken. They are now serving alcoholic drinks including Lebanese beer.

Amazing restaurant with lovely ambience and tasty food. They were very accommodating with our special dietary requirements (vegetarian without onion and garlic). Even though it was a very busy Saturday night, they made a big effort and catered for us. Lovely service with a smile. Would definitely recommend.

Food was overpriced, moussaka not as expected, was like a curry with rice, service was really bad, expected us to use the same plates for mains, asked for candles to be relight, but not done, empty salt /pepper on table, waitress was rude, told me not to complain. We didn't want to pay service charge but got told, we will get charged for bringing our own alcohol. Not happy 😧

The best place for a meal where you feel you get lots of good food for a good price. Service is always amazing and vegan options are plentiful!

Initially this looked deserted but started to fill up so clearly somewhere the locals know well. Service was outstanding plus the little extras like the complimentary baklava put this above your standard Lebanese. I saw a few groups being served beautifully presented platters so I can see there's a lot of attention to detail by the chefs. Portions were large so children could easily share one main. Definitely worth a second visit for us.

The group set meal was delicious & worth the money, although I questioned the pudding (very small portion). The service was very good apart from being a little slow on a quite night.

Best restaurant in Pinner. Been here several times and am always impressed. The food is excellent, particularly the Tagines, the platters are also nice. It's always cooked nicely with a variety of interesting flavours. But the service is the particular highlight - they really look after you and are friendly and welcoming. I've always been brought complimentary mint tea and baklava at the end which is always welcome! Would recommend without hesitation!

Went here for mothers day. There were 6 of us. Food was delicious, service was great and very reasonably priced. This was the second time I've been and it was as excellent as the first time. I'll definitely come again!

Birthday booking! Had everyone turn up after the tables and menu was confirmed, to see the whole restaurant closed without any warning ⚠️ Completely destroyed my birthday nevertheless I decided to take my friend for her birthday and the head chef was very rude and everything we ordered from the menu wasn’t available however the staff were very pleasant and polite. Overall the food quality is ok service superb but ownership terrible and horrendous!

Best Lebanese restaurant in the area, the boneless baby chicken is so flavourful grilled to perfection. Service is amazing, you feel at ease the moment you enter the door and very attentive. Will definitely be returning either to eat in as service and food are both sublime.

I ate here recently with a friend on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was full the whole time that we were there. There's a wide range of Lebanese dishes on the menu, and the prices are reasonable. The food was good quality, with good-sized portions. Unfortunately the service was poor - it took ages for a drinks order to be taken, and again for the food order, and a subsequent drinks order took so long that we thought it had been forgotten, until finally it appeared. They really need more staff.

The food - well simply the best of all middle eastern food around the area. This place beats all the Turkish and Lebanese around locally. The food is reasonably priced, tastes awesome - all of it and good portions. The customer service from Tariq and Anna (husband and wife ) make the place. They provide you Moroccan tea and sweets complimentary. Nothing is too much for them... The meat is fresh and the wings are simply lush.....

Last night I visited Sougtani and it was the best Lebanese food I have ever eaten, both locally or in central London. The mezze for two with starters and mixed grill is delightful. This was a very pleasant surprise! We live in the vicinity of this restaurant and pass it by almost daily, but never tried it. We went for a special occasion and were not disappointed. The food was spectacularly tasty, the staff was ever so friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. I'm not sure, but the chef (owner?) probably heard we were there for the first time and came to our table to ask us how we were feeling and what we thought about the food. We had an excellent experience. Would warmly recommend.

We went there to celebrate my fiancé 40th birthday, it was a surprise. The Sougtani were so accommodating, friendly and sweet. Tareq the manager was always there to help, nothing was too much. Fabulous place. Service, quality of food and the ambience all absolutely excellent. Five of us met for a casual dinner and the options to share and enjoy the variety of dishes was very welcome. The quality of the cooking with some amazing ingredients was a real treat on a wet and windy Wednesday. The portion sizes are also ‘spot on’ with very little wastage and very satisfied hungry people. Will definitely be going back.
