Excellent and very complete for breakfast. Last time I had the Vegetarian brunch and it was delicious! Price is good as well.

Top quality breakfast, friendly and polite staff, very sad it's closed now, went for breakfast this morning not a patch on Sorrento Café.....

This was a wonderful place that my wife and I ate two out of three days in London. The staff was pleasant and the food a solid bargain in a tourist location of London.

Just back from having a last lunch at this gem of a café near Euston. I say last lunch as they are closing the door for the last time today after about 15 years,

I was in a hotel but didn’t have breakfast as part of the deal so I was looking for somewhere to fuel up for the day. I’d seen this small café loads of time son my way to business meetings and they offered a veggie breakfast with coffee for £7.20 which is pretty good value for central London. It’s a basic café with five booths but very clean with five star hygiene rating from the council. The server behind the counter was friendly as I placed my order. The first big surprise was the coffee wasn’t the watery filter I was expecting but a proper cup of joe using ground beans that had a real kick. The freshly made breakfast was also an unexpected delight and I am a national expert on veggie brekkies. Apart from a sausage all the elements of a classic veggie breakfast were there. Loads of beans, a fried egg, freshly grilled mushrooms, two big hash browns and slices of grilled fresh tomatoes. Plus two slices to toast as a side. The whole thing was really well cooked and there was plenty of it. All in all a classic and well done veggie brekkie that was very, very good value for money.

Had the full English which is basically a heart attack waiting to happen, but in a good way of course.. A bit oily, but taste was fine. The service is very hearty and familiar, when I had overlooked that they only accepted cash, they insisted that I'd stay and eat my breakfast before finding an ATM. And even then they told me to just come back with the money before closing.

This small cafe is located in a pedestrianised street off the main road that I had never noticed before. They do all the regular cafe dishes at reasonable prices and the cappuccino was decent.

We had breakfast here fairly early on a Saturday morning. The place wasn't too busy so we got a table without any trouble but it took a while to get our food. We went for crepes which were OK but other things on the menu might have been better. We would have called in again but being a bank holiday weekend it was closed the other days we were in the area.

As cafe's go this was excellent. Sitting in the sun in Woburn Walk was delightful. Service very friendly food excellent and great value. Chicken and broccoli pie (or tasty) lasagne with salad (all home made) and a cup of coffee for under Lstg 9 was very good value. An excellent little cafe with particularly friendly, pleasant staff. very much recommended.

A great little cafe serving very generous servings of Italian food. I had chicken Milanese my favourite. Very nice. With pasta. Couldn’t eat it all. Staff very friendly. Great value. We’ll be going again.

Los niños optamos por sándwiches tostados y fuimos para la quiche de espinacas y pasta casera bolognaise. Realmente acogedor lugar para almorzar y nos encantó!

Metimos en aquí para el almuerzo. La lasaña vegetal sonaba genial. Fue más que genial (y enorme). Así eran las porciones enormes de patatas fritas y ensalada sirvieron con. Been here a few times now for a full English breakfast. This is not something you can do very often as with their generous portion sizes you would end up the size of a house. Served with a great mug of builders tea it is a perfect treat for breakfast.

I have been guilty of walking past this unassuming cafe, until I decided I wanted a bacon rolls for breakfast on my way to a meeting. The cafe is small - you may have to perch on a stool but teh ladies are lovely and the food is prepared in a tiny kitchen. The cafe offers normal fried food, however the bacon rolls are a thing of beauty. A choice of roll/baguette or bap and filled with a sufficient quantity of decent bacon to make it worthwhile. Washed down with a decent mug of builders' tea.

Found this place when in London last year. Small home cooked food at reasonable prices. Frequented by locals. Opens 6.30am closes 4pm and closed Sunday. We go for breakfast but they have other great value home cook meals during the day.

You have to taste the broccoli and chicken pie, it's delicious! The women that work there are very nice too

I don't think Dickens would have felt out of place in this little back street close to Euston Station. It's full of period boutique shops and this little cafe is amazing.

Tuve una experiencia muy agradable en el Café Sorrento, que es un lugar pequeño, acogedor, justo en el corazón de la zona woburn en Bloomsbury, a una corta distancia a pie de la estación de Euston. Podría decir que tiene un montón de clientes habituales, que siempre es una buena señal. Perfecto para un bollo de desayuno muy bien preparados y un buen café para acompañar. El servicio era excelente y uno tenía la impresión de que se preocupan por su comida y sus clientes. Sirve desayunos y una gran variedad de alimentos del almuerzo, que estoy seguro sería fresco y delicioso. Sin duda un lugar al que volver.

The portions for everything at this friendly little café are huge. It's in a nice part of central London so its prices are understandably higher than you might expect elsewhere in the UK, but it's still great value compared to other places nearby, such as the Resting Hare. There are more cafes (I've been to all of them at least twice) on the street but this is undoubtedly the best.

Sorrentos is fantastic, lovely home cooked food, great prices and welcoming and attentive service. It's amazing that places like this can still be found in London.

If you want to avoid the hussle and bussle of Euston Station food outlets. . .then this place is perfect. Cup of tea and some homemade food. Friendly service and literaly 2 minutes from the station. Perfect. Will return :)

Excellent petit déjeuner dans ce tout petit café à proximité de notre studio.Full English breakfast pour 7 livres , boissons incluses ! Incroyable! Les produits sont frais et cuisinés devant vous. Un bémol pour l'espace réduit, (même à table) et les "pancakes" qui se sont avérées être des crêpes bretonnes..Les employées sont très accueillantes et serviables. Un adresse à retenir !

We stumble down upon this place when searching for breakfast. What a delight! It has a great breakfast menu (I can recommend the poached eggs on toast) and it also serves home-cooked food for lunch. They also do cake and other sweet treats. I will definitely go again. The proprietor, an Italian lady, calls everyone 'darling'. A real find.

Picked this place for breakfast on the basis of previous reviews, and its convenience (just round the corner from my hotel, which wanted £18.98 for a full English). It's a small, basic cafe with bench seating, but it has a top rating for hygiene, the welcome is friendly, the food genuinely excellent and very tasty, and I got said breakfast for £7. Bargain!

We got orange juice and take away bacon sandwiches and both were very good. Nice staff and quick service.

I called in for lunch on Thursday, it was really busy and I just managed to grab a stool sitting on the counter, I had Lasagna salad and a mug of tea all for £6:90 great value for central London Tasted lovely, I'll try the full English breakfast next time that looked spot on.Definitely worth a visit .

We often take for granted our neighbours but when you realise the first stop for returning uni daughter is brunch at Vikki and Steve's i'm reminded that others may benefit from this recommendation. Everything is freshly prepared and nothing would be too much trouble from early morning breakfasts to home baking for T. Whether takeaway or very traditional eat in cafe its a perfect location for travellers and locals alike. From builders mugs of T to very decent coffee, Vikki, Steve and their girls are super attentive. We've been patronising for past 18 yrs....and despite all the competition that has sprung up...stop here for authentic london cafe experience.

We recently stayed in a hotel near St Pancras. This café serves the most tasty full English breakfasts, with a mug of tea for £6. The ladies working in the café are so welcoming, the food is great and excellent value. Whilst we were there, lots of homemade dishes were being prepared for lunch. This café is a very easy 5 minute stroll from several hotels near St Pancras. Absolutely excellent.

So glad we stopped in. Had to go back out around the corner to the ATM as she doesn't take cards but totally worth it. Had an egg and bacon roll and my husband had a bacon sandwhich on the baguette. Both were delicious and for a good price. The woman working seemed to be the owner and was lovely and very welcoming. On a little side street off woburn but not hard to find. Wish we had time the next day to go back!

Having worked in Marylebone and kings cross over the last 3 yrs, this proves to be the best and most reasonable of establishments. Staff are exceptional, food is homemade, and delicious. Decor should be listed on the heritage foundation.Kitchen and toilets - immaculate.Look out for Steve. A legend.

I needed a coffee and early lunch today before a long meeting. I went into Sorrento which hasn't changed a bit since the 70's. The warm smiling Italian welcome was WONDERFUL!. I had lasagne and salad and a coffee. The lasagna tasted as though I had walked into someones Mamas house and been invited to lunch. It was great. The man opposite had a full English breakfast, Breakfast of Champions, and it looked really good. It is often the case that we need cafe food and this one is a must!

Small old fashioned, family run cafe and sandwich bar tucked away on Woburn Walk near Euston station. Open early until mid afternoon, (not open Sundays). Great breakfasts, home made lunches, reasonable prices and lovely owners for whom nothing is too much trouble. I have visited the Sorrento each time I have visited London and have never been disappointed in the food or the service. Popular with staff from surrounding businesses. Great little cafe and will visit again on my next trip to London.

This hole in a wall is like finding solid gld I swear!! My friend and I were looking for a nice place to eat a full english breakfast on a budget tostart our first day in the UK on the right foot. After a little googling, we stumbled upon this place on the TripAdvisor page and saw how satisfied everyone who left a review was and what praise they gave it. Boy were we glad we went there. From the friendlyness of the staff to the amazing homestyle cooking, we can't recommend the place enough! My friend and I both had the full English breaakfast with beans and hash browns. We then split a Victoria sponge and an apple crumble & custard, and all of it was finger licking deliciousness! On top of that, everything only came to a whopping £16!!! This place was the highlight of our day! Returning is a must!!

If you want a proper breakfast or lunch time snack this is the place to come. Don't let the outside put you off. I had lovely poached eggs on brown toast and a proper mug of good tea and my husband had a full English. Came back again the next day and had breakfast again plus a sandwich each (cheese and tomato) for the journey home - £17. Very good value and very good food. Wish I could have stayed for the Spag Bol that the lady was making as we left.

If you want great food this is the place to visit. Do not bother with the fast food outlets in Euston or St Pancras. The All day breakfast is fantastic. The welcome is great. If you have the breakfast as a Brunch( Have chips) you are set up for the day and it is SO cheap. The home made cakes are great.

This snack-br is just a few steps across the street from the Hilton Euston. A great location for breakfast. If weather is nice you can sit outside and watch the commuters head to work. Prices are extremely reasonable. Spent 5.30 GBP for toasted ham and cheese sandwich and a large coffee.

Went there for breakfast. An absolute delight! On stepping in, the lady greeted with a smile and was very welcoming. Very nice atmosphere. Had coffee and toast with fried egg - cooked to perfection, a perfect portion for breakfast. Reasonably priced, and has a variety of different kinds of sandwiches, baguettes, omelettes, pies...Would recommend warmly, and will definitely go again.

Have a full cooked English breakfast at the Sorrento Cafe and then spend the rest of the day enjoying the London sights. You won't need anything else to eat until the evening, we didn't! It's nothing fancy but all the food is freshly cooked. It's very small , only a few tables inside and a couple outside if you're feeling strong enough to brave the British weather. There's a friendly welcome and a straight forward choice, but worth a visit.

Popped in while staying at a nearby hotel and didn't fancy the £20 extra charge for breakfast. It's a friendly, happy place. I only had a bacon roll but they got it so right. Beautiful fresh cob with just the right amount of bacon and brown sauce. Heaven. Thank you ladies, you brightened my morning.

This is the second time we have visited London in the last 4 months and stayed at the Premier Inn St Pancras, however we wanted to try a local cafe that didn't rip us off and we found the Sorrento Cafe, it is tucked away in a really quaint old fashioned street just off the Euston road, and the food is fantastic. If you want a good old traditional English Breakfast - this is the place. For £6 you get a FULL English, with tea or coffee and toast. Compared to the Premier Inns £10 it's a no brainier. The staff in Sorrento are absolutely lovely and so friendly and I would definately recommend this cute little cafe for anyone staying in that area of London.

When you go in you immediately feel at home. A super kind "mum" comes to you and asks what's your desire. She starts to show lasagne, panini, english breakfast, salads...and she repeats: "Darling, I made it by myself!" :-) I Everything is very simple. traditional and tasty! We had a lot of fun!

We were at Euston station and instead of paying a fortune for barely adequate food we walked a couple of minutes away to this cafe. It's not big, it's not flashy but the food is freshly cooked, big portioned and for London very cheap. I would have loved to sample the chocolate cake but had eaten too much already.The staff are lovely. Whilst we were there many workers dropped in to pick up a sandwich to takeaway. Many of them known to the owners.

This little cafe tucked away in a small side conserved street that has been used in many a TV historic drama serves good homemade food at a reasonable cost. The menu offers an extensive brunch menu with lots of choice for Veggies and non Veggies alike. If you are near Euston or Kings Cross and want something other than the faceless Coffee shop and snack bar chains definitely give this place a visit. My favourite is the Veggie Breakfast followed by home made apple pie and custard!!

Had an hour or so to spare before train out from Euston. Fancied something a bit different from the predictable fare that the food-chains have to offer. Found this place by chance. Amazing quality, value & service. Everything home cooked - really really good. Bacon roll was fresh, packed with bacon - helped down with a large mug of tea. Lovely family run business, really homely atmosphere. And all for just over £3.00. I work not too far away so will definitely return to try out the home made lasagne and apple crumble & custard. Everything on the board sounded delicious. I noticed it also caters well for vegetarians. Simply brilliant.

If you are near Euston and looking for a proper English breakfast this is the place to go,three lovely ladies performing miracles in a very small kitchen.My wife and I had breakfast 2 days whilst staying round the corner in the Premier Inn and were fuelled up for both days of sightseeing,so much so that hunger didn,t come on till very late afternoon. Full English ,giant size,for £6 in London was unbelievable.The photos on other revues tell the story. Well done ladies.

Found this place on trip advisor and so glad we did. Staff very friendly and great value for money with hot tasty food. My wife and I had a full English for £6 each and my son beans and toast which he loved. Just off the beaten track at Euston. Fully recommend .

Hvis en velger Full English Breakfast får en egg, toast, bacon og pølse, og kan fritt velge to ekstra tilbehør av sopp, bønner, tomater og chips (pommes frites). Anbefaler virkelig dette stedet, og kommer selv tilbake en gang! :)

Great little cafe in the oldest pedestrian street in London. Go there for the superb breakfast. This is village London, and can't be beat.

Rather than pay the high price for breakfast at the hotel around the corner, we went here every morning. For L6.00, you get the biggest and best full English breakfast you will ever eat! Plus they make their own pastries, and the Danish is huge and so delicious. Do not expect a fancy table. It's very basic, but honestly, the food is great! Lots of Londoners stop in for breakfast take-aways, and the people who own the restaurant and work there are soooo nice and friendly. It's a small place, but do yourself a favor and eat here! You can watch them make the wonderful stuff they'll be serving for lunch while you eat your breakfast!

We were looking for a full English breakfast, and found a great one here. The coffe was very Italian, and very excellent. The only downside was that the full English breakfast had no black pudding, which is a pro for some and a con for others.

Loved this little cafe. Had lunch there & went back the next day for breakfast. For lunch we had jacket potato and home made lasagne. Breakfast was full English and a vegetarian breakfast. All food is fresh, home made and tastes delicious! Some gluten free options too. Service is great, so friendly it feels like you have Italian grandparents! Great prices for London too.
