Cafe Plaka in Camden

Had full English, 2 snotty under cooked eggs, 1 unpleasant sausage, 2 cheapest rashers. 1 hash brown, toast lightly brown on 1 side. Beans were fine. £15 for this, Cup of tea extra. Not sure this wasn't a prank, As I happened to look up to see 2 members of staff looking at me and laughing. Could not recommend to anyone.

They charge a service charge of 10% and then another 10% as a tip on top of that, what adds up to 20%. Food is ok otherwise, I had pancakes, they were fresh but toppings like fruits felt scarce.

we had just arrived on the morning Eurostar and decided to have the English breakfast here, it was genuinely divine & made me so glad to be back in the UK, don’t hesitate to come here, the people were lovely too

I was headed to a different breakfast place when I happened upon Cafe Plaka and I am thankful I went in! The cafe Americano warmed my soul as did the avocado toast. The bread was DELICIOUS and not overly toasted, and eggs were cooked perfectly. It was a great start to my day.

We went to breakfast and they were super nice, plus it was our friend's birthday and they made it More special. Highly recommended

Originally came here for the fish and chips. It turned out not to be sold. The store owner is very polite and kind. The food is delicious

I thought this place was OK only... Small, tight dining area inside. Reasonably small "petite" portions I would say - 4 moderate pancakes for £12.50. Coffee was not to my taste - a little burnt. Pancakes were good, but needed more sauce as I would expect it a little more covered, or with more fruit and less "decorative". Note service charges of 10% aren't included in prices and are in addition at checkout. The hot breakfast looks like it's served from a bain-marie, so would not reccomend either.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting - a great spot to enjoy a full English breakfast (£15) - this dish had everything I wanted except for black pudding, which was not offered. However, the overall breakfast was pretty good. The portion was generous enough for me to feel full for hours, which might justify the price.

Hidden gem near King's Cross will undoubtedly be our go to place eveytime we visited now!!! Service and staff were friendly and welcoming, attentive too. We ordered The No. 2 and The American style and it didn't disappoint!! Freshly squeezed orange and a Smoothie to go with it. Thank you so much we'll be back in 2025!

We was visiting London and staying up the road from cafe plaka, we decided to give breakfast a try at this cafe, it was extremely busy ,but we was seated promptly with a very warm welcome. The place buzzing and even had people waiting outside for a table! The staff was so friendly and happy, the what appered to be the manager was the barrister this day, what we really noticed was the great team work! We wasn't sure if our waiter was new , but if he was he did amazing , what appered to be a very busy cafe, really did seem stress free. And that was due to all the team. The food was outstanding, all the produce was fresh and very tasty. We had a plaka breakfast, and it set us up for our day. Would highly recommend this place, so don't be put off if you have to wait for a table. We look forward to visiting this lovely little cafe again on our next visit 😊.

This restaurant has very good food and good service. Highly recommended. To highlight, the work of Noelia, one of the waitresses, who looked after us very well, and advised us with all the doubts we had.

Nice small place near St Pancras International train station, Normally busy in the morning with people trying to grab quick breakfast before heading to underground. The owner was so friendly and keep checking on us if the food is okay. London will definitely be the place to visit again

Ate here twice over the weekend whilst waiting for trains. Great food, friendly and quick service. Will definitely return when next in the area.

Maybe Sunday morning is a stressful time. The place had the charm of a rail way station eatery. The food was not really hot, neither the tea. Although the taste was fine and the service tried its best. We were almost thrown out even before the last sip of tea. Probably better not to visit Sunday mornings.

I came here first time a few weeks ago when staying in the standard round the corner. This week we came back as we had such a lovely experience - food is great but especially love the people working here they are really fun and friendly and happy and lifted my mood up! I’ll be back soon.

I went to Cafè Plaka for breakfast, and I probably caught the rush hour, because the place was really full. The service, in fact, was not perfect, with some small errors and a bit of slowness. However, I have to say that the waiter was very smiley and professional, something I really appreciated. Despite the confusion, the staff proved capable and kind. I give 4 stars out of 5 for those small defects in the service, but otherwise the food is good and the prices are fair. Recommended, perhaps avoiding rush hour!
