Great place to visit, highly recommended.

Been 4 times now and each time staff made me feel welcome and are always very polite. The food has been great but their coffee is amazing. I love the teddy per child idea as well.

Enjoyable afternoon. Great place to come if you have little ones. I’ve been a few times before and food was much better but today must’ve just been an off day in the kitchen. Love the relaxed vibe and the toys and books are conducive to that!

The Wobbly Wanderers were in Chesterfield and Wobbly two wanted to have something to eat. As we were passing we went in. As Wobbly One had already eaten he opted for a Pint of Birra Moritti and Wobbly two opted for hot chocolate. Wobbly two decided on a Tuna Panini Melt. The food was delivered quickly and seemed well presented. Wobbly two said that it was very nice.....a compliment indeed. The premises used to be Chesterfield Post Office.. but has now been recycled into an eating house.

The food and staff were lovely! Very relaxing atmosphere. We had a nice evening.

My most favourite place to go for food!! Hands down every time, such a friendly place, even have a crafting table for the children and play area for the younger children and board games too. Food and drinks are divine! We came here for my daughters birthday and definitely would come again thank you for such a pleasant service. X

Love it here, great food, great price and great service. Tapas dishes are really lovely and at £4.75 for one or 3 for £13 you can't go wrong. Quite a good selection of food. Had breakfast here as well as lunch and dinner and all fab.

Good place for families. Kids area to keep them entertained for a while. We tried the tapas. Food was decent quality.

Like most of the lounges, Sorbo has a good selection of drinks, cocktails and food. This one in the centre of Chesterfield was excellent. Friendly people and great service.

My favourite restaurant in Chesterfield. Great veggie and vegan choices. The food is always delicious, fresh and well presented. Quirky decor and good atmosphere. Recommend the Moroccan aubergine flatbread!

Visited for the first time last night and was not disappointed! As soon as we walked in we we're greeted by a very warm smile from a very welcoming member of staff and led to our table with a copy of the (even more extensive than google suggested) vegan menu. The music was spot on and the artwork absolutely covering the place was stunning! The girl who served us even had some beautiful artwork on herself! We were well looked after and the friendly, happy staff all seemed very genuinely committed to making our visit as pleasant as possible. As for the food, the general selection was great and the massive vegan menu was well varied and extensive compared to most other places. Above that, it was all well seasoned, well cooked, well presented, and - most importantly - tasted great! (I had the Vegan Buddha Bowl) Overall, this was a 10/10 dining experience for me and I will be returning regularly and spreading the word to my friends. Well done everyone, and thanks!

I went with my 4 kids and their granddad. We all had food and some drinks. The staff were all fantastic with the kids. It was super hot day to, we asked if we could move tables once we had ordered to a window seat. Not a problem at all. The food was exceptional, all of us finished our plates. Definitely recommend this place to anyone sorry for the late review. I genuinely cannot give the staff and food enough praise. Keep up the exceptional work.

I come here with my family quite often. It is always busy therefore they are doing something right which is good to see. The service from the girls is great. You get acknowledged straight away and taken to your table. We have never been turned away even when busy. They always try to accommodate you. The food and drinks menu is great and has lots of options. You have to go upto the till to order which is fine. Drinks come quick. Food comes in good time even when busy. Never had any complaints about the drinks or food. They always have crafts and colouring for the kids which is great. Sometimes extra in the school holidays like face painting etc. The place is quite quirky and fun. The only thing I would have to say and I say it every time I visit. The staff need to wear uniform. It looks very untidy and unhygienic and not professional. We don’t want to see belly buttons, tattoos and piercings in places we don’t need to see. One of the staff had a 4 letter word beginning with F on her nails. Not really appropriate when serving a family with kids. Need to look over hygiene with the staff also as the lady who greeted me had her finger in her ear itching it and another was playing with her earring. This isn’t to put them down as they are great but maybe management needs to just be ontop of things like that as they are serving food. The bar has a lot of clutter everywhere which makes it look really messy and not clean. I know it’s part of the look with the decor but too much makes it look sometimes messy looking It doesn’t stop me from coming as the food and service is great just let’s improve little things to get you your 5*

Best breakfast in Chesterfield and the beans come in a separate bowl. Bacon and avocado salad is a great lunch choice. It's aA favourite spot for us. The coffee is great, love a flat white plus good selection of beers on tap, I could stay all day.

Honestly expected more for the money. Called in today on bank holiday for lunch. Ordered the Philly steak sandwich and chips. For the price it was small, no side salad and looked a bit sad. We were sat near the servery and it was sat waiting for ages whilst the rest of the food was getting made. The chips were just about warm. Husband had a club sandwiche which looked much better. Daughter had a kids meal of grilled chicken and rice which she enjoyed and was quite a good portion. Overall, mixed review.

10.30am Sunday morning, fairly busy. Lounge breakfast x 2 - food was luke warm, egg not cook well. Disappointing, this is the second visit food was not hot. Used be to our Sunday morning go to place, but will be looking else where, sadly.

Delicious food, and friendly warm service!

Called in today with relative for a pint and a coffee. Had been raining earlier but stopped so outdoor seating wet but as busy chose to sit outside. I was happy to wipe chairs myself with paper towel but the young lady who had served us was more than happy to help do this and very apologetic. Now to some this me seem like it's her job however I was most impressed by her customer focused attitude and it has made me want to return for a meal soon.

Lovely place. Great service. Great food. Love the book swap area and it's so family friendly. It genuinely is lovely. Staff are fabulous. So easy to order & pay via phone. Would thoroughly recommend. I marked It down by 1 star purely because it got a little loud for me with the children's musical toys (the children were doing what children do, smashing the heck out of them) so probably not the greatest for people who may have heightened senses and maybe people who prefer not to be around children may want to check their is seating AWAY from the children's corner. Worth a visit.

Great selection of food, delicious food, great atmosphere, family friendly but also great for adults

This place is excellent for young families. Loads of stuff for the kids to do - toys, colouring, books, etc. - and the staff were really friendly too. The food is not fancy by any means, but very tasty. The kids meal option is great value.

Called in for some lunch while out shopping and what a fantastic place to eat , the staff were so friendly and polite, the menu had my mouth watering and I'll definitely be back to try the tapas and cocktails . Totally child friendly which is great for planning where to eat when taking the grandkids. The toilets were so clean and it was nice to see the unit with bits and bobs on for unexpected events. We didn't find it expensive for our food and drinks and will return next time we are in chesterfield .

Fantastic place. Great brunch menu. The gluten free options were great also. Very accommodating to change things on the menu and really family friendly with kids activities and play area.

Yet again a lovely meal in a lounge, different location some great standards 👌 friendly staff and great food what more can you ask for. This time had there cowboy smash burger was delicious 😋

Me & my wife go for breakfast every Saturday, if we can, and it is always very good. A nice place to pop in for just a coffee.

The food, service and friendly staff are exeptional and coupled with being pet friendly I cannot recommend them enough

Went for brunch, ordered 2 breakfasts and drinks totalling £30. We waited 1.5 hours, were sent the wrong order (someone else's dessert), and then we're given cold inedible breakfasts. After a few bites I asked for a refund. I was given 5 pounds for my breakfast. I requested a full refund and was met with a lot of push back and tactics such as "the next time you come in" "well you've eaten some of the food" - I won't be back. After the few mouthfuls of food we had my partner and I are both very unwell, we expected a lot more.

Accessible entrance and toilet for my husband, a wheelchair user. Lovely helpful staff. Personally, I don't like the QR code ordering system but it was efficient. Nice food and drinks.

We visited for Brunch that they serve all day. The cost is reasonable and the food quality matches. Relaxed atmosphere and they do have bits for young guests to enjoy. Welcomed upon entry and this service continued. Option to order at your table or through the app. Will certainly come again.

I went in a group of five for dinner. The others were quite satisfied with their meals but I was disappointed by my coconut prawn noodles. The prawns were warm but the noodles and sauce were cold. I should have complained when it was brought instead of afterwards and in fairness they did give me a glass of wine on the house as recompense.

Had lunch today at the Sorbo Lounge in Chesterfield. It was busy, but there was a really friendly vibe, and we were shown to our table quickly. The food was great, but the service from the three front of house staff was excellent; they were friendly, professional and really helpful, despite it being a busy time. Brilliant all round.

We had a great time. Edit, went back and had a better time. I wish the prices were back £2 or £3 cheaper. The single brownie was tiny for £6.75 But cannot fault the atmosphere and being kid friendly is a massive win. Edited to add a star. 4.75 would be my honest score

What better reincarnation for chesterfields post office. Great food, beautiful and helpful staff. Best booking if you going at a busy time. Took my 10 year old daughter for breakfast the other day. Believe me she's the critic, and even though very busy, she still wolfed the bacon sausage and beans down (I get the egg and mushrooms) Did think beans a bit cool, and we told the waiting staff. Love embarrassing the kids. Us English will slag off the food and then tell staff it's "lovely thank you" Not me, although always polite and understand the pressure. Management, give the girls a bonus and stop cramming any more tables in. No, you'll see a lot more of me. Even if sat alone in a corner. You've both passed the kid test, parent test. Just keep an eye on the kiddos as this will be a place they may wander from. I'll be looking out to help from the shadows. Top eatery. Not so much a quiet thinking pub. Went here a few weeks ago but it was really nice, kind of unexpected too but I really liked it. They have a good wine selection and it wasn't super busy so the atmosphere was nice too.

Good selection of food although we only had drinks this time. Quite expensive, especially for wine by the glass.

Went out with my friend, not been for many years, because was the service was not good. Like you do when service is bad. But decided to try the taps. Prawns (5) chilled beef quasadilla,- 2 tiny pieces, and the squid, which was far too over done. Over £12, not value for money and not good. Sorry.

Love this place! Great for the kids, they have a play section and a crafts table! The baby changing toilets had a trolley of free nappies, wipes, cream, talc etc which I found absolutely amazing and something you just don’t find in many other places! The food was amazing and reasonably priced, the staff were happy and friendly. Can’t wait to visit again

They were able to easily accommodate the dietary requirements of some members of our group. They had a large selection on the menu and was good value. Will definitely return.

How on earth one of the girls has got a job here I do not know ! She’s so rude ! All the staff are lovely here , but to be honest this place is understaffed and the food is going down hill ! Sorry to say this but we use to love coming here ! I hope it improves

Veggie Breakfast absolutely delicious came with a free range egg a proper free range egg.

Great selection of Vegan and Vegetarian food, my kids did enjoy the Easter craft that was on offer too. It was very busy when we went in, but the food came out in reasonable time and I would order the Vegan BLT again delicious 😋

Terrible food. Can’t even cook a poached egg. Friends fried egg looked like plastic. On the plus side the staff did apologise and made me a refund. Wouldn’t recommend.

I was on my own and the place had a friendly atmosphere but didn't feel awkward or out of place. I eat there twice I enjoyed it that much.

We popped in for a Sunday lunch, our first visit to Sorbo Lounge. I had the bang bang cauliflower and my wife had a beetroot and feta flatbread. We both really enjoyed our meal, one of the best meals we've had eating out in Chesterfield and I'd highly recommend Sorbo Lounge to anyone looking for good quality food in very pleasant surroundings. The serving staff were all attentive and helpful, can't really fault any aspect of our meal.

What a fabulous place!! Only criticism I have is it was really noisy so had to shout to my friend. So hard finding anywhere that does gluten free food usually. My gluten free meal was fab.

Good food, although I didn’t feel like I got a great quantity for the price. Really enjoyed my cocktail though, it was definitely my favourite thing I had. Also great quantity of vegetarian and vegan options! Staff were really friendly, loved the atmosphere and I would definitely come back again. Edit: I came back again and the experience was even better. I felt like the price was more justifiable for the food I got this time and it was also extremely tasty.

Asked to wait while they cleared a table before being led to an already clear different table. Limited space at the bar and very slow service. Food not hot enough. Lots of noise from some tables.

Everything about my visit to the lounge was very enjoyable

Such a lovely, family friendly place that we discovered today! The place was heaving but we were served promptly and staff were helpful and friendly. Our little boy absolutely loved the play area, it is so well thought out with toys and books and we also noted an arts and crafts area for older children. Food and drink was delicious, we will definitely be visiting again!

No longer allergy friendly!!!!!! Sorbo was a great place to eat in the town centre, I have eaten numerous times at Sorbo with friends and family. The staff have always been extremely understanding when it comes to my allergies. Usually staff inform the chef and other kitchen staff members of all my allergies. This is no longer the case i have four major food allergies but two of them were not in the top 10 allergens for their policies! And that it is now against their polices to inform the people cooking and preparing peoples food for their allergies. Stated by two very rude staff members that they are trying to protect me from anaphylactic shock by not informing the staff who is preparing the food. I have been hospitalised twice with a kiwi allergy. Either Sorbo have some very twisted views about how to protect their customers or the staff just simply do not care. I understand there's always risk to eating out when you have allergies, but the risk is minimised vastly when the people preparing your food are aware of your allergies! I could not eat here due to the staff members sending my anxiety through the roof and I will not be setting foot in the place again. You have lost a loyal customer Sorbo.

I've been going to Sorbo 5 or 6 times a year since it opened and always enjoyed the food and good service until yesterday. I went for lunch yesterday around 12.30 with my sister and both the service and food was unacceptable. We ordered a lounge breakfast with hash brown instead of fried egg and a fish finger sandwich. The food took a very long time to arrive and when it did my hash browns and mushrooms were cold and the toast was barely brown on one side and not at all toasted on the other side and there was no butter or spread with it. My sister said that the fish fingers were barely warm and the bread was stale. Not the level of service or food that we've come to expect from Sorbo.

Was a nice warm and welcoming experience. Staff were really friendly. Food was nice. Had the tapas sharing plate, and it was just enough. Not too badly priced either.

Absolutely love going to sorbo lounge, I go regularly for a coffee and also breakfast and evening meal. A lovely atmosphere, friendly helpful staff and if your like me and have a intolerance to any food they go out their way to accommodate it. The menu as something for everyone.

I had a burger. I though it a bit over priced for what actually came. When you tip the chips out it's not very much. Burger tasted great though.

We arrived at a busy lunchtime today and were seated within minutes. Thank you to all the staff today for your service.

Recommend the Goan lamb curry, broccoli side and garlic bread.
