Always lovely to come here. Great food choice for everyone, gluten free and vegan menus are great and I've never had a bad meal here. Really relaxed atmosphere, lovely cocktails. Dog friendly!!

Went out with my friend, not been for many years, because was the service was not good. Like you do when service is bad. But decided to try the taps. Prawns (5) chilled beef quasadilla,- 2 tiny pieces, and the squid, which was far too over done. Over £12, not value for money and not good. Sorry.

Love this place! Great for the kids, they have a play section and a crafts table! The baby changing toilets had a trolley of free nappies, wipes, cream, talc etc which I found absolutely amazing and something you just don’t find in many other places! The food was amazing and reasonably priced, the staff were happy and friendly. Can’t wait to visit again

They were able to easily accommodate the dietary requirements of some members of our group. They had a large selection on the menu and was good value. Will definitely return.

How on earth one of the girls has got a job here I do not know ! She’s so rude ! All the staff are lovely here , but to be honest this place is understaffed and the food is going down hill ! Sorry to say this but we use to love coming here ! I hope it improves

Veggie Breakfast absolutely delicious came with a free range egg a proper free range egg.

Great selection of Vegan and Vegetarian food, my kids did enjoy the Easter craft that was on offer too. It was very busy when we went in, but the food came out in reasonable time and I would order the Vegan BLT again delicious 😋

Such a lovely, community, family feel to the place. The staff are just incredible and the food, drinks are great. We love it here, it's one of our favourites!

Terrible food. Can’t even cook a poached egg. Friends fried egg looked like plastic. On the plus side the staff did apologise and made me a refund. Wouldn’t recommend.

I was on my own and the place had a friendly atmosphere but didn't feel awkward or out of place. I eat there twice I enjoyed it that much.

We popped in for a Sunday lunch, our first visit to Sorbo Lounge. I had the bang bang cauliflower and my wife had a beetroot and feta flatbread. We both really enjoyed our meal, one of the best meals we've had eating out in Chesterfield and I'd highly recommend Sorbo Lounge to anyone looking for good quality food in very pleasant surroundings. The serving staff were all attentive and helpful, can't really fault any aspect of our meal.

What a fabulous place!! Only criticism I have is it was really noisy so had to shout to my friend. So hard finding anywhere that does gluten free food usually. My gluten free meal was fab.

Good food, although I didn’t feel like I got a great quantity for the price. Really enjoyed my cocktail though, it was definitely my favourite thing I had. Also great quantity of vegetarian and vegan options! Staff were really friendly, loved the atmosphere and I would definitely come back again. Edit: I came back again and the experience was even better. I felt like the price was more justifiable for the food I got this time and it was also extremely tasty.

Asked to wait while they cleared a table before being led to an already clear different table. Limited space at the bar and very slow service. Food not hot enough. Lots of noise from some tables.

Everything about my visit to the lounge was very enjoyable

Such a lovely, family friendly place that we discovered today! The place was heaving but we were served promptly and staff were helpful and friendly. Our little boy absolutely loved the play area, it is so well thought out with toys and books and we also noted an arts and crafts area for older children. Food and drink was delicious, we will definitely be visiting again!

No longer allergy friendly!!!!!! Sorbo was a great place to eat in the town centre, I have eaten numerous times at Sorbo with friends and family. The staff have always been extremely understanding when it comes to my allergies. Usually staff inform the chef and other kitchen staff members of all my allergies. This is no longer the case i have four major food allergies but two of them were not in the top 10 allergens for their policies! And that it is now against their polices to inform the people cooking and preparing peoples food for their allergies. Stated by two very rude staff members that they are trying to protect me from anaphylactic shock by not informing the staff who is preparing the food. I have been hospitalised twice with a kiwi allergy. Either Sorbo have some very twisted views about how to protect their customers or the staff just simply do not care. I understand there's always risk to eating out when you have allergies, but the risk is minimised vastly when the people preparing your food are aware of your allergies! I could not eat here due to the staff members sending my anxiety through the roof and I will not be setting foot in the place again. You have lost a loyal customer Sorbo.

I've been going to Sorbo 5 or 6 times a year since it opened and always enjoyed the food and good service until yesterday. I went for lunch yesterday around 12.30 with my sister and both the service and food was unacceptable. We ordered a lounge breakfast with hash brown instead of fried egg and a fish finger sandwich. The food took a very long time to arrive and when it did my hash browns and mushrooms were cold and the toast was barely brown on one side and not at all toasted on the other side and there was no butter or spread with it. My sister said that the fish fingers were barely warm and the bread was stale. Not the level of service or food that we've come to expect from Sorbo.

Was a nice warm and welcoming experience. Staff were really friendly. Food was nice. Had the tapas sharing plate, and it was just enough. Not too badly priced either.

I had a burger. I though it a bit over priced for what actually came. When you tip the chips out it's not very much. Burger tasted great though.

Absolutely love going to sorbo lounge, I go regularly for a coffee and also breakfast and evening meal. A lovely atmosphere, friendly helpful staff and if your like me and have a intolerance to any food they go out their way to accommodate it. The menu as something for everyone.

Good place to meet friends food is good and dig friendly is a bonus.

Normally our first port of call, went after an escape room ready to spend a fair bit. Really poor organisation, had people in groups of 3 on a large table so we were told they had no space now - with a little forethought and common sense they could have quickly moved a small group (who hadn't sat down yet) to a smaller table but there was no interest in problem solving and zero customer service. Whilst I accept Saturdays can be busy, this could have easily been sorted. Not a problem - we won't bother next time!

What better reincarnation for chesterfields post office. Great food, beautiful and helpful staff. Best booking if you going at a busy time. Took my 10 year old daughter for breakfast the other day. Believe me she's the critic, and even though very busy, she still wolfed the bacon sausage and beans down (I get the egg and mushrooms) Did think beans a bit cool, and we told the waiting staff. Love embarrassing the kids. Us English will slag off the food and then tell staff it's "lovely thank you" Not me, although always polite and understand the pressure. Management, give the girls a bonus and stop cramming any more tables in. No, you'll see a lot more of me. Even if sat alone in a corner. You've both passed the kid test, parent test. Just keep an eye on the kiddos as this will be a place they may wander from. I'll be looking out to help from the shadows. Top eatery. Not so much a quiet thinking pub. Called in for Brunch and a Christmas catch-up with a friend. The place is pleasantly decorated with an eclectic style. There are plenty of seating areas and the tables are well spaced out. Another delightful feature was that the place is 'dog- friendly ' which is always a plus, in my view. I opted for Shakshuka which was filling and tasty with just enough spice. The poached eggs were cooked to perfection and it was served with flatbread. I also had a freshly squeezed orange juice which was delicious!!! My friend opted for the Miami brunch with cheese and sweetcorn fritters, black bean and sweetcorn salsa, avocado and feta. The food was served quickly and with friendly staff in an efficient way, bringing napkins and cutlery BEFORE serving the food and drinks. Altogether a lovely way to start the day and we shall certainly return. One slight negative... we hoped to have a Bucks fizz with our brunch as it was a special occasion. Unfortunately they were 'out' of prosecco. HOWEVER we were served with a 'pud' of delicious chocolate brownie, as an apology, and we left feeling full and happy.

Wow what a great venue. Food was lovely. The little extras for families like craft area, kids reading books etc were just so lovely to see. Ladies room had free toiletries, sanitary wear. A rare thing to see but great to see such a community spirit to its customers. Defo will be back

I’m not one to write bad reviews as we all have an off day. However, today was quite different. My wife ordered a Mezze Salad Bowl with “Whipped & Crumbled Feta” - the salad arrives with NO FETA, we ask the obliging member of staff for some feta who takes it back to the chef where he was quite vocal booming out (we were close to the serving hatch) “IT DOESN'T COME WITH FETA”….reluctantly he put a crumb on. So I went back to the bar & bought a side dish of whipped & crumbled feta…for £4.55….the pictures are after the Chef added feta & the second one which I bought would have been acceptable. 🤷🏼‍♂️

After being let down by another breakfast place last minute..me my hubby n 4yr old daughter came here n was seated straight away..Great service,great play area for kids n we sat right next to it,great food, great drinks ..they made our day a great one ..we all really happy 😊

Love this place. Kid friendly and the meals are great and not too expensive. Cocktails are good 👍 Never too long a wait. Been here twice now and really enjoyed my meals. Even booking a table of 10 people - Meal waiting time was only 20 minutes for everyone to have food.

A wonderful, welcoming and accomodating venue. The staff are wonderful, incredibly friendly, very tentive and extremely hardworking. Always smiling and the management shines through their efforts too as their ideas for the public custom. Their areas for play and creativity for kids are a beautiful, down to earth touch which contrasts beautifully amongst the classy and elegant atmosphere. Food and drink are spectacular, reasonably priced, very generous too, even with their scheme to allow people who are struggling due to the cost of living which warms my heart, as not a lot of businesses encorporate this scheme. Its somewhere I've been before a few times but not will become more frequent, well done guys keep up the good work, you're all lovely! God bless, Joshua Nye. :) x

Restaurant with a mixed fusion menu. The food was lovely. Good selection of drinks.

Really tasty food, but a lot to less. Very expensive, paid around 50,- euro for two persons and both went hungry. In the Rosie‘s chicken (as a main course!) haven‘t been more than 1 oz of chicken. The portion of Chilli was really for laughing an drinks are in really small glasses; beer is very expensive. Conclusion: go anywhere else where quality is the same but you‘ll get a lot more for your money. Sad but true. Never come back!

Usual experience with this chain, gaudy decor, staff that don't really give much, let's face it you order yourself and pay, food comes and its random if its good, reasonable or bad, you've already paid anyway. We were hungry I had Pancakes and bacon, my wife had a rather tired looking microwaved chilli, we ate, we're sated and left...nough said.

Phoned on Saturday 14/10/23 to book table for 6 adults, 2 children on Sunday 15/10/23 at 1pm and told not able to book a table on Sunday before 4pm. Walk-ins only before 4pm on Sundays but not to worry plenty of tables available early lunchtime. Well, guess what, we turned up at 1pm and no tables available as they were all booked!!! To add insult to injury the ladies on the door asked why we hadn’t booked. This was not a one off mistake by the person answering the phone as a few months ago my son phoned to try to book a table for 8 at 1pm on a Sunday and was told exactly the same thing. No bookings taken before 4pm on Sundays. Walk-ins only til 4pm. He booked a table for 4pm on that occasion and we had tea instead of lunch. What a shambles. Staff answering phones need to be educated regarding the booking system that the restaurant use on Sundays.

We frequently visit your establishment, on Wednesday of this week we came for breakfast, unfortunately when my daughter received hers there was hair on her plate, we called the waitress over who apologised and replaced her meal,we was offered a free drink as a goodwill gesture, the waitress came back and apologised again stating she couldn't believe it as all the kitchen staff wore hats ,we was sat adjacent to the servery and noticed one of the kitchen s taff had long pink hair and it wasn't tied back and she had a baseball cap on unfortunately this is not the first time this has occurred, a very disappointed customer 🙄

Immediately as we arrived we were greeted with smiles and felt very welcome. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the food was delicious. Such a varied menu for both food and drink. Something for everyone.

Interesting venue with an eclectic feel to it. Large menu at reasonable prices. Food wasn't bad although I felt portion sizes were adequate rather than generous. Food had obviously been standing under a heat lamp & could have been warmer, but it was tasty.

We absolutely loved this place. Incredible menu of exciting food. Good vegetarian choice. Also disabled and dog friendly. Rarely get all of this under one roof and usually have to compromise in some way. Also child friendly. WOW!

Come here almost weekly and really enjoy it. Today the food was spot on and the drinks too. What wasn’t up to it’s normal standards was the cleanliness of the place. We were surrounded by dirty table for the majority of our stay simple because staff would bring out other drinks and meals the walk by empty handed. I would like to state that there was one member of staff absolutely grafting. Very colourful hair with tattoos and a great colourful outfit on too (hope You can identify this person with this description. They/she deserves 70% of the other 2’s wages)and is doing about 70% of everything. The waitress (tall blonde, long nails and in blue) seemed to have a problem when asked to help. Didn’t see her clearing many tables and certainly didn’t have the work rate needed to keep up. All in all I will be returning but there absolutely needs to be some direction by leadership and the workload shared. Chaos today which would have been far worse if it hadn’t been for the efforts of the red haired superstar.

We visited Sorbo today for lunch which we do quite often but todays experience was not as pleasant as it usually is we encountered a very rude and unpleasant server she was young and had absolutely no manners or any customer service skills she was very heavy handed and abrupt when handing our meals. But on a positive note it’s one of the best places to eat in chesterfield with very friendly and welcoming staff.

It feels like this place can cater for almost everyone, from mums with babies/toddlers to couples or groups going on a night out. Food is great and kids portions are generous. The kids toys corner is great for the little ones to explore.

Much to our surprise, one of the only places we could find open on a Sunday morning in Chesterfield. A family friendly venue which provided prompt and satisfactory service. Food came out quickly and was delicious.

Food is good in these places and you know you'll always get a table in this one. Compared to some of their other locations the amount of kids changes the atmosphere slightly. It's not really table service, staff are friendly and helpful. But ordering on an app or at the bar. Would be sad to see it close though.
