Good good, Italian, small but incredibly warm and welcoming space, and very nice people serving you. I do recommend.

Cute restaurant with great service. We went last weekend and were served by Yagiz. Pasta was amazing and the server! I recommend the place :)

Hate to say it, but sprinkling some sprigs of rosemary onto a flatbread does not turn it into a focaccia. Very average food in a less than average atmosphere made for an okay-but-nothing-to-write-home-about meal.

Lovely Italian, we had lunch it was very nice.

This restaurant is a disgrace. The service is awful, the waiters are rude and it takes many eons for the food to finally arrive. The pizza tasted like vomit on a plate and the steak was all fat no meat. “Double fries” more like double lies because I got next to no fries. The prices are also unacceptable due to the poor quality of “food” we received. I hope this place gets shut down so no one suffers the way we did

Had a Pizza + salad + wine deal, it was good value for money and quite good as a dinner. Yagiz was our server and he kept filling our water.

We ate our tea here on 13.09.24 and it was delicious. Anyone wanting to experience great tasty well cooked food should give thus place a try. The staff were pleasant and welcoming. There was no pressure no hovering over us just prompt removal of used plates. The food was hot and exactly as described on the menu. Good selection of dishes. Our waiter Yagit was quick and competent and very friendly. Fatos was welcoming as she seated us to eat.

We absolutely loved this restaurant. The food was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and romantic. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt.

I had an excellent experience! The place is clean and nice, with warm music and the service is also very good!

ARRYA has turned Sophie's Italian Restaurant around. Arrya brought in a MUCH FRIENDLIER environment. Arrya greets and remembers the customers and makes them feel welcome, almost at home. I did the same pasta order at its other establishment but Sophie's was the best (and Arrya always remembers my usual order). Ask for Arrya and he will take care of you!!!

Amazing food and amazing atmosphere

A forgettable experience.Chicken scallope Milanese as dry and the whole meal was tasteless. Not seasoned,, the meat was dry. We wondered if it had been cooked in an air fryer? Even the vegetables were bland, no dressing on the salad. My Ravioli Fungi was good and seemed fresh. The zucchini fries were good also. The staff lacked any genuine interest in their guests. We won’t bother returning. There is so much choice in the area - up your game Sophie’s

Lovely meal and yajiz was really helpful

I was very satisfied with my experience at Sophie’s. The Spaghetti Pomodoro was freshly made and the sauce was hot and delicious. The service was polite and helpful. I can recommend this restaurant.

We went to this place thinking of finding real Italian food. We ordered spaghetti with tomato sauce and bolognese, pizza, fried calamari and avocado shrimp... the pizza was edible as were the starters, although bland. The pasta is overcooked, without salt and with a sauce that is too liquid... a disaster, I don't recommend this place as Italians...

Lovely independent Italian, friendly staff, fast service, happy to adjust ingredients (I don't do cream). Highly recommended.

A must place to dine at while in London

Went for a meal in here on a Sunday evening. Service was very slow but eventually, after waiting about 15 minutes, our order was taken. We chose the offer, pizza or pasta, salad and any glass of wine 22.95. The staff had to return to check what wine we had ordered, which was one red, one rose, not too difficult really. The food came and to be fair, my pizza was lovely, very tasty and well cooked with a nice light base, 5 out of 5. My Wife's pasta was a bit bland but ok, a good portion, 3 out of 5. We never got the salad. Service continued to be slow, our plates had not been cleared before we asked for the bill. No one came to check if the meal was ok. Other customers were complaining about lack of order taking, service etc. The bill took a while and was wrong and then changed. It then took us a while to attract their attention to pay. I paid with a credit card and asked for the receipt and the girl couldn't work the machine, so I took the bill instead. We got up to leave and no one wished us good evening or said thanks.... Quite the opposite, as we got out onto the street, in front of other diners on outside tables, one of the waiters rushed out after us and accused us of not paying. I explained we had and pointed to the young lady who had taken our payment and he said she was new. I told him again that we had paid and that it a shame he had not been so quick to bring our salad out!! Eventually he got a thumbs up from inside and he said it was ok, to which I replied is that an apology. Shame as we had seen good right ups of this place, let down by very very poor service. I get they need to ensure no one makes of without paying, but if they had paid better attention to us and the other customers, this would not have happened. A very embarrassing experience for us in front of other customers, very very poor service.

We popped in for a family lunch after visiting the British Museum. Our kids were so happy with the pizza, garlic bread and pasta! Lovely, kind service from our server, Yagiz.

Excellent waiter, Aria! Food was fabulous. We had Pino Grigio, which was light and delicious. However, the lasagna was so amazing as well.

The Spaghetti Bolognese was delightful. The pasta was perfectly al dente, and the sauce was rich and flavourful. The cosy atmosphere and friendly staff made it an excellent choice for a hearty Italian meal.

Went here with two others one evening for dinner. We ordered one margherita, a quattro stagioni, two beers, two tiramisu’s, a chocolate soufflé, and a carbonara. The margherita was fine, quattro stagioni looked and tasted like it was from the frozen aisle at a supermarket, and instead of a carbonara they gave us a chicken alfredo. Additionally, the alfredo was quite substantially less than rich in flavour, soufflé was rather plain, and the tiramisus were soggy. For 750ml of water we were charged £4.75. With the (compulsory? couldn’t tell) service charge, the total was £100.69. Mediocre food, service, and prices. Would only recommend to someone I strongly disliked.

Excellent and authentic Spaghetti Bolognese and Spaghetti Carbonara. Good sized portions. We wrre in a hurry and Fatosh couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. Definitely recommend this place.

Tourist type restaurant++ since it is near the British Museum. It's necessary to eat when you don't plan better by looking before. Disappointed but not surprised. Very disappointing pizza dough. Mixed salad that can easily be made at home and a charcuterie platter that looks like it came out of a store-bought bag given the color.

Food was good. Service was great. Atmosphere fine. 12.5% service charge was a complete surprise. There is/was no mention of any such charge on the menu and Its appearance on the bill was outrageous. Not going back.

I would highly recommend this restaurant when in London,especially if you are going to the Sadlers Wells Theatre,it's just down the road from it!!!

Food was good but waiter was inattentive. He took my husband's empty drink and didn't ask if he wanted another. We finished our food and had to wait over 10 minutes to get the check once we asked for it.

My husband and I were looking for Italian near our hotel. We slipped in to Sophie’s. They were able to seat us quickly, Although you could tell they are a popular restaurant. Our meals were outstanding! They offered a special which included any pasta dish, salad and a glass of wine. My husband ordered the chicken with mushroom sauce. I ordered chicken fettuccine alfredo. It was so good. The service was wonderful. Our server Fatos, was excellent. She was attentive, informative, and made great suggestions. A lovely evening for sure.

We stopped in for a later dinner and were greeted without hesitation. Our table enjoyed the bolognese, carbonara, lasagna, ravioli, and the amatricana. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. Highly recommended!!

It wasn’t so good as Italian . Pizza has lots of cheese and didn’t have any tomato sauce, didn’t taste as pizza , calamari very hard to eat . Not so much cheap . I won’t recommend this restaurant as Italian sorry

Staff is super nice and helpful. Would really recommend if you’re looking for a place with good pizza. Fatos (one of the staff) was wonderful, she’s happy, kind and generous - she gave me a tiramisu in the house and sang me happy birthday (even though I said my birthday was in April and it’s currently the 2 of May)

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in a while. 10/10 definitely recommend!!
