Sorry food really not good. 50% of Duck Tamarind was sloppy fat and inedible. On the positive it was delivered really quickly.

Have ordered take away from here 3 times every time the delivery goes well over the estimated time...30 mins this time. Very annoying service that I will not be using again. Food is great but website is clunky and delivery is terrible@@

Best Thai Green Curry I've ever had!

Second visit (1st was 5*, pork masama, chicken sweet n sour). This time, chicken khao pad rod fai, and duck spicy Thai fried rice. Again, superb quality and quantity. So much food, enough left of each for our lunch tomorrow! Quick preparation, with apologies for the delay (10 min!), with comment "it has to be cooked"! Glad to hear that. Please try it.

Just had another takeaway from Sopar and it was delicious once again. Also arrived steaming hot.

First time tonight. Wow, really great food quality and no complaints about quantity! Cooked in 10 min whilst I waited. Sweet n sour pork, masama chicken curry with jasmine rice. Next time will try the street food bowls.

I have just moved opposite this Thai and I'm so happy it's my local Thai as it's better than most in Brighton it's so delicious with no faults. I love how it wasn't packaged in plastic too! My green Thai curry is so fresh and delicious! I will be back!!

We ordered a takeaway last night. It was easy to order, which is unusual these days. The staff taking our order where super helpful. The deliver was fast and a really friendly guy delivered. The food was fantastic and the prices are great. This is our new most favourite takeout. Thank you X

Best Thai food this side of Thailand. Was recommended this place by friends and have had numerous take aways and deliveries. Food always tastes amazing. Now never order Thai food from anywhere else. WOW WOW WOW 5stars ALL AROUND.. if I could give 50 stars I would. I Actually smiled while eating this. This is the best take away I have ever had. The Ginger and all the vegetables were so fresh. I actually feel good after I have eaten it. I am so used to getting rubbish food on uber. But this food is so tasty WOW amazing chef_chefs 👨‍🍳 when something is this good you should give praise .. Absolutely delicious authentic Thai food. I stopped by for a quick feed, my Phad Thai Noodles with duck were perfect, tasty, hot and the portion size was perfect for one person. The chap behind the counter was friendly and helpful with knowledge of the menu, they seemed pretty busy, but everyone said hello to me even the kitchen staff and the driver! I have a feeling I shall be a regular, krub.

Omg this is the BEST Thai food I've had ever! Infact the best takeaway I've ever had! The food was out of this world extremely fresh full of amazing flavours we had the Thai green curry, Massaman, pad Thai, tamarind Duck, chicken and cashew stir-fry, garlic rice, prawn crackers and I just couldn't fault any of it. I've been to Thailand many times and work as a chef so I know my food. The service was excellent the guy that served us was lovely he even opened the door for us!! Also they are environmentally conscious as they used good quality cardboard containers instead of plastic which I liked. Highly recommend

This is my new Thai food place every week now. Lovely people and as some one has rightfully mentioned that there is some codes around if you click collect or use the ordering app. Monday is: Monday All lower case. I collect so I use: collect all lower case which gets you 15% off !! Is great food.

Just stopped by for a quick late lunch with a friend. Was an absolutely lovely, nice, quiet environment, with extremely amicable staff and of course, ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL FOOD! Thank you So Par. We were even offered a complementary bottle of water. This is easily the best Thai that Portsalde and Hove has to offer.

Ordered our first take away from here in January 22 and it was excellent, Restaurant quality. Ordered for the second time on Valentines day and it was a different experience altogether. I said I'd be there at 7pm. I arrived 10-15 minutes early and it was already sitting under the lamps. After a 5 minute walk home it had to go in the oven as it was only luke warm. It's not a good idea putting warm food directly on top of shredded lettuce, why not a separate bag? The very limp lettuce went straight in the bin. The Spring rolls were almost completely empty, just fried shells of pastry. Fish cakes were ok but I suspect they were probably ready made. Pad thai and Chicken penang curry were ok-ish but completely lacked the fresh tastes I associate with thai food. The chilli rice was an oily mistake and didn't add anything to the meal. Very disappointing after such a very good first meal.

As living a few roads away from this restaurant, and passing by a lot, we decided to give it a go. Very quick delivery ( under 15 mins) and first bite of the Spring Rolls told us this was going to be good. Amazing taste. Main course of Penang curry was sublime - best Thai food we've ever had. So delighted, we ordered again next day !! We often eat in the Thai Restaurants of Hove ( and will continue to do so ) but as a takeaway, this cannot be beaten. Good website too - very easy to navigate.

This is by far the best Thai food I have had outside Thailand. It is utterly delicious... always arrives piping hot and quickly and we have ordered at least once a week since we found it. The kripping stir fry is amazing as are all the curries... we have tried them all!!! I would absolutely 100% recommend them!

Sofar so good is my favourite place for Thai food in Brighton. Everything I've ordered from here has been outstanding and the owners are lovely too. Also props to them for not signing up to UberEats! Happy to support small businesses who are taking a stand for not having their profit margins eaten up by these huge companies. Great food and service, will be back again soon :)

The food took a lot longer to arrive than suggested by Uber eats so I was feeling a bit hangry however this quickly changed. Firstly it was really great to see takeaway food delivered in eco-friendly packaging. I would use this takeaway again just for that reason! However on top of that, the food was really fresh and tasty, piping hot and a generous portion size. 100% recommended!

Wow! This is the word I would use to describe the food that we received this evening! I had an amazing Tom Yum soup that completely banished the cold winter chills and teleported me to the warm beaches of Thailand! My partner had a Pad Thai that also blew her mind entirely and certainly changed her perception of this Thai classic! We will 100% be ordering again and I am certain that it will be all I think about until I get the chance to order again! อร่อย

Amazing. - Food was made quicker than anticipated (less than 20 mins) - The food quality incredible - tasty and good portion sizes at good price - The staff were so friendly - Fresh ingredients - Packaged well and all food was hot and also the crispy bits were all crispy. 10/10 They are new in town, give them a try- see you soon so par so good!

Food was ok, although a bit expensive. I had better curries if I am honest. We got it in 1.5 h which wasn’t great. No complimentary prawn crackers or anything.

Just picked up ( and ate !) Chicken kingprik and garlic rice . Best quality chicken ive had from a Thai EVER ! Flavours good . Nice lemon grass and chilli. Id want a few more fresh chillis ideally but enough heat. So nice to confidentially bite into all the chicken! Compare that to some Chinese or lesser Thai restaurants where you pick through dubious cuts Hopefully quality will continue from this newly opened takeaway.

Really impressed by the quality of the food at this Thai takeaway. Apparently the family previously owned a restaurant in Kemptown. We tried a Green Thai Curry (with Jasmine rice) and Prawn Pad Thai for a main course and Chicken Satay skewers as a starter. Familiar dishes to us so easy to compare - and they rival the best Thai restaurant meals we have tried. Very fresh veg and good value. Liked the cardboard recyclable containers too and service was fast and friendly. Next time we will be more adventurous as they have some unique dishes. Really recommend!

This lovely takeaway just opened not far from our flat and boy are we lucky to be a stone's throw from this place! From my initial call to ask about ingredients used to actually collecting the food and eating it, the customer service is great and the food is better than great, it is divine! I had veg panang curry and it was so excellent. The food was fresh, clean hot and oh so tasty. Thank you Sopar for the wonderful service, smiles all around on collection and food that is out of this world. It's going to be difficult to stay away from this place. The hardy cardboard food containers were also a pleasant surprise and we ate our food out of them as they kept their strength really well. Glad to not to receive our meals in nasty plastic tubs! Highly recommended.

Sopar So Good is a great addition to the neighborhood in what had been a derelict news agent’s! I’ve been excited to try it and was not disappointed. Everything we had tonight (prawn prikking, pad Thai, pork red curry and coconut rice) was really delicious and the portions are generous. The vegetables and meat are very fresh and perfectly cooked and everything was really flavourful and well-represented in the website photos. I’d have added my own but we ate too quickly 🙊 We will definitely order again! Thanks!
