Soo Delicious in Dundee City

Nice food at a fair price. But please get a card machine. My wife had to go in search of a atm when told they only accepted cash. No sign that I could see on entry. Come on proprietor it's 2024 and a cashless world

Had a quick lunch here, brilliant choice on the menu for any diet/appetite and cooked fresh to order. The owner was very friendly and the good was fantastic.

The food took 90 minutes to reach me and when it did, the omelette and chips were absolutely stone cold - I don't been lukewarm, I mean cold. The cold sandwiches I ordered were fine.

Nice cafe close to the station. Enjoyed a nice lorne panini and coffee. Came back later and bought a couple of take out sandwiches. A great find.

Very nice atmosphere, clean. Friendly staff and the name justifies the food Sooooo delicious and big portions, the coleslaw was just the way I like it.

Always a pleasure, nothing ever a problem, nice food great views outside. Full Scottish and a cuppa around 10 quid, can't say faireklr than that.

Full breakfast was excellent, not too much, all piping hot and served with a good mug of coffee. What really makes this place stand out was the service ... Friendly, quick but not rushed, and encouraged to ask for more toast. Top marks, and definitely on the list for places to go back to. Worth noting, it's cash only ... Though there was no drama made over me having to skip out to the cash machine round the corner. Thank you, chaps, good job 👍

Went to look for halal breakfast in Dundee and was informed by the owner that most of their dishes were halal. Tried the chicken and mushroom omelette and it was hearty and delicious. Also had some rice and chicken curry but it was just average. Only setback was it has limited sitting capacity and therefore, need to be early at 8 am if you want to get seats. Definitely, the omelletes was the star here...

The food was amazing! Staff were really friendly and came across like they genuinely liked their job. I'm not a big fan of mushrooms so I asked to just not have it with my meal and they immediately offered to replace it with something else which was so sweet. The food was delicious. I pigged out and got I think it was called the full scottish? I was stuffed. Really glad I randomly popped in. It just smelt good as I was walking buy. Warning seating area is small, so I'm sure it can get quite busy and crammed but it's worth it

Excellent café a short walk from Discovery and Town Centre. Enjoyed breakfast there for 3 mornings. Fast service, good choice, super friendly staff and customer loos. Highly recommended.

Ordered Americano, Hot Chocolate, Chicken and Mushroom Omelette, and Cheese and Mushroom Omelette. We ordered toast along with the omelette. For the price, you are given a great portion of omelette, a small salad on the side, and two toasts with butter. Heard the chicken is halal. However, do ask before you purchase! Overall, it felt homely and great for a breakfast. Make sure you have some cash on you for payment!

Chicken is halal! Reasonably priced and very nice and welcoming gentleman at the till. We had the omelette with a generous and hearty portion. Coffee was good too

Amazing food and excellent service with lovely staff and owners! Worth mentioning this place also does halal meat except for the bacon, delicious and absolutely amazing atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend this place, a real gem.

Good amount of seating in the cafe. Friendly welcome on arrival and I asked for something a little bespoke off the menu which they made for me. Great food and reasonably priced. The food was all freshly prepared and was delicious. Just across from the railway station so in a convenient location. There is some seating outside too if you can drop onto a good weather day!

Foods and coffee was delicious, it was busy but worth wait . The staff very friendly and polite, I ordered oats latte but they run out of oat milk so he decided to give me latte with normal milk it's really good with cinnamon on it 😋. Never expected he gonna gave me free Scottish breakfast just because he forgot to tell me they run out the oat milk . Only except cash payment, I was thought to pay by credit card so I could give more tips for them . But anyway thank you for all your kindness and the delicious meals ❤

Gorgeous wee place in Dundee, the staff couldn't be kinder or more hospitable. Really lovely people, made us feel so so welcome and so at home, I had friends coming to Dundee from all over Scotland and was so happy that I could show them some lovely dundonian hospitality. They really could not have been kinder or friendlier. I'd give 6 stars if I could!! Food was fantastic, super quick service, everyone loved their meals. Will 10000% be back and show everyone I know this lovely wee place!! Thank you all for your hospitality and kindness, we had a fantastic time, I can't emphasise enough how fantastic the staff are!

First of all portion size is terrible for the price bacon was rock solid black pudding was that thin it must have been cut with a laser the hash brown and tattie scone were soggy won’t order again

Great breakfast, I had the So Delicious special - you need to be hungry! Cafe was warm & service outstanding. Would defiantly recommend. We were staying in Sleeperz hotel 50 yards away where previous day breakfast was so bad we had to get a refund!

Superb food, fast delivery, and friendly staff.

Food was disappointing. Chips were wet and soggy. Omelette was far too expensive for what it involved - which was very little. The `special breakfast' was pretty poor quality and cold.

I was super impressive today with the man doing table service. I popped in with my little one and he was fantastic with my child with his responsive and positive vibes as well as with any other child who entered the premises. He even offered free lollipops to children who ate all their food. Just bring cash though as it is cash only. Thank you!

Your a stupid place I went on to just eat app for a second you were taking orders but check again 3 mins and now you're closed you are stupid thanks a lot for doing that

Ordered at 1130 didn’t arrive till before 1pm , food was cold when opened it , chips were soggy, soup was lukewarm everything had to be reheated for over 20 quid was disappointed

Went here for breakfast on a day out to Dundee. We enjoyed our food but when it came to pay with card the proprietor had a rant about wanting cash as the cost of using card machine was too expensive and it had caused other cafes to close down. He appeared very angry, not a nice experience nor advert for the city Later we noticed he had overcharged my card by 15% more than the menu price.

Decent wee ( very wee) cafe. Run by some lovely Turkish lads. Went midday after visiting Discovery with three very hungry children. Food arrived quickly and the staff were very friendly. Food was cafe quality, unpretentious, and designed to stop you being hungry, not impress Gordon bloody Ramsay. ( Some of the reviewers here need to get a grip with their expectations) but cooked to order and prices were reasonable for a city. Oh, and their milkshakes were EXCELLENT. Gave the kids free lollipops when we left, which was a nice touch. I hadn't read the reviews, and as others have pointed out, it's CASH ONLY!

This place is a wee hidden gem that myself and my partner stumbled upon whilst meeting up during his break from work 😊 what you get for your monies is pretty epic in portion size, I had the so delicious spicy burger which was huge and tasty 😋 my partner had a so delicious special breakfast (all day breakfast btw!) And the staff were lovely and even gave us a complimentary treat at the end, would go back to try more things 😊

Dishonest huckster business that tries to charge you for cheese they didn’t tell you was extra and then try to pretend they don’t take card. A level of conscious dishonesty clearly designed to catch out-of-towners coming from the nearby train station.

The waitress took the wrong order, I got a chicken sandwich instead of the salad, the worst part was that a small spider crawled out the sandwich… sick dont eat here just wasted money!!

this used 2 be a good place 4 food, i ordered a baked potatoe chilli con carne + it came in a polyester container which melted + fell apart as 4 the tuna wraps even the bairn said thats not nice utter rubbish wont be back enjoy your money

Had a breakfast roll for 5.1£ that had 1 piece of a small sausage and an egg. The sausage only covers 1/4th of the sandwich, It's a ripoff Would not recommend the breakfast rolls. Maybe the other food is good but the rolls are too expensive for what you receive
