Good Atmosphere decent beer bit on the expensive side and a bit loud

The atmosphere was a wee bit dull, but it was a Tuesday evening so I can't really place blame on the bar for that. Had a cheeseburger and it was pretty good, better than a lot of pub food burgers for sure. The guy working the bar was really polite and helpful too.

Went in Friday 28th February fir a drink. Purchased a pint of Guinness a bombay sapphire gin with a bottle of slim line tonic charged £10.05. Then purchased another pint and gin on its own charged £9.90. Queried this with bar staff and was told that prices are set on the till. So pay more for less Very expensive won't be back .

I used to frequent the place back in the Globe days, so when I’m home in Dundee I always stop in for old times sakes…..but the £6 pints may just put paid to any rose-tinted memories. That’s a tad excessive for a pint in Dundee…do they think it’s London?? Bar staff were totally nice.

I met my brother for a pre concert drink. The place was very busy, and the atmosphere was very good. The bar staff were excellent, quick to serve, polite and friendly.

Cozy place with extremely nice and caring staff. Went there for a pint or two with colleagues and decided to grab a bite (being vegan with strong IBS) here as the menu seemed good and the staff nice. IBS, milk allergy and being vegan was handled with excellence and knowledge which is rare so kudos to the team (also the kitchen!) and thanks for the lovely night ❤️

Been going to trades for the last year to meet friends and we asked the girls were was good up the Westport to go and she said that Mollys was great, don’t know if I’ve just come in on the wrong day but it was not my cup of tea, toilets were dirty and smelled from the minute you staring going down the stairs, we ordered food but was not good, chips were cold and looked like they had been double cooked, fish was overdone, I think this place is more suited to young people and for night time

Great wee place, has a history that goes wayyyy back, which I remember. I wasn't sure that it could live up to this, but pleased to say that the warmth was still there The staff were very friendly and efficient... I'm not sure they were prepared for our roudy crowd, but they managed no problem and with a smile. Food by all accounts was plentiful and delicious.

Super rocks every weekend with live band.

Nuestro perro se hizo sentir como en casa y el personal el sábado por la tarde era fabuloso! No podía faltar el servicio! y el pub estaba limpio y ordenado. Sin duda volvería cuando visite Dundee.

A very welcoming pub with enthusiastic staff and great live entertainment, I really enjoy coming into molly malones. The service for food was very timely and sufficient and my haddock goujons and fries were just perfect I will be returning

El de Aberdeen te pega las manos, es el peor pub en el que he estado, en mi vida, y tengo 77 años, de hecho, la mierda le está haciendo un favor, uno hubiera pensado que aprendería. Really nice pub with decently priced food! Plenty of parking nearby which was brilliant and you don’t need to enter the LEZ. Would recommend the steak pie.

Visited with friend this evening. Served by Lewis who was very friendly and attentive. Service and atmosphere are always spot on in this pub. We both enjoyed lovely food and drink. Will always enjoy time spent at Molly Malones, thank you to Gavin and Lewis 👌😊

What a great bar for drinks, the live musician who played was excellent, he really set the mood and made it a great night. The bar staff were very quick at serving and didn't have you waiting long at all and the prices were great in comparison to other venues. Definitely worth a visit on a Saturday evening if you're looking for drinks and some live music. Will definitely visit again.

This was hideous .. the food was nothing short of disgusting !! I would not feed it to my pets!! The service was awful and no cutlery supplied until we asked! Never again!!

Myself and hubby just had delicious food here. Food came quickly and service was perfect. We used the app which was very easy to use. A nice friendly pub with a good atmosphere. Bar staff all very friendly and very helpful. Satisfied customers. We'll definitely be back 👍

went to Molly Malones in Feb 2024 for something to eat in the evening, the staff were very friendly and quick and the food was nothing short of excellent, my wife had the burger and said it was the best burger she has ever had ! considering she is closer to 60 than to 50 thats a major statement as she has had a few burgers over the years. I myself had the irish stew and again one of the best stews ive ever had, and i too have had plenty . now it may be out of a massive catering tin for all i know ? if it is then i want the name of the brand so i can stock up :) if its home made then respect to the chef, one last thing......the prices are excellent, will def be back very soon

Went to Molly Malones quite a few times a couple of years ago when we were staying close by. So glad we went back this afternoon. It has everything you want from a pub, friendly staff, good pint and great bar food. My wife and I both had the katsu chicken burger, it was delicious. Well priced at £11.95 as well. We’ll definitely revisit this bar the next time we’re in Dundee. 👍

Not the best atmosphere for a bar but not bad. Bar is clean, staff are usually friendly but the best thing is the food!!! The steak pie is just brilliant though it could do with more veg.

Brilliant wee pub... Went in for lunch yesterday and ended up staying for a good few hours, food fab and the bar man was a total legend... Talkative, helpful and really nice guy. Reasonable prices too. 👍

Brilliant food AKA the fish and chips, It’s got a really nice vibe overall of a traditional pub, but upgraded to suit the times. Definitely a place to watch the footy. The only negative for this place, is that the drinks are definitely overpriced. Remember buying two drinks for a friend and I and it cost up to 15 pounds. Shameful.

Excellent food, well present and the member of staff was very attentive. Highly recommended venue. would advise anyone to give it a go and try out the food and location.

This was the second visit to celebrate the festive season and again the service, food and overall experience was fantastic. Gavin was superb and really made the event go with a real swing. We ordered a wide range of starts, mains and deserts which were all excellent. Looking forward to visiting again throughout 2024.

This is the second Bellhaven pub we've been to this week with a great selection of beer, especially the Bellhaven Best Bitter.

Visiting Dundee, enjoyed lunch here today & manager mentioned music 🎶 tonight. Very relaxed happy groups meeting friends , excellent regular musician sharing songs they loved with room to sing along to & move in - or just chat. My glass of Glenkinchie another happy memory of a good time. Thanks 🎶

Had an amazing time at Molly Malones! Lewis made me feel like family with his exceptional service. He even helped me get an extra student discount on our bill. Great food and added bonus of live music

Had a great relaxing meal with the family. Ross behind the bar was so pleasant and friendly with the kids. The chef, think her name was Gloria I overheard someone say made some delicious food.

I had the battered halloumi bites and they tasted very fishy, so I assume they were fried in the same oil as the battered fish, not very enjoyable as a vegetarian option. The chips were good but overall food took a while to arrive.

Three of us in our 60's and one in her 50's went in here after a meal out and the place was busy with a great atmosphere. A lot of young people having a good time. The live music was excellent

A nice pub never had food menu looked good only stayed for one drink 2vodka can diet coke and half pint Guinness £15 we are from Aberdeen the oil capital never paid that much going by prices have to will not return

Visited Molly Mallones with a group of friends for an early evening meal . We were welcomed by staff and promptly served drinks. Peroni for all. Not long a wait until delicious food was served. A couple of steak and Guinness pies and Cheiftan burgers were our choice and did not disapoint. Staff were friendly and a good atmosphere made it an enjoyable time.

Lovely bar in the West End area of Dundee. It's always been a popular pub, I worked there 30yrs ago when it was the Globe. The name has changed but the same friendly, busy atmosphere is just the same. Nice, clean, Tudy pub with friendly service. Cheers

2 lovely meals as we watched the First Ashes Test. The service was quick and the wait staff were very hospitable. The sausages and mash was wholesome and very tasty. We would recommend this pub.

My brother and I had a lovely meal in your pub we are from Liverpool visiting our relatives in Carnoustie we stayed at dundee travel lodge which was a 5 minute walk from your pub food was beautiful staff very friendly thank you for your hospitality

Rude staff tried to get a drink here and barmaid refused drink. I was buying for friends and and she said no as was complained that she served people before me. Was not even drunk as was on coke but refused service.

When visiting dundee for a couple of nights I found this pub online and the reviews were really good. We both had the fish and chips (was one of the best I have had for pub grub) and was delicious, just sorry I couldn’t manage a dessert. The staff were really friendly and attentive and the prices are average. If I am ever in this area again I would definitely visit again…...highly recommended.

Our bartender Helen served us first, was great service and a good chat. Later on in the evening we were served by a lovely young woman with red hair (think her name was AG), great banter, Laura was also a great laugh, service fast and...

Visited for the live music which was fantastic johnny scullion was playing. Great drinks range especially the rum selection lots of choice. Reasonable prices would highly recommend to visit on your night out in dundee.

Great atmosphere, live music, reasonable prices, toilets down stairs not easy to access, beer quantity could be better the Guinness was far to cold, when discussed with staff told we only sell extra cold, it left hardly any impression within the glass as l drunk it, also tried Belhaven original a gassy smooth beer but taste nice, the staff were lovely friendly hard working served quickly with a smile, l would recommend this pub will visit again

Wonderful pub for an early dinner. My son and I ordered two of the specials: the Irish stew and the Steak and Guinness pie. Both were very tasty. We ordered the loaded chips with duck and hoison. OMG, that was delish!! Forgot pictures because we were so focused on eating the meal.
