DISGUSTING....!!!!!!! ... PAID FOR A HAM SALAD....... GOT 6 STRIPS OF SPAM!!!!!..... Spam salad with lettuce, and a bit of red cabbage..... £4.90.....!!........a chicken wrap with no chicken!!! ALL WENT IN THE BIN I DEFINITELY WON'T BE BACK....!!!!!! SHOULD BE REPORTED TO WEIGHTS & MEASURES...!!!!

Food took 2 hours to deliver and also food was cold and chips where hard binned most of it

For the love of God get a card machine!!! You would think it’s in a backwater like Fair Isle…. Though no cash machine in Springfield makes it even dumber. Cash only, or inflated cost/fees on Food Hub. About faced, and went elsewhere.

After driving 3 hours to Gretna from Yorkshire, I was shattered and got into me hotel room. From there it was 10:15 at night and every takeaway was shut, rubbish for a Friday night.... but Solway Pizzeria was the only place open so thought I'd give it a go! Brilliant service to my hotel with delivery in about 30 minutes, the food was lovely quality for a takeaway too, the chips were proper chips!! Not nasty oily takeaway ones! The pizza was beautiful and well made and the burgers were great. After a long drive and everywhere shut can't thank Solway Pizzeria enough for the service!

Had a Shish Kebab tonight. Probably the worst I've ever had. Meat was as tough as old boots. Shame because food has been OK before.

Munchybox was terrible. Chicken pieces were burnt and rock hard. Had a few of these previously and they were nice but won't be buying another. Pizza was OK but nothing special

Ordered at 23.36 for home delivery and they cancelled even though last order is 20 minutes before closing time which is 00.00. Gave me some spiel about high number of orders. Next time I'll go elsewhere 👍

Ordered it at around 11pm and said it was delivered my 12:10pm and is now 40 minutes late and we keep ringing the building but no pick up, waited an hour and 40 minutes for nothing DONT recommend!

On the way to catch the late night ferry to Belfast so fancied a pizza to keep me going on the last leg. Solway Pizzaria is tucked away on the Main Street in Gretna Gree (NOT Gretna!). Busy wee place, obviously popular. Good menu, somewhere to sit while they make your pizza, which was piping hot, tasty and a good price. Just what you need for when you're stuck behind an hgv on the A75!

Great pizzas and chicken kebabs. Never disappointed. A returning customer. Pizzas tasty and plenty of mozzarella. Chicken kebabs the best I've had locally.

POOR customer service. Order was wrong and when the girl on the phone openly said she “might”have heard me - which she did he still refused to do anything about it. So left with food i cannot eat? Don’t work with phones if you cannot listen but I guess it’s ok because tonight she hasn’t made 1 mistake so it is possible. 100% lost my custom 👋

If this could get 0 stars it would. We paid extra for deep pan it wasn't, very very little topping on both pizza and very dry dough like it's been sat out for hours. Absolutely disgusting waste of money pizzas are now in the bin, food hub and the owner couldn't care less asking for the pizza back but wouldn't go digging in my bin for it back and neither was I. Just keep taking the locals money but remember we keep you going. Stay clear Absolutely raging. Absolutely disgusting gave this another try it was cold, dry and like cardboard avoid at all costs !!!

Ordered a munchie box with salad no salad arrived and it tasted re cooked very dire and cold food will never order from this place again. Went in bin but phoned to tell them first. Use to love this takaway not anymore

Phoned my order in and it was hot and fresh when collected at the appointed time. Served by a very pleasant friendly owner of Solway Pizzeria.

Probably the best kebab I've had in 20-years, quick service, friendly staff, will be making this my choice going forward with the extra journey

I wasn't too impressed with the Kabob meat. I wished it had been better. Will probably try it again, to see if they improved from our first experience.

I received the wrong order then sent me a replacement order and that was wrong all I ordered was a cheese garlic bread and the kept putting donner on everything and now they have stopped answering phones that seems convenient

Love this takeaway! I live about 10/15 miles away and drive to go and get it, so worth it! Everything is always cooked to perfection, staff are lovely and everything is priced really well.

Got a munchie box containing chips, chicken in spicy batter, kebab meat, garlic mayo etc Taste and look of it, save for the chips, were really awful and bad quality. Was violently sick within few hours of eating it and am still not feeling ok several days later. Pizzas were also ordered which were horrible cheap dough and lots and lots of rubbery cheese/cheddar. Almost no tomato sauce. Each family member who had them could only manage one slice each. Beware!

Very rude staff after burnt and 1 hour late delivery.

Ordered 4 pizzas but when I opened mine half of it was burnt. If I wanted a burnt pizza I would have asked my boyfriend to cook me one!

I feel duped.. I find it hard to believe that this places gets the reviews it does. We got chips from here - wouldn't chance anything else. From the outside the place just looks like a shed. Inside looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. Dirt and grease on the walls, bits of food on the floor and the pizza ovens looked like they hadn't been cleaned. Whilst making someone else's pizza, the guy making it was just burping away and coughing without covering his mouth. The chips... They were just a frozen bag of chips chucked in. The chips had wee black dots all over them, pretty sure that indicates the oil hasn't been changed in quite a while... They went straight in the bin 🤢 I definitely wouldn't recommend eating from this place, if you're thinking about it go and visit for yourself.
