Had a lovely meal here tonight celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary, wonderful food, wonderful staff

Absolutely lovely staff. The fillet steaks and Vegetables were beautiful.

Food was excellent and the service was brilliant. Would definitely recommend.

Never ever had a problem in here before. Been in many times and never had this experience. There was 5 of us, 2 of us left earlier. So we paid our half of the bill at the bar. (We normally get table service) The Manager took ages to take my 2 drinks and fries to be paid for. He carried on with saying”Thank you more your patience my system is playing up”. Which I replied “that’s fine”. He then got it to work which I PAID my £17, which is still shown on my bank statement. After we have left, our 3 other friends stayed for more drinks. They then got there bill and the manger turned round and had the audacity to say “we still have £17 to pay of the bill”. So basically trying to make out that us 2 had left and not paid our bill. He made our friends stay in the restaurant till they paid the “£17”. SCAMMER! Really used to love this place and thought it was a great atmosphere with great food. But this experience was not good.

Food was gorgeous, background music just at the right volume, amazing staff felt like we'd known them for years, we will be back.

Just had the best roast in Liverpool, had the 2 course menu with cheesecake for dessert. Staff were lovely, food was amazing, will be back!

Best steak in the area. I can't comment on the other food because we like the steak so much that we always order it. The manager's lovely and really helpful as well. Desserts aren't home made and not that good

I just had the best steak I’ve ever had in Liverpool! This place is beautifully decorated with a really cozy and welcoming vibe. But the real star was the tomahawk steak - it was perfectly cooked and just melted in my mouth. I’d go as far as saying this is the best meal I’ve had in the city! The staff were amazing too. They were friendly, knew their stuff about the menu, and made our night even better. You’ve got to check this place out, whether you’re a local or just visiting. Trust me, it’s worth it!

We were there this weekend gone (August Bank Holiday) for my mum's 80th birthday. The staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble for them even to the point of going to their sister restaurants nearby to allow the vegans in the party to have a bigger choice of food options. All the staff were great and a big special mention to Vicky who seemed to be immediately on hand to help whenever we needed.

We had a birthday meal for my partner and our families last weekend (14 people altogether). The food was delicious and service was superb. We didn't have to wait long for food. The music wasn't loud so you could talk with others which I think was a great plus. Everything was perfect. We'll definitely go there again. Thank you very much.

Great service and atmosphere, but unfortunately the food was terrible. Ordered a medim-rare fillet steak but came out well done. The waitress was great and sent it back but the next steak was still well done with no seasoning on the steak. I cant reccomend this place as there are much better steak resturaunts for less money.

We booked for a party of 24 and we had an amazing time. Staff we very helpful and helpful. The food was delicious everyone loved it, they all enjoyed the choice they made and a lovely evening was had by everyone. We will be back soon.

Went here tonight for meal, ordered 1kg tomahawk steak, and solasta meat platter, and starters, food was 10 out of 10, tomahawk was cooked perfectly and was probably one of the best steak I've eaten, the waiter who served us, Alex, was brilliant, and I'll definitely be coming back, well done to all the staff and chefs, keep up the great standards and work,

Lovely restaurant with great, tasty food from a surprisingly varied menu for a Steakhouse. Attentive, friendly staff enhance the meal. Competitive pricing in a tiroughly pleasant ambience. We've been twice this week and will be going again soon.

Booked a table for 9 for family celebration, we had the best time. Food was absolutely amazing, waiters were very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble and again, food was just wow, everyone had different dish and everyone was happy with their choice. We'll definitely be back!

Had Xmas day meal here at 5pm . We walked in and had to wait 39 minutes as the table wasnt set or ready. There was no table service snd had to go get my own drinks and que at the bar due to them being greedy and over booking. They did not have enough staff on for the customers they were catering for Waited a hour for the starters to come out only to find they were cold snd wernt edible. Waited another hour from the poor starters, for our mains which came out and was even worse . There was two small potatoes on the plate with cold meat and a rock hard baby carrot. My partner ordered a well done steak only for it to come out rare she sent it back and it came out again rare three times . They ended up cutting her steak into small pieces to get it well done like you would on a kids dinner . Embarrising Overall experience was expensive and not to any standard , no table service , cold food and severely understaffed.

Unfortunately the worst dining experience we’ve ever had and to have it on Christmas day makes it worse. This is no fault of the serving or bar staff and more of the organisers. We booked our party of 10 in in September and confirmed the booking 4 times since then, both in person and over the phone, however we showed up on the day to find there was no booking for us. 2 hours after our original booking time we were having our starters. Then came the main which is what I have attached a photo of, we were told that there was no beef left so turkey was the only option, this was how it was served to us, this was their Christ Dinner that we were being charged £60 per head for. One potato cut in half, one small carrot cut in half and the driest turkey I have ever experienced and absolutely no trimmings at all. The atmosphere was awful, when we walked into the restaurant another customer told us not to bother and that everyone in there was kicking off and people were crying. When it came to the bill we were told our drinks would be free, that was only 2 rounds of drinks which we said simply wasnt good enough and that the food was awful. We still begrudgingly paid £45 per head as we felt bad for the staff who’d had to spend their xmas day working in the most unorganised mess we’d ever seen. It was unfortunately clear that they had attempted to purely maximise profits by massively over booking themselves, there were still tables showing as available on their site when we arrived and they genuinely ruined Christmas Day for us. Will never return and I strongly advise you not to visit either.

Christmas Dinner sadly not up to scratch. No fault of the servers and waiters but potatoes and veg were cold, despite me having the steak i wasnt asked how ibliked it cooked...plus my son only ate his dessert yet we were charged £60 a head!! He had no starter or main and my wife ate no main as the turkey wasn't nice sadly. Wouldn't go back at all now after that experience and not much taken off the bill despite multiple complaints from all the other tables too.

Came here for my birthday meal whilst we were staying in Prescot. It was probably the best meal I’ve ever had in a restaurant! The steak was cooked to perfection and the service was exquisite. Absolutely beautiful would highly recommend to anyone looking for a steakhouse.

Came here 22nd October 2022 for my mums 80th birthday food was excellent drinks excellent and the staff very attentive even the owner was over at our table nice guy would highly recommend this restaurant it’s got a great atmosphere we all had steaks cooked to perfection will come again .

Visited here last night for the first time and was very happy to discover a fantastic restaurant in Huyton. The fillet steak was delicious and so was the little slice of lamb shank that I managed to convince my friend to let me steal from her! Good prices for the quality food and friendly service, will definitely be returning soon.
