The coffee is good the service is very good but the crushies have been absolutely disgusting they have no taste and are a waste of money they need to be stronger they are basically expensive water

Very dark and extremely slow service. We had mango and passion fruit drinks. No taste so my friend went back and said which the reply was that is how it is made so she asked for more flavour to be put in. Absolutely no better and at nearly £4 a glass a total waste of money

Terrible service. Took 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive. When arrived, was told they were soon closing so was served my cake in a take away bag. We had been waiting nearly half an hour so I didn't appreciate the hint that we should soon leave. Very disappointing

Very welcoming place, tasty breakfast options to eat and very friendly staff. Good options for take away. Lovely chill music and well located for a easy grocery shop after.

Went in during our holiday to the cotswolds for breakfast and it was amazing! Had the breakfast baps and they were so delicious 🤤. The service was quick and friendly as well, really couldn’t fault the place! Kept going back in after that for a drink after our days out!

Stale sandwiches, Luke warm coffee. Staff useless run by undetermined students who don't give a toss

Slow service, cooking food, but actually, the food was spot on when I got it. Coffee wasn't decent too. Reasonably priced. I'd go back.

Only 2 choices offered in gluten free cakes/biscuits, both pre-packaged, not fresh. I couldn’t eat one of these, because of an ingredient I can’t eat. I didn’t like the other option. I asked if I could eat a gluten free item I had just bought in Budgen’s, and was told I could not. If you operate this sort of policy, you really need to make better provision for your customers, including those with food intolerances and allergies.

Just all round unhelpful and getting orders wrong. Rude staff, Answering you back. Have they never heard the saying. The customer is always right.. Just don't go here. My advice. I certainly won't be back!!!

I waited at the counter to be served, no one else was in the queue and there were 4 members of staff behind the till. Not one member of staff acknowledged me. After finally giving a lady my order, I waited and waited....by this time other people were joining the queue and other staff members started serving. Once I received my drink, it was lukewarm. I went back to the counter and everyone ignored me? Trying to get the ladies attention who made it, I said I was really sorry (I don't know why I apologised), but my drink wasn't hot, could she please just warm it up slightly. Taking my drink, she turned around and said, 'we don't make them hot because it'll ruin the drink'. Very odd... She started to reheat it but kept it under the steamer for such a long time, when she returned the drink to me it was scorching hot and I couldn't drink it. She was probably being petty because I'd commented on the drink. I couldn't be bothered to say anything again after my previous comments so I left. I don't know why the lady didn't just apologise and do a regular hot drink? Such a shame as I've been here before and it was always ok. However, from the ladys attitude, I will not be returning. Plenty of better cafes in Moreton with 2 new ones coming later this year.

Have been a couple of times here. The service is variable, and on the whole quite slow. The place is very dark and dull, and feels cramped. Called on a Sunday morning just before Christmas, and used the gents toilets prior to going in. These were filthy and untidy - the sink had obviously not been cleaned for some time, there was damp, dirty toilet paper all over the floor and the place looked grubby. I tried to find someone in the store to inform (this cafe is in a Budgens store) The only staff were the young "weekend" cashiers.

Visited this branch for quick morning bite to eat however as per other reviews the service was a bit slow and less than enthusiastic. My order of a triple bacon and egg roll when delivered to the table was wrong as the egg was missing. When brought to the attention of the staff I was told that ‘I only ordered a triple bacon roll’ - I was unenthusiastically offered a egg for the side, but saw little point as the roll would be cold by the time it was cooked. Made to feel that I was more of an inconvenience to the staff member rather than a paying customer.

We entered the cafe at approx 11.28am and was told we were too late to have the breakfast bacon & egg roll - they just seemed keen on getting rid of the pre prepared bacon baguettes! My till receipt says I paid at 11.34am after ordering and waiting for coffees so I know we would have been in before 11.30!! I had to queue again to get the sauces and condiments. There was a hair in my pastry - all in all a miserable experience, the staff were unapologetic. Would it be better to have the sauces etc available on the customer side so we can help ourselves? Wont be in a hurry to go back.

Popped in for a coffee while the car was being cleaned. My caramel latte was perfect and just what I needed to wake myself up on this rainy and windy morning. I will return in the future. Friendly and very quick service. I’m a fully qualified barista and I don’t understand why everyone says the staff are slow. Coffee, made properly is time consuming and needs to be made with care to perfect the crema and the milk combined I think some people need a little patience 👍🏻

Like the reviews before me, this coffee shop was terribly slow. We tried it one day and gave up, but came back the next day because nothing else was open. The breakfast sandwich was pretty good, but the service was not good.

Pop in here intermittently, after shopping or whilst waiting for the car to be washed outside Budgens. Good friendly service, & a good range of coffees, lattes& light snacks & pastries.

Loads of staff all standing around, takes about 15 mins to get a drink after you get thrust a large number to go and sit down with, totally stupid idea just a further delaying tactic.No idea at all as to how its done staff should visit Neros where they do know what they are doing !

Im not sure what the problem is with this place except that theu are poorly run. Dropped in for 2 takeaway cappuccinos and waited for almost 15 minutes. The place was not unduly busy only 18 customers- but the 2 staff and manager were running around like headless chickens. This was not our first poor experience here. The coffee was also poor, bitter and not made well. This could be a good coffee shop if only it was run properly. I own a coffee shop in a nearby town and would be mortified if my customers were treated in the same way that Soho do. Saddened...

Popped in for a black coffe whilst my car was being washed. I queued for 15 mins whilst the assistant moved as slowly as she possibly could behind the counter, moving empty cups and not actually making or proparing any drinks. In that time I decided to order porridge. The girl didn't know what that was. I e planned, she looked blank, I pointed to the pots, she said 'oh yes' then she Couldn't find them on the till so said she couldn't sell me one. I ordered my coffee and waited, waited, waited a bit more. Then I enquirerd and asked for my coffee to take away. In all, 35 mins for a small black coffee to take away, accompanied by a total lack of comprehension as to why I was getting irritated. Terrible.

Sooooo slow! Latte was horrible... sweet?! And it seemed very expensive for the smallest take away coffee. I love Budgens, but what a disappointment this coffee shop is! Sorry - avoid, there's plenty of great places to enjoy a good coffee in this pretty town.

As I live locally I often call into Soho coffee shop before doing my shopping in Budgens. The service is sometimes a little slow, they could do with more staff, but the coffee is very good as is the food and the staff are always very friendly.Would be nice is they knocked through and had an outside area at the front of the store.

Called in for coffee and bacon sandwich whilst my car was being washed, didnt have the bacon sandwich as theyd run out of white bread and rolls before 10am!!!! This place is in a supermarket for gods sake go and but some bread!!!!!!!!! As for the sloooooow service, waited 6 mins for order to be taken and i was only one waiting to order and only 5 people in the place

How long does it take 3 people to make one cup of coffee - 15 minutes if this place is anything to go by! Somebody should give some staff training!

I have tried the Soho coffee shop in Budgens three times and each time I have had to wait between 5-10 minutes for a coffee. Twice was not even acknowledged as I was the first person in line, with the third time I just walked out in front of the 5 customers behind me, who also were not happy. Will not be going back again.

I've been to this place hundreds of times, and every time apart from a few, the customer service is none existent. They simply don't care about keeping people waiting, and being very forward about saying so too. It's their way or the highway. And then there are the long waits for a simple coffee! If there was another coffee chain to compete this place would be empty. Shame, as soho has excellent coffee.

Popped in for breakfast whilst visiting town, had a bacon sandwich and a coffee, nothing fancy, but both the food and drink were very tasty. Staff were friendly and service was efficient.

Lots of coffee shops in Moreton-in-Marsh, but we ended up at the end of the High Street, and thought we could pick up something quick and warm.Training of new personnel is a great thing, but all though not too much activity when we were ordering everyone behind the counter seemed to be quite occupied, and our warm wrap (which was a bit of a guessing game - no clear markings on the packaging) was a bit of a disturbance and took its time.

Great place , very good coffee, and the best bacon rolls and sausage sandwiches in the planet . Good selection of juices and fruit bowl, yogurt, etc and sweets and cakes, mostly local produce. Inside budgens store

We stopped here for the second time recently, it was a Friday lunchtime and quite busy. Our coffees were some of the best we have tasted - great flavour & perfect temperature.A good selection of "trendy" food is available and prices were very reasonable. Will definitely call in again when passing.

Stopped here on my way through Moreton into the Cotswolds and really pleased I did. Staff were really friendly, food was great and good value.

We visited Soho coffee / sandwich bar for the third time. Arriving around 2.00pm they had little left in the way of sandwiches. I picked a chicken & bacon sandwich, my husband chose ham & cheese melt, we also ordered 2 coffees. There was only 5 people in place, most near finished with their coffees, it was very quiet. The young man & girl behind the counter could have won a snail race, we waited around 10 minutes for the coffee to arrive which wasn't even hot, the panini seemed to be remembered when another couple came in and ordered a panini, it then was put in to heat up. On my third request for some mayonnaise it was banged on the table, I asked could I have a knife to go with it, which seemed to go unheard, I actually went to find one myself 5 minutes later. The thing that puzzles me is in this type of business, you really need to be somewhat pleasant & efficient, if you dont like the job you do, then go get another one! Serving people whilst looking miserable and being lapsed, really isn't a great attitude to have when people are paying £13.00 for 2 sandwiches and coffee! There are many many more establishments that are looking for customers! This place is now Off our list, we won't be returning for tepid cappuccinos & miserable service. Please note when you see the price on the sandwiches, make sure you look at the very small writing below which gives you another price to eat the sandwich in the restaurant.

Freshly opened today, a super little café inside Budgens on the High Street. Contemporary décor, good selection of hot and cold snacks and tempting cakes and pastries. Something for the kids, snacks for the calorie conscious and delicious goodies for those who want to indulge. Very pleasant surroundings to sit and enjoy a bite to eat. So refreshing to find a modern cafe in the Cotwolds - so many are olde worlde and "twee"!. I can see before long that they will have to extend! I wish them all the best in their new venture. I shall certainly be making a return visit.
