Wonderful little restaurant attached to the wonderful Salisbury boutique hotel. Food was really good for its money and the staff were really lovely.

if you ever need a big and full plate of delicious lebanese food i recommend this restaurant with a wonderful staff! I have no words to describe how professional these people are in this beautiful restaurant

If you need a restaurant with a table with four chairs like you get in a chain, this ain't it! Instead, picture low coffee tables with deep armchairs to wrap around you, subdued lighting, mournful Arabic love-songs and hubbly-bubbly shisha-pipes with sweet scented smoke clouds to make you feel you're just off a square in old Beirut. The food is, quite simply, excellent. We had the mezze --- I would marry the chef for the hummus, the wife for the baba ganoush! (Either way, the chef is out of luck!) Main courses were equally good --- unfortunately they didn't come supplied with a second stomach! I could have certainly done with the extra space. LOVED the red wine --- apparently Lebanese rosé is also very good! Best of all was the utterly charming Leah who, if I owned a restaurant, I would have offered a job there and then!!! Thank you for a great experience!!

This restaurant is located in the Hampton Inn where we were staying. It was late in the afternoon and they were not busy. Later at night they were quite busy. The food was fresh and delicious.

This place is just lovely! We were led to the heated enclosed eating area in the garden, the atmosphere was so nice. We got vine leaves to share and i got a lamb dish which was so tender and delicious. My husband had mince lamb balls in an amazing sauce. Both came with rice/salad. Staff were attentive and lovely. All round great experience, thanks!

Was shown to some sofas in an open, plastic marquee in the garden of a hotel. The the floor was greasy/slippy and people were smoking shish in the same marquee. I asked for a table away from the smokers, with some proper seats (how am I supposed to eat my dinner off a low coffee table?) and staff shrugged. Staff and atmosphere gave me no reason to support this restaurant when there are many other amazing Lebanese restaurants in Edinburgh.

Best discovery ever. The food is always fresh and super tasty. Portions could be bigger. Some dishes better than others.Would still recommend

Went to Sofias Lounge on Tuesday evening 24 March after 8pm. Very cold evening: temperature just under 3 degrees. Restaurant very cold and draughty. Had to wear my overcoat, as had other customers at only other occupied table. Staff explained “had to leave back door open”, “ no handle on back door”, “people need to smoke outside”, “ can we lend you a rug?” “It’s because we have smoking area” “we have other restaurants”. Staff generally rather disinterested and service mediocre. We finished our meal as quickly as possible. Very uncomfortable. As we left the temperature was -3 degrees. Cannot recommend a visit on a cold day. Their attitude was wrong: one person’s need to smoke should not prejudice the comfort of many others.

We had been there on 25th Dec 2022. The menu was standard because of the day. They had booked a table at the lobby of the beside hotel. All the dishes were very bad but especially the main dish was horrible. We paid 50£ per person. Not worth it.

Found this restaurant in Salisbury Rd whilst looking for a place to eat within walking distance of our hotel. The food was tasty but the wine selection is quite limited. It also offers Shisha but we didn't try that. Staff were friendly and efficient. 80s disco music was not to our taste.

On arrival we were greeted warmly & shown to pre-booked table. Drinks order taken straight away but not delivered for some time. Food order taken eventually and arrived in reasonable time then very long wait & eventually had to ask for dessert menu. We were in the outside lounge - comfortable couches, cushions, heaters on. All very nice but it felt like we were somewhat forgotten about. Next time I’ll sit inside. Food was very tasty but service was somewhat lacking.

I ordered Mediterranean Roasted Lamb and Batat Harra. The meat was so perfectly marinated that I could not stop eating and it was really delicious. A must try!!

So happy that we decided to have dinner to night at the Sofia’s. We really wanted to try Lebanese street food. And it was very tasteful and nicely served and presented. We would, however, have appreciated that the table had been properly cleaned. That is not something that the guest should need to ask for.

I was looking forward to their fries, honestly. I checked the place before arriving in Edinburgh as one option closed to the accommodations with late service. They list "rosemary fries" (or chips, to be brit) I was honestly expecting something different and a bit more than - let me add rosemary on top of the fries... However, their burger was very, very good!! I got the Vulcano burger - no regrets! if you're looking for non-alcohol beverage, I would also recommend the homemade lemonade, a great mix of lemon and mint!

Great place and service. Ordered the “dirty koko” with fries. No regrets. Most places in Edinburg close their kitchen at 9pm. They were opened even though it was after nine.

Food tasted great and the atmosphere was very good. Great place to go with friends. It’s easy to over order as the portions were quite big.

What a great place to eat and relax. The food was absolutely outstanding. The service has been exemplary. Karam has been attentive but not overbearing. If anyone is looking for a few hours of self time come here. We'll be back from South Wales A.S.A.P.

The menu and food is not related to Lebanese food. Batata harra is very spicy in away that ruined the taste of the dish. Terrible pastries! However, the place is nice.

Ordered from the Corstorphine branch and was absolutely amazing! It was good, large portions of food and was SO TASTY! Nice to have something from your usual pizza/burger takeaway. The falafel burger was especially nice! Would definitely order from here again and 10/10 recommend.

Brilliant takeaway from the new Sofia’s in Fountain Park. Delicious smooth fresh hummus, tasty pastries and tabbouleh was excellent. Lamb Kibbeh to be recommended. Family sharing plates for a birthday dinner.
