Found this gem of a place by pure luck. Wandered in with the dog in tow for a coffee and a nose really. We ended up being tempted to try the taco’s and got to say they were awesome!! Then to my utter delight as we were leaving i discovered the sweet treat cabinet displaying my absolute fave delight.. “orange pie” well take a look at the picture, no way i was passing this up. Takeaway it had to be and boy am i glad i did. Absolutely dripping with deliciousness 🫶🏻 We were informed the menu is to change soon and we most certainly be back to sample some more. Thank you so much for an absolute pleasure 😄

Had a fantastic cappuccino , definitely one of the best ever, made by the lovely Michaela. The Seville orange cake is amazing. We will be back to try everything.

It was raining in Morpeth and we needed coffee and a break so settled on Sober on the basis that it looked like something out of the ordinary. Yes, it's a little bit different but none the worse for that as, after all, there are more than enough coffeeshop chains around to employ all those media studies graduates. No wi-fi as you're expected to talk among yourselves - fine with me as I'm part of the vanishingly small percentage of the population who hasn't yet found a reason to carry a phone. Probably not a masterstroke in the real world but good luck anyway. So, good coffee and friendly service - what more could you want? Cake and that was good too.

I didn't really know where I wanted to go for a very quick bite before catching the bus home on a cold October day, when I stopped by the sign for this place that seemed to be the signal I needed. Its hidden up a side alley, but it looks so inviting and walking through the door, warmth enveloped me together with genuine greetings from the staff. With the standard range of hot drinks, were freshly made soup and a menu of creative dishes that I aim to return to try out. Its a lovely spot and serving mocktails and alcohol free local ales - a great idea. I will be back. I'm rating this good today, because it was, but expecting to rate it excellent when I try the tacos next time!

Visited for “late” Sunday breakfast/brunch whilst out for a walk with friends. Pleasant ambiance, good food and accommodating staff…..the type of restaurant/cafe you visit by chance and decide you’ll visit again.

Fab little cafe - excellent food, cosy and fun atmosphere, great staff and very good value. We came here for a weekday lunch and it was steadily busy but not overcrowded, the staff were attentive but relaxed and the food really was lovely, I had soup and a cheese scone (generous portion, perfectly seasoned) and my other half had eggs Benedict and said it was fab. Wishing them lots of success, it’s a lovely place.

Enjoyed everything about this tucked-away café. The food, the ambience and the service. We had a scone, goats cheese salad and Biscoff pancakes between us, as well as drinks including iced coffees. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their choices, especially the coffees. We felt like it offered something a bit different to the other cafés in Morpeth and is well worth seeking out.

This cafe is off the square in Morpeth. It’s lovely the way it’s been created. Bright colours, cute and cosy. We popped in for a drink and some food. There was a very nice and welcoming man working (not sure if it’s the wonder). All of the drinks on the menu are alcohol free. They still do mock tails and non alcoholic beers. We had two iced coffees and two open sandwiches. Both were lovely and we’d be happy to come back again and try some more.

A lovely welcoming hidden gem of a cafe. Lovely modern decor with a great vibe. Staff are lovely and friendly and the food is gorgeous. We visited at lunchtime and had soup and tacos. They also have breakfast and brunch on the menu so will definitely go back to have a try of those. Can’t fault it and a great selection of drinks too. Perfect for singles, friends, families and couples. Although may be tricky for large groups depending on how busy it is, due to the small size. I couldn’t take many photos as it was busy and didn’t want to intrude when people were chatting.

Me and the wife visited here for a full English breakfast , and I must say it’s one of the best I’ve had , food very fresh and hot , caramel latte best ever, and the staff very friendly . Highly recommend, free car park at the rear.

You have to try afternoon tea here! Likely need to book in advance, we were given a great choice of sandwiches when we booked. On the day, we were seated upstairs right by the window looking over the sea, a fabulous view even on a grey winter afternoon. The food was delicious, more than we could eat though we gave it a good go. Good mix of savoury and sweet, some other afternoon teas elsewhere have too much sweet stuff. Suzanne, the owner, and the staff are so welcoming and helpful, and the cost was so reasonable. I highly recommend this place.

What a wonderful place to have a cup of tea! We were visiting the Heritage Centre next door and were taken in by the quirkiness of the idea and decided to have lunch in the carriage. We were greeted by a very friendly and welcoming young man who gave us a few minutes to make our lunch choice. The tea was served in a traditional tea pot in “proper” china tea cups which was just perfect. Our food choices were soup and a cheese scone, ham and cheese sandwich and a sausage and bacon bun, all presented lovely and totally delicious. We were on holiday in the area and wish we live closer as I’d visit all the time. The prices were very reasonable and the service from the staff faultless.

I was recommended the Bari Tea Brewery by a friend and was not disappointed. The range of teas on offer was vast with many interesting flavours! I had the green ginger tea with a scone which was freshly baked and was very tasty! Service was very good and all the staff very friendly.
