I just moved here and have been trying a few Chinese takeaways. I prefer this one than most of the others...Good Grub!

My wife and I always look forward to our So Good night. Food is always well prepared with great portions and a very satisfying taste. We will be back soon.

Tasteless, rubbery chicken with 3 cashew nuts sprinkled on the top. Very disappointing. Won’t order again

Food was cold and late, no contact free delivery despite this being offered. Exceedingly disappointed with service from just eat and resturant.

Chicken n beef was dry flavourless

ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING SERVICE. I RODERED IT AT 6.30PM, AND IT ARRIVED AT 9.10PM, COM0LETELY RUINED MY FRIDAY NIGHT, AND THEY DIDNT EVEN CARE WHEN I CALLED. JUST SHOCKING SERVICE.

Honestly the best chicken satay skewers and shredded chilli chicken I've ever had. Thoroughly enjoyed it

Chips was twice cooked and stale but rest the food was best I’ve had

I ordered beef chowmein and chicken with chilli and salt. The chicken was very greasy and soggy. Won’t order again.

Food as always amazing - just this time to wait 1.5h when at beginning of order it said 35-50 mins was a little too long - i would not have ordered if i knew it would take this long. As well this time we did not get the free items we normally get when ordering over a certain amount. We love the food and we will order again.

Ribs were more bone than meat but apart from that very very tasty food and early delivery!

Chicken satay starter was the best best best 🤤

I phoned the restaurant to say no bamboo shoots in food and also left a note on the order and they still put them in! Also left a note saying no to ring the door bell and to only knock!! They rang the doorbell. Not happy about this.

Lovely Chinese meal, tasty and good size portions. 1st time ordered and would order again. Being Scottish didnt try anything too fancy, stuck with tried and tested sweet n sour chicken and the house fried rice. Spring rolls and of course chips!

Salt and chilli chicken was bland and the pad thai wasn't really a pad thai, I've been to Thailand and it didn't taste like any one I had there. It's meant to be sweet sour and spicy. This one was just spicy

The food was very tasty and hot however my starter and main were both incorrect as not what I had ordered, a real shame as I wanted to try something new.. customer service at Just Eat were very good - decided not to call the restaurant directly as there would be no point in delivering a new order give.n the time of evening.

When my order was delivered, and we opened it all. We soon found that my Dads order was wrong as he ordered a Thai King Prawn Red Curry as he is a pescatarian, what was actually delivered was a beef version which made him unable to eat anything. Which ruined the evening for all.

Our usual wasnt open so we tried this one. Very yummy and will definitely be back. Food came earlier that expected for a Saturday night.

Delivery was good. Ordering was easy. Didn't like curry it tasted very salty. Chicken balls with sweet and sour was really good.

We ordered two main meals and the 2 person starter platter, and everything was excellent! It arrived early but we had put asap as the delivery time so that was perfect for us. Would definitely order from here again

Flavourless chicken wings and pork dish was pretty much all gristle, only good food was the boiled rice. The worst takeaway I've had in a long time.

Good food, 30 min earlier and those spring rolls were as crunchy as those served at a restaurant.

We ordered for Thai food but it was not really Thai food, it was more of Chinese food rather than Thai. The food didn't even taste close to Thai dishes, the ingredients that were mentioned on the menu were not present in the food, like I ordered Thai green curry and one of the ingredient that was suppose to be there was bamboo shoots but there was non in the actual dish and the taste of the dish was horrible too. The food came very late also. Not happy at all and never going to order food from here again.

First time using this chinese- really enjoyable food!

Don't usually so reviews but honestly, absolutely disappointed in my last order. The prawn toast tasted slightly stale, like it was just reheated after being fried. The wontons were atrocious. The amount of prawn(?) wrapped in the pastry was literally no bigger than my index fingernail. It may as well have been just pastry. And the sweet n sour sauce provided with them was far too watery.

Food is absolutely delicious! By far one of our favorites.

Initial delivery time quoted seemed excessive, then it was almost 30 mins late beyond that too, so cold when it arrived. The rice was hard, spring rolls were soggy, as were the chips.

Honestly the worst Chinese I’ve ever tasted. Chicken wings were like they were deep fat fried twice - they were black when you bit into them. Curry chips and rice were cold. Took an hour and a half to arrive aswell.

First time in Edinburgh and first takeaway here too. Service was prompt, restaurant kindly adhered to multiple requests. Food was nice (can’t complain).not the best I’ve ever had but quite tasty and decent value for money. Nothing negative to report from the experience. I would recommend.

I scheduled the delivery for 6.50 p.m and the items were delivered at 6 pm. Chips were cold and seemed old as well. It was cheap enough but I will not be ordering again.

Usually our go to Chinese, best in Edinburgh. This evening ordered duck for a change and the majority of the dish was onions. Pretty much inedible. Won’t be returning in the future unfortunately.

I ordered my food over 2 hours ago - when I phoned the restaurant to ask for an update on my delivery the man on the phone confirmed that my order had been attempted to be delivered and the driver even had photos of my front door. This was not the case and when explaining that in order to have gotten to mv door they would have needed to buzz to be allowed entry. The man at the restaurant then confirmed the delivery driver would call me upon arrival , he did so but again was not at my door. When I explained this to him he then hung up the phone and turned up 10 minutes later to attempt to deliver cold food. When I phoned the restaurant again they confirmed a new order would be made and sent out and apologized for any inconvenience caused. I have never ever experienced such a disgusting service in my entire life. The delivery driver was extremely rude and couldn’t even apologize for his mistake. I have never had an issue with this restaurant before but in all likelihood this will prevent me from ever placing an order again. Food was lovely when eventually received but took around 2 and a half hours

we ordered chicken curry was yum , curry sauce, prawn crackers, spring rolls , bbq spare ribs very meaty yum , prawn cracker was a huge bag and chips all very nice

We ordered a starter of mashed prawns on toast-they were incredibly rubbery and clearly had been reheated having been made at some time in the past. The lemon chicken was bland, despite being covered in a very gloopy sauce. However the other chicken dish was all right. Rice portions were generous. Both of us felt ill the next day (like a hangover but without the alcohol)-can only assume we had OD'd on MSG. Won't go back

A really poor attempt at Thai green curry and Thai red curry. These people clearly don't have a clue what they're doing. The only good thing was the fact that they phoned to confirm the delivery address and that the delivery itself was at least efficient. But that didn't make up for the appalling food.

Absolutely woeful. The Thai food isn't Thai food at all - our Thai yellow curry was just vegetables with chip shop curry sauce poured over it. Spring rolls were just batter with no filling. Pad Thai was the worst I've ever had by some distance. Very bad I'm afraid. Avoid.

my food was cold on arrival had to micro wave it as was kids dinner and could not wait anymore chips were soggy and the prawns were horrible rubbery only thing that was nice was the free ribs normally so nice to a retrial customer not happy at all and went to bed hungry full of cold can’t be bothered phoneing then again

Ordered through Just Eat and they added an extra 15 minutes to the order. Phoned them 10 minutes after estimated delivery time; the woman told me that they were "actually very busy today" and that they were waiting on the delivery driver to return so it should only be 15 minutes. 30 minutes later it hadn't arrived so I cancelled the order. The restaurant accused me of refusing to answer the door and accept the delivery - a blatant lie. So, I walked along the road and went to Gorgie Fish Bar. The food was delicious and the service was excellent!

Ordered 19:17, arrived 20:43. I had to ring up at 20:30 to see what was happening (estimated delivery was 20:05).

Have been a customer for years, though for the past 3-4 months the quality is going down hill. Tonight we ordered a special chow mein, the 'new' bbq sauce was inedible. So salty, it was horrible. I called to complain and very kindly they delivered a replacement. But, again it was super salty and inedible. I have generally noticed that the sauces are different from before and not as nice. Also, the portion of Kung Po chicken is beginning to have less chicken and more chestnuts, so again not great.

The satay couldn't have been further from a satay. Was just a cashew chicken with no cashews. The masaman lacked curry. Was the exact same make up as the "satay" but with a little bit of the Curry. The flavour was good though

Super as always speedy delivery however I do live fairly close. Feel bad though as didn't have change to tip driver. Will square him up next time :)

I ordered 2 lemon chicken with chicken rice, when it came the chicken was in a sweet and sour sauce there was no selection for sweet and sour sauce, just lemon chicken, I called they said I had pressed the wrong button when it clearly said on my order 2 lemon chicken he then put me onto the boss who put the phone down on me (raging) 😡

The best Chinese takeaway I've ever had in Edinburgh. Really good chicken chow mein and the delivery driver was the politest and happiest chap.

Delivery time was great. Starters were really good (stay chicken and salt and pepper prawns) but mains courses (crispy chilli beef and crispy honey/chilli beef) didn't have much flavour and the beef was very tough and chewy.

One of the best Chinese takeaways I've tried for a long time! Full of flavour, fresh, great ingredients, nicely spicy!!!

The food wasn't all that great, takeaways these days don't read the comments section of the order either and so miss the important stuff. First time I have tried this place also the last.

The meal was excellent but arrived an hour and 45 minutes after the delivery time stated. Apparently the driver tried to ring our buzzer for 20 minutes in the first instance and the restaurant attempted to call me. Neither of these things occurred. When I called I was assured food would be sent soon. It arrived fresh and hot and was delicious but I'm a little annoyed about the time. Would recommend, just not on a Friday night (especially payday) as this obviously is the busiest time.

total joke. order came without the rice. they said they would send more rice. I explained that the food they had sent would be cold by the time rice got here. I asked that they send the whole order again and I would give them this order back. but no the best they could do was send more rice. I then told them I would bring the food back myself and I wanted a refund. when I got to the shop I had to wait for her to call delivery driver to make sure I had paid him. obviously I paid or how would I have the food. she eventually gave me my money back. even tho she never spoke to driver who in fact was a very polite and nice driver may I add. I certainly won't be back.
