The chips were really tasty and reasonably priced. We took them down to the beach to watch the sunset - it was only about a 10 minute walk from the shop. Once there, even the seagulls gave their seal of approval! My only gripe would be there needs to be vegan options on the menu!

Just had lunch here was unbelievable service friendly and was accommodating. They was due to shut at 14:00 but kept open to serve us and everyone else that came in. We ordered 2x sausage and 2x chips and a half pounder and chip food was fantastic. Big thank you

Fresh chunky fish, great chips, perfect curry sauce, and by the beach. What more could you want? The best bit is that they take the skin off the fish before frying so I can eat the batter without messing about! 10/10

On point all round. Batter is how is should be, curry sauce perfect consistency and I usually only have half a portion of chips which are more like a small portion. Very impressive keep up the good work.

Decided to go to Snettisham beach chip shop this evening for our tea, what a delightful treat. The chips had a lovely flavour and texture and were as hot as fire 🔥 fish was delicious . I really, really enjoyed my food, thank you 🤩

Lovely little chip shop not too far from the beach. £14.90 for two chips, scampi and chicken nuggets. Food was piping hot so definitely lasts for the walk down to the beach. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely terrible lady behind the counter was rude and got stroppy cause I asked for a fresh cooked sausage as my grandson has milk intolerance and the cooked ones was in with the battered fish the chips were awful too dripping in oil .better off going to hunstanton promenade chip shop.

A proper fish and chip shop! Cod and haddock were perfect, chips were delicious, plenty of choice, well organised staff and easy to park near.

Like so many chip shops I've visited.. staff seem fed up (pardon the pun 😕) so didn't feel welcome and no thanks for my custom.

Simple and fresh. As it should be. It would be nice to have a dinning area improved. Also, I wouldn't mind if I could get a pint with my fish & chips.

I queued for twenty mins placed order for 45 pounds of fish and chips asked to use toilet as I suffer from diabetes and prostate cancer was told out of order Their toilet said staff only so if out of order it is against health regulations to sell food and also refuse a person with a health condition Their food is great but their attitude to customers stinks if you buy from them they should allow access to wc They will lose my and family's business as a foot note because of their refusal and my condition I had a accident and had to cut short my visit to go home shower and change Thank you very much I have sent letter to the local council environment health dept to investigate their lack of the milk of human kindness towards disabled persons

Had fish and chips tonight and yet again the best you can get them from . Love this place we never use anywhere else despite the drive from Hunny to get them worth it every time . Fantastic food at a great price 😀

Was really looking forward to a takeaway as so many veggie options on menu. Imagine our surprise and disappointment on being informed that all food including all veggie options are cooked in beef dripping. Vegetarians beware! Apparently this review is "harsh" but advertising a "veggie burger" that is not vegetarian is misleading. Choice is fine but DO NOT advertise veggie options. Would go for no stars if I could.

Used to be unmissable. Food quality has fallen off in recent years. Slightly expensive, slightly slow service. Ultimately, it is not worth the prices. Opening times also aren't great.

I enjoyed the fish and chips though I later found out they are cooked in dripping. It would be helpful if all fish and chip shops were to display whether dripping or vegetable oil is used. Some of us avoid things like dripping, gelatine etc. whilst others seek out the traditional - dripping - cooked meal. The service and friendliness of the shop I can't complain about though.

Stopped here for a lunch snack, we shared scampi, which is wholetail! Chips, fishcake, sausage and curry sauce, which was really nice. The chips were lovely, well cooker and fresh, really nice to have proper scampi! Will try the fish next time.

This is my go to chip shop if I'm in the area, fish is always fresh and cooked to perfection and the same applies to the chips and they taste fantastic. But, you will have to queue (possibly) for a long time as well if you get there at the wrong time it's just so popular.

Really lovely fish, light as a feather batter. Everyone said the chips were perfect. Very good chippy 1min from the beach. Sit on the shingle bank and eat your supper watching the amazing sunset.

At popular times, you will queue showing how visited this chippy is. Car park off road so easy access to chippy. Not cheap though but good size portions well cooked. No delivery. Cannot pre-order so you have to wait but that means fish is fresh unless you go for standard Cod. Standard chip potion is big! Reckoned to be best chippy in area.

We appreciate that any shop can have busy periods and things can go pear shaped, but with a queue of 40-50 people across the carpark, the staff were apparently taking only one order at a time and waiting to cook and clear it before taking the next. Many people who only wanted quick orders such as just some chips or a drink could have been handled and served while those wanting cooked fish or complex orders could have all placed their orders and the food prepared in larger, more efficient batches while they waited for them to be ready. After 20 minutes of no progress we abandoned hope. Driving back past more than an hour later the queue was still there. Guess we'll never know if it was any good, but no food is worth an hour standing in a carpark.

Don't let appearances put you off. They served up the best battered cod I've had a quite some time, beating a highly rated place in Southwold with beer battered cod I went to a couple of weeks later. I'll be visiting again when going to the nearby bird reserves. Service was a bit smile-less but I won't dock a star for that as the food is good. They seem to do a brisk trade.

Had heard it was a very good fish and chip shop, but have to say when I visited while the fish was OK, the chips were not enjoyable. Not sure what they cook them in but wasn't impressed at all.

We came for fish and chips to take out on a wet August evening, just after 6pm. There we about 5 others queuing in front of us. We didn't have long to wait before getting to the front of the queue. We ordered cod and chips with peas. The regular sized chips were plenty and freshly cooked. The fish was fresh, beautifully white, thick and with a crispy batter. Often I feel ill after eating fish and chips (probably the greasy oil used), but these were fine. I would definitely recommend fish and chips from here.

Battered Sausages a bit to small so have to get 2 other than that, this place is my usual pit stop when in the area 👌🏼
