Always able to rely on this place. Chips are never hot though. Milkshakes are very well wrapped to prevent spillages. The halloumi wrap is always my go to, would definitely recommend

Food was cold. The driver was on the wrong road for 10 minutes then decided to call me and He was very rude. I would never use this service again. The tracking was off time. The food bag was not even closed. I won’t even be eating this. Ridiculous service all round

I ordered the smoky turkey bacon burger 10/10 so good cooked to perfection, chips nice and crispy not oily. Yes it’s expensive but it’s worth it.

Located little far of town but foods is halal and good service is extraordinary i recommend come to st albans town or on another Branch.

The top dog I ordered came with ketchup and mustard even though I didn't order them, so my son didn't touch it, and couldn't even get a refund for it. The cheeseburger came with pickles even though it wasn't in the ingredients, and it left pickle taste even after removing them. Won't order again.

I ordered BBQ ribs along with some other bits. Got home looking forward to the ribs. They were completely burnt. I phones up to complain, they didn’t have anyone who could deliver some fresh ribs. I had to go back to get a refund as they couldn’t do anything over the phone. They had the nerve to try and deduct some of the money for the coleslaw which I didn’t eat. Reluctantly they gave me a full refund. The service was appalling, no idea of customer service or how to appease a dissatisfied customer. Needless to say, I won’t be going back there again.

Food was tasty my friend got a wrap and it was cold. I got jerk brisket burger was nice. Portions could if been bigger. There sauces were good.

Chicken tenders overcooked crispy and dry Chicken wings were good and so were the fries. Bbq cheeseburger was not good Smoky bacon burger was ok.

Only gave 4 stars because that smoked chilli was way hotter than I expected and I was unable to eat the burger, I've also noticed there's no option to not have the chilli sauce.

Good lunchtime deal for. £9.95. Food was freshly cooked and piping hot. Plenty of fries and good size burgers. Delicious

Our last meal here was delicious, however our wraps arrived cold (although chips were luke warm) which was so disappointing, considering we live a 5 minute drive away. Flavours were still great, so I’m holding out for a better experience next time!

I ordered two Smokey Chick burgers on buy one get one free offer on Uber Eats, skin-on fries and sweet potato fries. The standard price for burgers is £10 on its own and I can tell you it’s not worth it. They were burnt and dry with no mayo or any sauce at all. They are stingy with sauces, literally not a single sauce tub. Also, they didn’t have fully loaded fries on the menu which says it all. Thankfully this is the first and last time I order from them as I have no intention of returning to St Albans. More like Burnt Boys.

Loved the food, the halloumi wrap was so full defo worth the money. Delivery was just under an hour and was 5 mins off being late. The delivery time also kept changing but I would have to say I would definitely order it again and just expect a long delivery time (I live like 10mins away from where they are based)

Ordered via uber without a discount and I'm very disappointed. My first and last time to order! They call it Fries but I call it dries they are refried for sure no taste and such a small portion! Mac n cheese was disliked tasted like it was from a tin. Burger was OK and the wings were nice jerk flavour. Wrap had barely any chicken and the steak n chips that cost £18 almost was so small. ABSOLUTE attention to detail in every way!!! The guys clearly know exactly what they are doing! Tantalizingly delicious doesn’t seem to describe the quality of meat to the pairing of condiments… Perfection! And the chips are insane as well!!! Top notch

Most succulent chicken !!, whatever the flavor it's a wonderful eat. Great sweet potato fries !! The food never misses and is on point every time. And the best atmosphere every time I go weather eating in or taking out. This is a must go for great feel good food !!

Burger was mid at best. Cold when it got here and idk what kinda sauce they put on it but that sh* was nasty. forgot my straw for my milkshake too….kmt

Ordered at 7pm with an estimated delivery time of 7:30. Contacted them at 8pm asking where the order was to be told that the food is ready but we need to collect it as they don’t have a driver to deliver. Food was stone cold by the time we got to eat it

Don’t order the hot dogs. VERY overcooked, shriveled, hard, dry. Based on our experience plus other reviews, it seems like they don’t understand how to cook hot dogs. Waste of money and the walk to and from. :-( Chili was sort of flavorless. Chips and buns were good, so that’s about it.

Ordered a selection of burgers and they were cooked to perfection, really juicy, moist and the flavours left my taste buds dancing. Well done guys amused bouches had by all.

Overall 2* the food came quickly and looked good. We ordered 2 hotdogs and a portion of Mac n cheese. I have never been so disappointed! The sausage was dry as the desert 🏜️, thank goodness for the cheap ketchup or I wouldn’t have been able to swallow it. (I love cheap ketchup fyi so not a complaint on that side of things) The Mac was bland and not cheesy at all. Overall quick delivery but tasted so poor! Really disappointed I hope your burgers are better than your hotdogs

Flavours from the burger was incredible the chicken shots were delicious but the chips was some of the crispiest and crunchiest with the most fluffy insides I’ve ever had 9.5/10 is my honest review on this place. Highly recommend!

Absolutely the best burger place, it's not dry at all and great flavours and generous size, fries are good and is all round my favourite.

Absolute delight to visit this quite joint and enjoy one of the best grilled chicken in a long long time. Will surely visit again. The staff was friendly and serviced with a smile.

This is mine and my partner’s favourite place to order from! Although it is on the pricier end, the quality and quantity of food is always good. When JustEat didn’t send a driver for one of our deliveries and subsequently cancelled our order, Smoky Boys were great and offered to re-make the order so we could collect it. Would definitely recommend.

The mac and cheese wasn’t cheesy at all and it was just like bland flour. It cold and horrible taste It gave the option to have a well done burger but both were same? I did not want well done for one and it was well done.

Called to ask why my order had been cancelled after placing the order (could have ordered elsewhere in this time!) only for them to say they don't know and no solution offered… I had to call Deliveroo instead.

Not sure why but they served the burger bun as a normal bun not a brioche bun. Not sure why this change was made but disappointing

Ordered for a certain time still 30 mins late. Chips and chicken cold - so I had to microwave it. Burger was ‘warm’ so I microbes that too. Burger bun was not the same from the picture and the food was very small portions for the price. Will not be ordering from it again. Fried chicken burger completely non edible. Half the food was ok. 90 minute delivery. Deliveroo didn’t deal with my complaint. Complained to Smoky Boys direct. They ignored my views. Will not eat here again!!!

One of my new favourite takeaways, friendly staff made me feel welcome. Love the chicken and sauces and the 2 for £22 steak and chips was great. Going to try the burgers next. Decent food at decent (at least for st albans prices).

Great burger and order was correct with no cheese. Good portion on wings and sides. However wings didn’t have great depth of flavour. Would order again!

Wasnt restaurants fault but food arrived cold

Food and service were great as always. Delivery was slightly late but to give them credit, they did provide an update informing me of the situation. And it was only 10-15 minutes late- sometimes delays are unavoidable.

Boyfriend and I have been searching for somewhere to have a “proper burger”, Smoky Boys certainly delivered! Ordered the Smoky Bacon, the Southern Fried, skin-on fries and a side of buffalo strips. The order arrived within 15mins, fries had travelled well and were still hot and crispy, burgers were hot and not sweaty, both of us enjoyed the food a lot, very satisfied. Only qualm was that the Smoky Bacon had some mayo in (Smoky Boys Sauce?) and would have been removed if known. Overall, highly recommend!

Hands down one of the best burgers I have had. I am gluten free and the gluten free burger was like having a normal burger again. The food came piping hot which is very rare these days. There was so much flavour and very good presentation. I will defiantly be ordering from here again.

Ordered a couple of chicken burgers and fries from Smoky Boys and they were delicious. Also, their banana milkshake and banofee pie were lovely too. Would definitely order again.

About food quality I am absolutely happy. But delivery was terrible because time of delivery in app was written as 25-45minutes, but when I made order I saw different timing which was from 45m till 1h15m. And of course delivery came as late as possible. Not good feelings about it.

Really good food but frighteningly expensive for what it was. 2 burgers, 4 wings, 2 chips and 2 drinks was over £30. If it was a bit cheaper I would go there regularly as it was very nice, but thats a lot of money for what is a burger and chips meal. Nice food, but far too expensive. Also, staff were constantly vaping outside, which isn't something you want to see really.

Still my favourite place on just eat. We have been loyal to Smokey boys ever since we stumbled upon them in lockdown! So delicious, great prices, love the number of starters/nibbles they offer, burgers are never soggy when they arrived…. I will keep shouting their praises for a long time. Thanks team for another great dinner!

Great chicken burger! Chips were a bit cold - but a few seconds in the microwave amd they remained crisp. Milkshakes were devoured and apparently delicious! Would recommend!

The food took a long time to arrive as the restaurant was unusually busy. However, I ordered steak (medium rare) & chips and when it arrived, it was perfectly cooked and very tasty. I would definitely order from here again
