Used uber. Delivery was on time. Had a regular kebab. Can't fault the food 👌🏻

Sent half an order refused to honour it, then what they did send was burger on bread no sauce no salad nothing. Said they would refund through just eat then back tracked!! Save your money it's better spent elsewhere

I ordered a burger and bucket from just-eat and I didn’t get a single sauce/catchup not even inside burger it was just fillet in bun dry!!😡

literally the most ridiculous experience ordered it on uber worst mistake of my life 🤣 first off i had to go out and walk the streets at 1 am looking for this guy after clearly telling him how to get to us about 5 times. The milkshake came in paper bag with no cup holder meaning it had leaked all in bag and i didn’t realise that, until i took the stuff off him and started walking back to the house and the bag gave way and milkshake hit the floor and went all over me. The pizza was vile and wasn’t even cut 😅 also ordered another drink that we didn't get but I'm assuming its because they had to redo the order and send a new driver 🤯

I ordered an 8" Meaty Full House pizza 🍕 through Uber eats. With a buy one and get one free offer, I got 2 at 1 pizza price. As of that things are good. But, unfortunately I didn't like it. I felt a flavor of salt at high. I couldn't finish it. Maybe I will try some other dishes and update the review if that meets expectations.

Food missing from order had to wait another hour for it to be delivered. bean and gravy in bargain bucket was just put in a bag and the lids were off the tub . Doner kebab was full of grease, not nice at all. wont be using again. very disappointed with food

First and last time ordering from here. Delivery was prompt and at the correct time stated. But was still Cold 🥶 not the correct order had no chips that I payed £3:50 for no can of tango £1:50 chicken on kabab was horrible took one bite and threw in the bin..chicken burger says 100 % chicken breast that also went in the bin tasted no different juts eating hash brown that was on the bun..also came with a tub of well don’t know what it was custard I think. Random never again. Don’t waist your money

Perhaps I had a bad experience but that’s all I can review. Undercooked pizza with borderline raw dough and chips that looked good but were horrible. Someone on here described them as ‘rubbery’ and they’re exactly right - couldn’t put my finger on it till now but they really were awful. Much cheaper places in town for MUCH better food. A real shame :(

donner kebab portion was tiny for £7.50, more chips than meat and bread. cheesy chips were dry and spicy.

We've ordered twice through Uber Eats, and the order has been wrong twice. On the first order, the meal deal was delivered with a smaller pizza than advertised. We recieved an apology, and a request to try them again. On trying them again, our order had a substituted side (a double of one we already had), the large drink was missing and our dip was missing. On calling, we were told that since the order had been delivered by UberEats, all we could do was to request a partial refund - the UberEats app stated that the order was delivered by Smokin's own driver. This is twice out of two orders that we haven't recieved what we've paid for, and Smokin' hasn't actually done anything to make their errors right. We won't be ordering from them again - it's a shame, because the food we *have* recieved has been of good quality. The value for money is *greatly* decreased, however, when you don't actually get what you pay for.

Not worth the price. Ordered a value box (which I would assume would have chicken, chips and donner meat). I paid £11.55 for this "value box" was required to order a can of tango too. I only received the chicken. No chips, no donner meat, and they didn't deliver my drink either. Total rip off

Ordered from just eat, sat waiting for 15 minutes for my order to be cancelled, tried to call but being ignored. Horrendous service and I will not be ordering again

I was pleasantly surprised with the double cheese and egg burger i had. Very tasty and satisfying. The chicken wings were great, as were the chicken strips. Would recommend this place to anyone. In fact, have done so already 👍👍

Drab atmosphere when empty. Order at the table via a QR code with table number, ( or you can order at the counter). Superb Food. Especially the Loaded Fries. Tasty Burgers. Fast Food outlet, so don't expect any cutlery, cups or plates. Food served in cardboard boxes and foil trays. Drinks served in bottles and cans with a straw. Toilets are terrible. All said and done, it's all about the food, which is Fantastic. Highly Recommended.

Not a great start guys… I ordered Steak Philly fries but it was actually doner kebab meat (which I don’t eat at all). “Freshly made pancakes” are definitely store bought. I also order some Kentucky chicken but it’s just ok, not surprise. Very disappointed with my order. Sadly 20£ for all this food going to the bin

Ordered a chicken burger with fries and 1 piece chicken and chips meal.loved the fries & the sauce was simply delicious, the burger was hot, fresh and filling loved it. The chicken was really flavoursome. Friendly staff & hygienic place to go and eat. Will visit again for sure

The portion size was too small on the shawarma for the price, asked for no tomatoes on salad (allergic) got tomatoes on plate.. shame, place has potential but its overpriced and tries to be a fine dinning but the quality indicates fast food

Customer service was exceptional. Ordered a burger and wasn’t pleased with it but the Owner/Manager apologised and sent out a fresh one that out did what i expected. First time but defo not the last🥵smokin food 👍🏼

Absolutely stunning food. Easily now the best takeaway in Newcastle. Food is to a high standard and even the packaging ensures it doesn’t go cold whilst in delivery. It’s a great place to order from and I’ll 100% go again.

The owner cant seem pay staff correctly, immature and cant run a buisness. Breaks contracts massively, and owes my friend £150 worth of hours, promise pay 7.50 n hour and only pays 6.50 also uses fake pepperoni on pizza 🤢 and the cheese is moldy sad times if u eat here

The food was excellent, it has a rating of 5 for food hygiene. Also is excellent for families/students as well as people looking for decent prices on great food! Staff are extremely friendly.

Visited today after a recent refurb and my family and I enjoyed our meal. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was well presented and tasty. I'd mark this as good value for money.

It isn't often that my first instinct upon being seated in a restaurant is to check the displayed Food Hygiene Rating is accurate, but I did here today. There's a kitchenette area to the left of the 'bar' which is actually visible to the public, but it looks like it's their dirty little secret. God knows when it was last cleaned, and if that's the state of the visible, I don't want to think about what the kitchen looks like. The toilets were in good condition but badly cleaned and managed. (No paper, filthy toilets and sinks, and empty aerosol cans on the floor). The food was expensive (£10.50 for over-held chicken, average rice, and cold chips) and very poor quality. The base of my daughter's pizza was so dough-like, it felt raw and was thoroughly inedible. Now, none of this is the fault of the young girl serving, so I didn't complain to her, and the man who was clearly the owner/manager/Mr Jawad from the previous review, had disappeared by the time my displeasure was obvious, so I couldn't complain to him either. I will not be eating here again, and I strongly recommend you don't either. Instead, why don't you go to the many other eateries in the area? Or stay hungry, that would be the better option. I wish I had.

I’m not usually picky with food but I would honestly never eat here again everything was cheaply brought and put together.. mocktail was incredibly sweet and undrinkable.. not impressed at all!!

Smokin' Grill N Pizza restaurant offers the best pizza in town. I often visit with my family and order large pizza. We also order Grilled chicken with rice that is really awesome. My family insists me to visit here again and again.

When I entered Smokin' Grill N Pizza restaurant, it appeared that I had entered a fairy place. An extremely elegant atmosphere, outstanding food, and finest service. five stars

We went to check it out food, first thing we were told was they hadn't enough menus for us which isn't good when you have just opened, food is lovely, not much choice but perfect for kids. One thing they should be doing is diet drinks ie coke, lemonade on the bottomless drinks instead of full fat. That really does need looking into straight away. Staff also need to be on top of the drinks spotting when empty and offering a top up.

Thursday early evening so thought I'll take my son for a pizza. We arrived, only one table in. We get advised no pizza dough so no pizza. OK, take a look at the menu and fancy the chicken sharwama and apparently that'll take extra long to cook as a steaner is broken. go to order a Pepsi max to be told no draught drink available something wrong with it. OK so coke zero it is , no bottomless drinks for us. I order burger for myself and my son has wings. The burger comes and its the size of a kids burger. A few chips. Son won't eat the chicken as he says it tastes funny. Rip off. Toilet sinks were disgusting. Then I made the complaint to which the staff member challenged me, I raised my voice to say I am entitled to complain, I wasn't asking for a discount. Sue calls the manager on the walkie talkie saying the customer is shouting at us. The apparent manager appears and does not even listen to my complaint. She then asks me to leave, which was fine as we were leaving anyway. She then comes after me stating I'd tried to hit her!?!?! Wow!! I was at the cash point with my son still within the complex , I asked her if she had cctv , she shouted yes and that she was getting her fella to come sort me out. Guys be prepared, it seems the owners of some food establishments are either taking drugs or feel its OK to threaten their customers with violence !

Booked the horse shoe table for my son's 10th birthday party (the adults sat at a separate table!) The food was amazing, all home made, freshly prepared and plentiful! We had pre-ordered the food and it all arrived together, on time and the staff were lovely

For a place it's not great I've been many decent places. Reasons for two stars:no menu's ready on table no napkins or condiments they were in a corner out of site. staff where friendly yes but biggest put off for me is the Hala sign as a non Muslim myself with Jewish connections is a bit off putting it should be on the menu as some might see it as off putting yes you see them in takeaways but they are usually on their takeaway menus in small so not noticeable. You could put kosher aswell as there are not many places that offer Hala and kosher these are two different things of course but it is more welcoming to other people of a minority religion. Music was rnb which tbh is not to everyone's taste I'd suggest just having TV s with sports or news showing to attract the type that want a quite meal without it being a night bar in the day.

Quite possibly the best pizza I've had! Literally went to go Pizza hut and was disappointed it wasn't there 😂.. But thought we'd try this place anyway. Wasn't expecting much at all but I had the BBQ louisiana pizza and it was off the scale! 10/10. We will be back!

Personally wouldn’t even give it a 1 star! We went for my sons birthday today! Well what can I say! The waitresses/ waiters weren’t the easiest to deal with! Firstly my daughter ordered an ice coffee which after nearly half an hour after receiving our drinks we had to ask where it was which we were told they had no ice! Then to find another drink without any apology! Then my daughter had a peri butterfly chicken which was slimy and pink, the corn on the cob were hard and dry, the pizzas had raw dough and in general wasn’t good! When paying the bill we tried speaking to the girl and she wasn’t interested at all! I’m not one to usually criticise or put bad reviews after being in the trade for over 20 years and no the score but this place is shocking! Then to finish off they charged us twice for drinks which now we need to sort out 🤬🤬🤬 would 100% not recommend!

We've eaten here twice, had quite a wide selection from the menu. Can not fault the service & cleanliness of the venue. Will definitely be recommending to friends and family

The serving staff are the only good thing about this place. The pizza was tasteless and the steak was over cooked and mainly fat. Will not go back again

Went in the other night ask for a rib eye steak what came out was 2 small steak which was not a rib eye and it was even cold.

Cannot fault the waitresses for refunding our meal without any questions. However, we didn't expect our pizza to come out with raw dough.

Been here on two occasions and both times the food was excellent. The first time I had lamb chops which melted in my mouth with cauliflower cheese that was divine. The second time I had a meat feast pizza (see pic below) and it was gorgeous, so flavourful and full of meat. The service was great and the food arrived quickly with no issues. There was also a party of 16 in at the same time and they all seemed to enjoy it and were having a good time. There food also came out very quickly. I would highly recommend this restaurant and a big well Done goes to the chefs especially as the food is divine and of an excellent standard, the prices are also very reasonable.

Been here twice now and no complaints. When I was in the second time, there was a party of 16 and food was delivered to my table and the party table in a timely manner. Both times the food has been amazing, tarka rice was outstanding and the chicken was succulent and so tasty. Second time I visited I had the pizza - the dough is made fresh as you order and you can really tell the difference, it was delicious. I would 100% recommend. You can really tell the diversity that they have in the kitchen! Excellent.

Cannot fault the waiter. They need a new chef to delivers quickly and good food quality. Waited for over 40 mins and then these food are off putting. Found a piece of plastic inside the rice. Lots of food go's to the bin which is a shame.
