Sherif kebab House in Newcastle-under-Lyme

Ordered a pizza meal deal, told them I want create your own amd told them the items I want. They then tried to charge me 80p extra for each of the 4 items i picked (3.20) on top of the pizza meal deal. The meal deal comes with donnermeat and chips and they tried to put the donner and chips in on top of the pizza together?? It was a kid who served me around 13years old. Then they said they don't do green chilli.. they got signs up with food items but no prices next to it so you got to look through the leaflet menu or they could overcharge you. Good place and food but just beware..

Chicken uncooked and the woman who delivers it has an attitude problem

I tried to speak to the guy on the phone and he kept fobbing me off and pretending that he couldnt hear me.... rude. Also, they have a 'value meal' that isn't correct... and if you ask them why... they will hang up on you..!

Ordered lamb kebab with fries and salad . Get home no salad , lamb tough as it comes. Not impressed,

I just finished work at midnight rang order through took 30 mins explain order said collection be 20 mins which was fine to turn up to be told manager had refused my order with no phone call no apologies order every Tuesday never again lost my custom and recommend nobody else orders from here.

Pizza was cold no garlic mayo and just horrible finally replaced pizza still no dip and although it was warm pizza was not happy with the service or the replacement pizza will not be using the place again

Amazing food, both kebabs and the fried chicken is amazing. My brother says the fried chicken is the best in the country lol. Really nice friendly guys, too.

I can't lie, the decline of this place has been mad jarring. They used to have quality food, and spending a tenner here was actually worth it. More time, when you ordered from this place, everything was made fresh. The last two times, the chips were stale, and the chicken tasted mad bland. Bare dissapoiting.

Absolutely disgusting chicken was undercooked on pizza may aswell be still alive on my pizza . Ordered burger meal come with rock had donnermeat could knock someone out with it, if you chucked it at a wall it wouldn't even break. When the food arrived both dishes were cold, the wifes food was bareable so she said My food was unedable, the delivery guy should of just put mine in the bin when he walked passed it to get to the door Nan bread was hard and breaking up due to it being dry and cold There was only part of the meat put in the tray that I ordered, The stake was just grissle and fat, the salad was close to being non existant I would advise anyone wanting food to bypass this one I have to give one star because I cant post with no stars

Absolutely shocking the delivery driver thinks he can speak to you like your a 2 year old child because someone has learning difficulties. Food didn't even get delivered. Absolutely disgusting Attitude of the workers is unbelievable. Won't be coming here again.

I ordered kebab last night, when arrived home I discovered that it was not cooked well. Will not go there again.

Fried Chicken was fresh, juicy and crispy and cooked well The large kabab I ordered was delicious, the salad in the kabab was fresh too with enough spicy mayo I ordered. It filled me and my husband. I definitely recommend Sherif Kabab House

Ordered a few times from here and it is usually so nice. I always say how soft and doughy the pizza is and how nice the crust is. Last time we ordered I said how quick it took for them to get to my boyfriends house. Tonight, our order was ‘delayed’ twice. We ordered at 19.40 and it didn’t turn up for another hour and a half which is not like this takeaway usually. When our food eventually turned up, the pizza was hard, almost like it had been cooked and left on the side (probably why it was ‘delayed’ twice). The crust was not the same crust as it usually is, it was hard and small whereas it’s usually soft and quite thick. Would love a refund for the shocking experience we’ve had tonight but looking at the other reviews, I’ll probably only have a rude encounter. Such a shame as I really enjoyed the food from here previously.

I WAS a very loyal customer, UNTIL! Originally had a problem that when i placed my order, unfortunately this did not meet my dietary needs. I called the restaurant straight away and spoke to the most rudest man iv ever come across! I told him what was wrong and his exact words were “Right, what do you want me to do about it” and was just overall rude and frankly didn't care that THEY did not meet my request in which i paid extra for!. I requested a new pizza to be sent out which took 1hour20mins to arrive which in fact was stone cold and not edible!! Just eat have contacted in regards to this…

Late night order because nowhere else was open. £4 pound for chicken pop corn which turned out to be 100G of fried breading in a ripped greasy sweet bag. Forgot my chips and chicken Donner was of the poorest quality with giant barely cut onions dolloped on top. £12 for some breading and pet grade meat buried under 1/4 kilo of onions. Delivery was fast and the nan was still soft so +1 star for that.

Ordered my food tonight came fast and was good as normal. But I thought they had forgot to give me my pizza but because it was dark I didn't see it . Very poor. Pizza was burnt (black burnt) and tasted of burnt plastic so went straight in the bin. Chips were cold and soggy and garlic bread was missing from order. First and last time I will be ordering!

Ordered pizza. Money was taken. Never delivered. Money wasn't refunded. Tried phoning the restaurant and they were quite rude and demanded they never recieved an order despite me being willing to provide bank statements proving otherwise. Feel like I was scammed tbh and restaurant were unwilling to resolve the situation.

Ordered once and no issues, food is pretty standard 2am grub. No quibble. Ordered the second time and the driver never even attempted delivery. I left clear instructions on where I was but they still couldn’t work it out. Won’t be ordering here again

Ordered food and it never even came. When I phoned up they tried to lie and say they tried to phone me and left at the door. I live in a flat so that was impossible unless they have a fob key and I had no missed calls. 100% wouldn't recommend

First and last time ordering from here. Steak was disgraceful, couldn't chew my way through it at all. The chicken and lamb was lovely but the steak just ruined it. The delivery bloke was rude too, we tried to be helpful but his attitude was poor. Sorry but will not use you again. Would rather order a kebab from Hartsill chippy.

It’s a shame it’s nice food but, it’s NEVER the right order. So I give up. 1. always miss the sauce which makes it. 2. When they run out of meat they either, half fill a box or quarter fill a box and pack it with chips. 3. The driver took cash off me and I didn’t realise my missus paid on card. Some might say it’s my fault but dishonest is dishonest. Anyone who has worked in the food industry knows once you complain you CANT go back. Bye

Ordered via Uber eats Food took over 1.5 hours to arrive, and when delivered it was missing my sons pizza. Driver said would go back to pick up, but it was not delivered as had been agreed. Food was pretty cold and dire Will not be ordering from there again. Please don’t waste your money or time

Food is okay, not really anything special. Horrible customer service though, I wish I had listened to some of the other reviewers. Ordered from UberEats at 9:30pm, food didn't arrive for 2 hours. I called the restauraunt to ask about the food and the delivery driver told me that they had dropped it off at the door despite the fact that I had requested to meet at the door + the app showed the food had not arrived. I calmly told the man that the food was not at the door and he immediately began arguing with me. I explained he could have gone to the wrong address and he blatantly refused this teling me he knew exactly where I was and he had drpped it off at thr right location. He told me to settle the matter with UbefEats tomorrow and I refused telling him to check again now.He then said he would come to the address again in 5 mins to prove he had the right location. Calls me 5 mins later saying sorry and he had dropped the food off at the wrong house. By this time it is almost midnight and he comes with new food. I check my order and he has given me cheese on my donner when I only asked for salad. Not very happy and I will not be ordering again. Delivery driver is very rude. Customer service is bad. 1 star hygiene rating apparently and theycan't follow simple ordrs.

First time i have used the Sherif kebab house. And trust me i have worked all over this country and tried many kebab houses. Polite phone manner from staff. Delivery driver was a nice fella. I ordered at 7pm with a 30 minute eta. 25 minutes later my order arrived. Hot.well presented even for a take away and to be fair it was very tasty and a generous portion size . Unfortunately they had cut in half the chunks of chicken from my shish off the scewer which made it a liitle dry. But that aside..yes i would recommend. And as for a 1star food rating..... If you never had a good breakfast from a proper greasy spoon, up a dirty side street in London, then you have absolutely no sense of taste.

It says it's open till 3:30 am. Get an email saying order been cancelled. Ring them up and they say they are shut at 1:00am. Update times needed. Very disappointed

Not used here for a while as we had a kebab takeaway closer to us but they have gone down bank and so thought I'd go back to Sheriff's. Have had 2 orders this past couple of weeks and they were delivered quickly and driver was polite. I ordered 2 of their largest special kebabs for my family and it was lovely great food and a generous amount as always. Don't know why there's a 1 star rating, my other kebab House had a 4 star rating but we often had a dodgy stomach off their food. Sheriff's is great food, good portion and quick delivery.

Ordered certain pieces of chicken with our meals. Checked and confirmed the order twice. And they still got it wrong or they just ignored what I asked for. Done this twice now on two seperate orders. Will never be ordering again! Waste of a time of a place !

Used to love Sherif. Wouldn't eat here now though. As of October 2020 they have a 1 Star Food Hygiene Rating.

During these unprecedented times (covid-19 pandemic), we should be more careful. The guy preparing my order was constantly talking and as he put them into the bag he blew into it. I asked him not to put my food in the contaminated bag. Poor habits and unhygienic practices should be stopped!

The food was like warm. Considering that I livenot that far away from the place....this is bad. Super burger and they charge you em extra pound for cheese is wrong. Garlic. Read with cheese doesn't taste like garlic bread with cheese. Nevertheless am I going to this place again. Recommend people stay away from here

CUSTOMER SERVICE ISN'T A THING HERE! Ordered a Steak Kebab online for £6 with salad and sweet chilli sauce. It arrived bare with just stake and pita, it looked utterly pathetic.
