KFC Keele - M6 Services in Newcastle-under-Lyme

Absolute lifesaver- can’t beat greasy and grimage chicken after a 4 hour drive.

Some how we managed to end up here twice, on the way up and back. (Over a period of days)! We ordered the gravy box which was missing chicken. The wait both times was not fast food quick. For a lunch time when it's busy they only had one server on. We also watched when they gave the wrong order out and took it back to swap it. Still tasted good so 2 stars, but we will be trying to avoid this next time.

Firstly.. Girl called my number and I didn't hear her 1st time so she started huffing and rolled her eyes when I realised she was calling mine. My Trilogy box was probably the worst KFC I've ever experienced. The chicken in the burger was cold, the extra mini fillet was ok the chips looked and tasted like someone had had them up their A*se for the whole shift before serving them. Gravy was nice and popcorn chicken was nice. £11.50 for the displeasure too. Absolutely shocking.

Lovely stay, nice break, lovely food, but the bunting is missing the flag of Georgia 🇬🇪 🤣

It’s a alright place the people are odd tho some dude with a dog tried fighting the poor serving dude

Terrible! Run out of most things and took ages to deliver the order which was wrong. Don’t stop here, keep going to the next one, or order from Burger King opposite.

it wasnt that busy and they was really slow staff dancing about instead of making my food and then when i get home after eating im violently ill bare in mind ive eaten nothing else really all day and i get home after this and am puking vile if u ask me

Not only we’ve ordered large Zinger burger meals and they gave us regular size meals pretty paying us extra for something we didn’t pay for, but after we asked for the large meals as we ordered they gave it to us almost cold, the cheese was cold the bun was cold and the chicken itself was barely warm. UNACCEPTABLE

Typical KFC fast food, great staff hot food, plenty of seating

Ordered Big Gravy Bucket,which contains 6pc chicken, 6mini fillets, 8 hot wings , 4 gravy , 4 fries and 1.5 litter Pepsi The worst chicken i had ever had from KFC outlets, everything taste very bad and seems like oil is very old , gravy taste like spoiled one. Only good was their signature fries . Never suggest anyone this KFC anyone, not worth for money we pay. Tastes like having spoiled food giving money. Parking facility is there and washroom facilities are there for the building

Says close at 10pm, arrive at 9.10 to staff saying closed. When asked for a reason, just state they close at 10pm!!?

Ordered 3 pieces and fries ended up with two. Soggy coating counted 9 cold chips. Just dire, don't bother

Worst KFC meal ever. 3 piece meal. Soggy coating, cold chips and gravy so thin it fell off the food. Two out of the three pieces were wings, just the wings no meat. The third was 3/4 ribcage in coating and what meat I found was dry. So effectively £12 for a coffee but at least that was hot.

Dead. Forgot the sauce on my meal. Condiments at the counter was very poorly stocked (last fork, no straws etc)

I enjoyed the quality of the food, but it was much more expensive than normal.

Unfortunately Keele services KFC never meets expectations, dry, old, and slow. The view is ok looking over the motorway but Id avoid. Any service stations past Birmingham heading north that serve KFC are rubbish. Edit: it's the next day: toilet shopping is on the cards, that was dodgy chicken. Why do we allow this?!

Very normal as you expect in a services

Normally they a KFC is very empty compared to the burger king at the other side of the hall. Last time my daughter and I visited, was loads of people their, so I though we will also eat KFC.the taste was ok, but too salty even for me. The next day my daughter and I where feeling too good for half day. Wouldn't really recommend. Not gonna eat there anytime soon.

Ordered my food which was given to me in seconds, yes seconds because it was sat getting cold amd wasn't freshly prepared, I also ordered to sit in and was served as takeaway. Very disappointed in cold food and mediocre service. I will not eat here again.

Nice to sit and watch the traffic but £14 for two drum sticks and chicken wings. All seemed undercooked too. Very slimy.

Standard KFC, gets super busy, it's on bridge inside the services, above the motorway. Good for an emergency food top up when the carb cravings are hitting hard lol...prices are not that bad

Good location and can sit to watch motorway traffic. Negatives costs much more than other KFCs, does not take the KFC app discounts as their machines are broken. But worst of all the food was cremated.

Called in and went to have something to eat at burger king. Sat on the bridge and watched the traffic go under us. Was actually quite scary when you see the trucks going under us 🥴

The KFC touchscreen ordering kiosk a bit frustrating, geared to up-selling. However service was quick, staff helpful and food was what you what you expect from a KFC.

One of the worst experiences for food, a miserable and tired service station that very cold, food is slow, cold and disgusting at a KFC on every occasion weve been over the years, slow service and lack of care....avoid at any cost unless your desperate for the toilet.

Regular service. Toilets and showers for 4. There is a student town with a couple of small shops about half an hour's walk away.

Motorway service station was fairly quiet so not many people in the queue. Order was ready quickly and tasted great. Staff were friendly

Nice food but very expensive. £9 for a meal that would cost £6 in a normal restaurant. Only stopped because I was starving but it’s such a shame we have to be ripped off at service stations. Hardly in the middle of nowhere as there was a deliveroo bike rider there waiting to deliver locally!!

Not part of the main KFC franchise and would not honour my free burger on my KFC app.

Had to wait over an hour for food, 28 + orders in front plus orders jumping over ( maybe for drinks only?) Paid for four large meals including one double zinger meal. Only received 1 zinger, raised with KFC staff and they agreed that 2 zinger had been ordered but would not honour as my husband had brought over to the table and not checked that all food was there in the £40 order at the counter while picking up. 5* for the wonderful service station staff who were exceptionally helpful and the duty manager from Starbucks. Would not use KFC again.

30 plus orders people waiting all over the place 2 staff don’t seem to have a clue. Pathetic place

4pm on a busy Friday. Ordering machines were offline and there was a queue but it was only 5 mins to order and then 5 mins to prepare the food. Two box meals, nothing missing and piping hot throughout. The seating area was tidy, with clean tables. For my first KFC in 20 years, and considering the terrible reviews you see all over the place for them, this exceeded my lowered expectations. For my son of 15 having his first ever KFC, he liked it.

Poor management of staff who were not interested in sorting out correct orders. Rude attitude when trying to sort the food from whoever was in the kitchen. . Refused to actually correct an issue. Kfc head office come and sort this!!

We were a large group of 16 including children. The staff here was not at all welcoming and felt rude at times. The answer was ‘No’ for almost everything. There was no Ketchup in this KFC, can you even believe that!!!

Waiting over 10 min to place order, girl with red hair very rude and gets orders wrong mine and 1 before my order check receipt after ordering make sure it's correct especially if red has any part of it. Food was good though and hot.

Went during a very busy lunch period after sitting in traffic for 2 hours. Ordering was easy although the machines were slow to let you pay. Staff were working as quickly as they could to work through the orders, although you could tell they were understaffed. Food came quickly considering how busy it was.

Rude, very unwelcoming group of staff huddled together staring me down as I walked up wondering if they were open - felt like the outside of a club. I get shouted at "we're closed". 1 second of niceness to have just say it politely would make for a better customer experience

Staff very well unorganised, zinger burger food boxes were open while on the shelf 3 staff there not one of them decided to close the lids and I refused to have the food and ask for fresh food. Staff have very bad attitude and need to be retrained. Fizzy drinks flat and disgusting. Don’t waste your money. When people spend their hard earn money they expect proper good cook food.

The parking lot is like a parking lot in the UK. The tests are terrible.

Pretty poor. No food at 7pm they close at 8pm, very unorganised. Poor girls up front doing their best. Food missing and a massive queue. Hardly any chips flat coke they couldn’t cope. One of the worst. Throw your food at you. Food Served by Kazia

I'm stopping here often as I'm a HGV driver, this place is just waste of time, 30 minutes minimum wait for food most times! If you need to pay at the till forgetit, staff is not even bothered to come to take your order!! This place don't have any customer service standards in place! To bad I like kfc and I have to waste a lot of time to get some food in this so cold "fast food" restaurant!

I am a regular customer to KFC and always enjoy their food and customer service, however I must say that this one has the slowest and poorest organisation I have ever witnessed this evening. Please for your customers sake do not allow this to continue.

Stopped in for a 'quick' stop on a long journey south, ended up waiting 40 minutes for food. Understaffed and horribly run. 60 minutes start to finish - you could have quicker meals in a sit-down restaurant, and this is supposed to be fast food. A complete joke.

AWFUL!! Don't bother, go anywhere else. 40 minutes wait for food to have a item missing. Took a further 10 minutes to get there attention to ask for the missing chicken, because they were ignoring customers. Two young girls just gossiping between themselves - one wearing her mask around her chin the whole time. Gravy was basically water as well 🤢 and wasn't particularly hot either. Just room temperature.

Good service given by friendly staff. Too many people not adhering to social distancing. Shame as its a good place to go and enjoy.

Dropped in after a long dog walk with 2 hungry and grumpy kids, thinking we'd have to grab food and feed them in the car. Nit so! Here was a quiet Kfc, where the food was hot and fresh, and you could actually sit down together at well spaced and spotlessly clean tables, and eat in. This was a massive lockdown treat!

Slow service, everyone had a mask on but didn't have their nose covered. Food was lovely

All though the Keele services is clean. Its about time it was refurbished

Utter rubbish. They had sold out of any kind of chicken fillet for the burgers, and the chicken we did get was way way too salty even by KFC standards

Awful service took 20 minutes for 5 items (snack items) then they forgot one of them. Also no gravy and gave use the wrong dip. Pathetic

20 min wait for a Vegan Burger. Spose to be a Fast Food joint. The burger was nice and hot tasted OK.

Food was fine, but staffing poor. Not the young member of staff's fault but ordering stations were down and he was having to take and serve one order at a time. Quite a delay in my journey through waiting 20+ minutes.

Worst KFC I've ever been to. After passing by many other services in the hope of finding a KFC I ordered, paid for my meal and waited for a while only to be told that they were put of boneless chicken. After being offered a replacement of 2 mini fillet burger meals to replace my original meal (At least £5 less than the total value of what I'd already ordered) I got a refund so I could chose something else and actually pay the right amount. However, in the 2 minutes this took, they decided that they would close an hour early and weren't serving any more. Thought it would have been something appropriate to tell me while trying to make my other decision but here we are. Think this is the 3rd or 4th time I've turned up and not been able to eat here for some other pathetic reason. KFC Keele services, never again. Absolute rubbish!

Typical KFC ordered a box meal meal with the spicy bites minus cheese and extra bacon after a fairly long wait the meal arrived, walked back through the services and to my car, opened up the box meal and too my delight cheese. So back through the services I go and back to KFC to be fair to the lady who messed the order up she was loverly and very apologetic. After waiting another good 5 minutes a new fillet tower burger arrived, so back through the services and back to me car, by this time though the rest of it was stone cold.

30 minute wait for food, staff in kitchen were arguing in front of customers as they messed up all food orders. No gravy, no cup lids. Asked for chicken drumstick got undercooked chicken thigh instead. This place needs a inspection from managers of KFC uk Ltd as it may look nice but is indeed run and organised like chaos.

Poor waiting times, food quality below par. Several orders of customers in front were incorrect, with dips being forgotten on my own meal. "crispy" chicken was soggy and chips undercooked.

Staff taking one order then walking away from the till. Not even acknowledging the other four people waiting to be served. It wasn't even very busy. The computer screens were not taking orders either. After waiting over ten minutes I went to Burger king and was sat eating before the next person was served at KFC.

1 of 4 self service machines working. This appears to be a reoccurring problem. Last time none of them were working. Slow service with no one at the order point ridiculous. There is always something out of stock, food or cups. Sort it out
