All take-out, but you can eat inside. Food was fine, service was fine, BUT there is ONE guy at the bar and everyone has to pay at the bar. Somehow none of the service providers know how/are allowed to run the cash register. So all the people stopping by for a beer, and all the people eating, and all the locals who are regulars, all need this one guy. He's trying to fill beer and drink orders, AND run the only cash register. The place was PACKED and the line went through the entire restaurant. We had a tour booked 30 minutes later and had to ask for special treatment in order to get checked out in time to make our tour, which made us feel like jerks, but really it's just a really inefficient business practice. They can do better.

Went to Smoke on the Water just before it closed at 7pm this evening after a tip off by a local. They had clearly just had a run of orders as there was a ferry about to leave. The young man who served us was so nice, and professional beyond his years. He not only dealt with the many demands of the customers dining in and taking away with courtesy, he was completely on top of what was still available on the menu. It took about 25mins for our food to come but, it was absolutely worth the wait. My MiL had the king prawn taco, which was so well cooked, the prawns crispy and delicious, my go to would have been the brisket but, it was finished for the day, had the cheeseburger and chips which was homemade and so tasty, hubby had the same. We also got a couple of beers to take away which were from the local brewery. Would highly recommend as your go to for reasonably priced food in Uig.

This was a fun experience! Our private guide got lost in Isle of Skye and it was later afternoon and we were hungry. We saw Smoke on the Water , looked up their menu and dropped in for lunch. Wow - the food was amazing & the owner couldn’t have been friendlier! The fish & chips were DELICIOUS…and larger than my head! A fun unplanned discovery!

I loved my meal of pork fillet but was a little disappointed that two courses for £20 was only for starter & main course.

The best fish and chips I have ever eaten. Fresh melt in your mouth fish with lovely batter. Posh homemade chips and delicious tartare sauce. Great food and nice setting with friendly staff.

Have lived in Broadford for over 6 months now and I eat from the van everyday mon- fri and haven’t found anywhere in broadford or the whole of skye who consistently puts out great food like these guys do. Service is top knotch and the food is finger licking good. The Korean chicken burger is my all time fav and love the fact that they use butcher meat in their morning rolls and their lunch menu too. Don’t miss this place if you’re in the area.

Dropped in for a quick lunch on the way to Skye. We had the roasted red pepper and lentil soup, which was so full of flavour, and the cheese and haggis toastie. Friendly and efficient service, and would have been a great view down Loch Duich if it hadn't been pouring with rain and blowing a gale! We'll definitely drop in again
