Real fun Great vibe Great service

Nice atmosphere with a good vibe, unfortunately the food was absolutely awful , complained to staff they where great and dealt with the issues but one star for me as there for the food

What an incredible dining experience! I wish we didn't live so far away so I could enjoy this place more regularly. The food was delicious, the service was exceptional and the restaurant is so creatively pit together to give the diner the ultimate American experience.

Quite a lot of birthdays happen in an evening.. ringing bells and cow horns, singing etc. If that's not your thing be aware my last 4 trips at least 4 to 6 each visit..

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, will just say if bringing a little one like I did, they celebrate people's birthday's with a cheer and sing happy birthday while playing large metal triangles so prepare to cover their ears :)

Wow what an experience, the staff were so friendly and attentive. A fantastic welcome and Adam was great. Love this place , amazing decor , brilliant food, will definitely visit again.

" Being a country fan...like I am" was a great setting, music playing...staff in hats n shirts great 👍 🤠 I had ribs my cow girl had steak...food service was pretty quick...enough time to take in your surroundings and relax with a drink 😁 Food tasted fresh and was served nice n hot...obviously can't comment on rest of menu as haven't tried it...all in all good experience 👍

Table of 7, 4 adults 3 children. Excellent food, excellent service. Bill was just over £200. Kids menu is ok for our 3 grandchildren. Adult menu os comprehensive. I had full rack of ribs with BBQ sauce which was tasty and meaty.

Wow what an incredible experience! Refund this place by accident and decided to give it a go. The welcome we got from the 3 members of staff at the entrance was fantastic, the decor is amazing! Adam served us and he was so attentive, nothing was to much trouble. The food was delicious,the atmosphere great. We will def be bk a really fantastic experience. Thanks to all staff x

We booked as a family at the Addlestone branch at 7.30, when we arrived our table wasn’t ready, we had to wait 10 minutes, apart from that the service was good as well as the food.

My grandson absolutely loves Smith and Western! We usually come here for birthdays and celebrations, always have a great time - food is great the staff are always friendly and helpful

Had an amazing experience at this restaurant with all my family, it was for my mums 60th birthday food was amazing and staff was very friendly and welcoming would highly recommend this restaurant and will be coming back soon!!!

my daughter took me to lunch for my birthday on the 18/3/2025 and I had the best time. We was served by the manager and I think her name was Katie. She was so friendly and helpful she even gave me an ice cream sundae with a sparkler. Will definitely be going back.

We went for my birthday meal Service was great the girls were lovely and friendly Food was ok I went because of the ribs They were definitely not falling of the bone as described which was very disappointing for me The other meals were all nice And children menu was very good too

I really like this place.Great for family

The decor and atmosphere is great. The kids really enjoyed all of the themed things. The food was tasteless and a real let down. My son enjoyed his steak but the tacos were completely tasteless and had barely any chicken. The nachos were hot but once again didn't taste like much even the brisket wasn't great. The loaded potato skins were dry and horrible. Such a shame

Krav Generation - self-defence. I visited the Smith & Western after teaching Krav Maga self-defence in Jubilee High School. I enjoyed some vegetarian nachos and my partner enjoyed a burger. The positions were more than adequate and certainly were needed after 2 hrs of training. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much for them. They even sang happy birthday to a little girl in the next booth to us. The facilities were very clean and tidy and the western look worked well. Thanks team for accommodating us after our training session at Jubilee High School.

Great American vibes and awesome food.

A really good evening out for my son's 4th birthday. Emily and the rest of the service team were absolutely 5*. Really really good. The food quality was good to excellent. Desserts were great, especially the birthday sharer. I think the only disappointment was the price/quantity, mainly of the starters. Prawns were £9 for 5 smallish prawns. Potato skins were almost the same price, could have done with a better flavour. Chips were a little sparse on the main meals. Kids meals could have been slightly larger.

Expensive for the quality and style of food

Great food, and a big shout to Phillip - without doubt the best waiter who I've ever had serve me, seriously good staff EDIT - I have to come back and edit my review, after a few fairly recent visits (23/24) it's pretty clear the service for larger tables, and/or weekend afternoons has gone pretty downhill - although I still think the food is great. Service staff seem far less diligent than previous review, should focus their attention on table service. Singing happy birthdays is a nice touch and all, but it seems slightly absurd that 4 members of table service sings every time - need to let the waiters focus on serving tables, and provide more thorough training.

The atmosphere is fun, bubbly and in keeping with an American eating place and is decorated as such. The service was really good with the staff all polite and waiting times for food was great even though it was a busy Friday evening. The food was fresh and good quality, tasty and portions big. The mini hot donuts to share was a real treat for after. Many birthday celebration were had and the special pudding and songs were sung to each person through the evening. Brilliant place and can’t wait to come again! Well worth a visit.

The service was great as soon as we entered we were greeted with a smile and taken to our table. The food was excellent size and taste for all of us. Service was quick, even though they were busy. A great evening out for our family.

Came to celebrate my son turning 17,he was dining with his parents yet he was only allowed one half pint of lager. Licencing laws allow you to drink whilst dining but not at this location as I was told they have their own laws.

Me and my partner stumbled across this place whilst staying at the Thorpe Park Hotel, we wanted dinner off site and googled close by restaurants (12 mins drive from Thorpe Park). Me and my partner love anything western or cowboy themed so this was a perfect little find for us. The staff were inviting and friendly, the decor was very impressive, and the food was delicious, fresh and hot. We were looked after by Jake and Katie and the service was amazing. We had such an enjoyable meal and would definitely eat here again😃

Love this place. Just don't expect the kitchen to run at full speed if you pick Friday or Saturday night.... You may have to wait for a few bits.... But, they are worth the wait. Great great place if you have kids, you can even sit in gaol!

Had our company event there last night, firstly I have to say the staff were fantastic and in particular the girl that looked after our table, sorry forgot her name, but all were a credit, had a couple of issues with the food but in general it was great, there was only one thing that disappointed us all was the lack of country music played, which was one of the reasons we chose the place, and the fact no staff member had access to the music, we requested many different songs from different country artists but were told no one in the establishment had access to the music, hope this is something you can consider looking in to as, we would all like to return at some point in the future

Went last week for a mate's birthday dinner. Food was good, would definitely go back to try more. Service was really good, really nice servers. But music was way too loud for any conversation and the smoke made me go outside coughing on a couple of occasions. I know some of the food is sizzling, my dish included, but they need better extractor fans. I feel bad for all the people working there, having to breath that in every day. Apart from that, good, fun atmosphere. Love the bell whenever they take the massive desert to a table celebrating something.

I have booked a 6-persons party with a Birthday Belly Buster dessert and I can't thank enough for making it such a special evening for us. Below a list of things I would like to acknowledge about the venue: 🤠 Very kind and accommodating staff - I have brought the birthday gift earlier and they were so kind to keep it for me and bring it in just right when we sung "Happy Birthday". They also asked me about my preferences around the party and were generally super nice and professional at all times. 🌮 Delicious and nicely served food - an interesting choice of food with a "western" spin, the menu has pics of prepared meals which made it all easier to make a choice. 🐴 Amazing decor - every time I visit this place I am really impressed with the themed decor in the venue, thought through down to the smallest detail things like e.g. saddles instead of chairs, oil lamps, wooden barrels, rifles insted of door handles. Visibly a lot of effort and attention was put into decorating the venue. Big THANK YOU and I am sure I will be back 🙂.

Came here yesterday for my girlfriends birthday, I couldn’t fault it food, Drinks decor and music was amazing. We will Definitely be back, But when booking I ask for the belly buster celebration and we never got it so that was a let down.

Wonderful place, we loved the food but the one negative thing i have to say is that the waitress was very rude when we were trying to order our food. Felt like we were rushed and didn’t have a chance to say what we wanted and if there was any changes to it.

Love this restaurant so much. I have a gluten allergy and they are soooo accommodating, makes me feel so safe. Also the portion sizes are perfect, they fill you up perfectly but you don’t get so full you can’t move and waste food. Everything tastes so goodddd, my boyfriend and I have been there a couple times now. The waitress we had (Emily) was so lovely, so is everyone else there. Defo recommend!!

Went with friends before cinema. Great atmosphere. Waiting staff were all upbeat and polite. Decor is fabulous. The food was great. Will definitely be coming back. Only little thing to mention music a but on the loud side.

we had emily as our server and she was fantastic she was training a lad called will and he was great!! little shy but aren’t we all on our training days, food was lovely i had the veggie fajitas and my friend the half rack of ribs, lovely big portions absolutely delicious

Loved this place. Felt like I was at a bar in the middle of Texas (Yee-Haw!). Food was excellent. We all had racks of ribs which was succulent and very well cooked. Will return for sure.

Lovely setting, the decor is just great. The food was absolutely wonderful and all served promptly and with a smile. Lovely place for afternoon kiddies functions, I saw them handing out balloons to the kids. Highly recommend this establishment.

We wanted to try somewhere different for dinner, and was pleasantly surprised. Lovely tasty food and friendly, efficient service. Would definitely visit again.

Came here once last year and absolutely loved the food, but it was booked for a birthday and we waited for hours for the big birthday cake to come out that we had ordered with the booking, it never came so we left really disappointed as obviously it was supposed to be a surprise. We then thought this year we would give it another chance as we enjoyed the food, again after taking the payment for the birthday cake we yet again didn't receive it. Another birthday surprise ruined..both times we drove an hour and a half there and an hour and a half back. We were also rushed all the way through our meal which was obvious that staff just wanted to leave as we were told when we arrived that we were the last booking. Didn't enjoy this experience at all which is unfortunate as the restaurant and food itself is lovely.

Wow! What an atmosphere! We got the big sharer pudding with fireworks and serenaded with the Happy Birthday song! It was no ones Birthday, but extremely fun and worth every penny! The food was good, my fajitas were a little on the small side, but it was a blessing in disguise, because I had room for puddy and more cocktails.

I've never been to a Smith & Western before so it was a really great experience visiting this one! The entire restaurant is western/cowboy themed including saddle seats at the bar and some booths styled to look like wagons! It was a very busy, lively atmosphere with great food and excellent staff. They have a great range of items on the menu, including drinks and desserts!

Small birthday party, overall very good. We were dissapointed with some of the food as it was over spiced and very hot, but the manageress was quick to respond and did offer a replacement. We will return and hope the food is better

My daughter visited this place twice for 2 different friends birthdays and she loved it, she said I would love it too as I'm a massive lover of country music. So bless her she surprised me and took me for my birthday last week and I absolutely loved the place the waitress was lovely, the whole atmosphere, music and decor is amazing and the food was 5 star 🌟 I even had happy birthday sang to me by the staff as my daughter purchased the birthday belly buster pudding , was slightly embarrassed but loved it really lol. I even recieved a free cow girl hat. Couldn't have asked for a better birthday pressie, would hundred percent recommend this place to anyone . A lovely memory made with my girl

Excellent food service 👌 great place for a friendly night out.

Probably the best place ever eaten at. Food was absolutely fantastic, staff are incredible polite, friendly and professional. The restaurant it's self looked so cool, my kids got so excited over the style, and it was spotless. No crumbs on the floor, tables clean and the toilets where actually really well kept ( unlike most restaurants ) . So happy with the meal costing £98 for me, the wife, 2 kids and picked some of the most expensive meals, including some cocktails, beer, kids milkshake so was worth it. UPDATE- second visit here, amd once again blown away by the quality of the food and service.

This place is absolutely amazing! I love the decorations and the style 😃 The food is really good, we tried the sharing grill plate and it was enough for two starving people 🤣 We also ordered the cherry cake and here it comes my 4 stars: the cake was good, but the ice cream had a strange taste. Not sure if it was the ice cream or the syrup on it but it tasted like soap or expired milk? Not sure but I told it to the waiter and he just said he will check in the kitchen. Then we asked for the bill and he didn’t come back. No discount on the bill neither. Probably they could have done something different here, just come back with a feedback from the kitchen was enough.

Fantastic place! The staff were brilliant, the venue is very well set out western style! The food arrived really fast and was fantastic, even down to dessert that arrived in a little wooden "crate" to share. For the service and food quality, the price was OK for 2 🤠👌 A really good choice made for the last day of a 2 week holiday off work! 100000% recommended!!

The hot TNT sauce was hot 🤬🤬🤬 Loved everything about this restaurant. Big pitchers of lager. The mixed meat selection 🍖 The TNT dressing and let's not forget the decor. The staff were all dressed in cowboy and cowgirl outfits. The whole night was an experience, We loved it ❤️

Second visit this year and this time was not great, firstly lemonade had to be replaced twice as was just fizzy water tasted yuck, then the chicken was just warm, won't be rushing back.

Wouldn't go back, if it was a returnable item I would love to return it all for refund, that disappointed and really not worth the money at all! First walked in very cold! Food average, nothing special no real difference to making it at home. Ordered chicken and was given options of the different types of chips, however was not made aware the curly fries were extra. When questioned at payment, we was given the menu and it was 4 pages previous to the page I ordered off, and as I didn't order of that page where it was indicated I did not see it. Communication wasn't very good on that part especially if you are budgeting to then have extra sprung on you at the end! Also not cleaned very well as there was eaten ribs under the table.
