Got cod bites and chips from here as did my son they were absolutely disgusting...in edible left a disgusting taste in our mouth ...was going to send my partner back with them but he's to tired so in the bin they go wouldnt even feed them to the seagulls

Ordered a bolognase burger which came as just mince. The food was cold. A lot of money spent for runnish

sausage was not cooked the chips were cold & soggy, hardly no kebab meat at all smoothered in garlic sauce & sime hidious tasting meat which I have no idea what it was, the fish was ok but I would never ever use this place again, disappointed just eat actually use this place

although I've had some good food from here before this time the dough on the pizza wasn't cooked enough and I can only assume trying to maintain a quick delivery the quality this time wasn't very good.

Greasiest fish & chips I ve ever seen. I don t know if it was a one off but were dripping and dark brown. Disappointed as it was my sons treat after his school performance

Chips were cold and hard. Were very brown from sitting in cabinet for a long time. Fish was much the same and very greasy. Never again.

Ordered chip butty and 2 x jumbo sausage and chips. Gravy and curry. Sauces and sausage fine but chips were dripping in brown oil (like fryer hasn't been changed in a long time). Bread bun on chip butty was brown with the oil (dark brown) and actual chips had no taste. Bags were also dark brown from the oil. Might be a one off as other reviews are OK but it was truly awful

Chips overcooked and mostly scraps. Fish batter so soggy it tasted like pancake and slid off the fish when I picked it up to put it on the plate. Pizza base tasted like it had sugar on it. Cheesecake portion tiny and bland and I’d expect to pay 99pm from a cheap supermarket. Really disappointed as I’ve ordered from this place before and has no issues.

The southern fried chicken was awful, tasted dry like it had been reheated over and over. Chips were dry.

Ordered food at 2:40pm, called the restaurant at 4:20pm, told me that they never even recieved our order so we never got anything at all. So had to walk to a nearby restaurant for food

After receiving our order and discovering part was missing rang up to complain only to be told by a very unpleasant lady I personally did your order and it was all there she was more or less calling me a liar also the food we did receive was very poor chips were stale and reheated and the carton of curry sauce was like water, overall did not get a good outcome from our complaint.

Items missing of the order food was horrible and cold and when rang the restaurant to mention this customer service was very poor and did nothing to help told me to speak with you guys 🙄 will not be using this place again poor service all round

The bad reviews from years ago were from when the shop was under different ownership. The new family running it are clean, friendly and the food has hugely improved.

Old stale kebab and chips, sauce just poured all over not in a pot, this just makes a mess and leaves everything soggy. Ordered a can of Fanta, they gave me coke and don’t listen to requests, won’t return

I thought I would give you a second chance but that was a mistake my order is thick of old brown oil and chips aren't good pretty disgusting really ,you need to change your oil more often.

I was very unhappy with the food I received, the chips were still soaking wet with oil from frying and were a very dark brown almost burnt, and the spam fritter was like an oil soaked sponge. The battered jumbo sausage was cooked well though. Trying to order was a hassle as well; when selecting the soft drinks it did not bring up a sub menu with what was available so had to write in the notes what was wanted and select a few they might have in stock. When selecting the chips it also did not ask if you wanted salt, vinegar, batter like what would normally happen at a chip shop, and when ordering the jumbo sausage it did not state it was battered, but there were other items on the menu stated as battered. I'm afraid I will be sticking with my local chippy from now on.

I return regularly to this restaurant. Fish especially the haddock is always fresh, well cooked and really delicious.

Half the order is missing and I ordered pop and contacted them verified it was coke which they said it was then they sent half order missing and no coke then when I have rang them to try and resolve this I got told the manager was at home and got told they are too busy to deal with it and nothing they can do it was a 24 pound order I never complain and it’s u acceptable to have missing food and the wrong order even after verifying with them on the telephone afterwards then trying to contact them again to resolve I got told they couldn’t do nothing they sent me pop that we do not like and I specified this and sent half of my order and what’s worse is that they were not interested in helping me dealing with me or anything they said deal with just eat we are busy and we can’t help and put the phone down totally disgusting service, complaints procedure is nil and they can’t even resolve issues or anything I have paid for goods I haven’t got and that were wrong and I’m sorry I wouldn’t normally complain but it’s absolutely disgusting customer service and hospitality will never go back and if just eat dont resolve I will never use again and wish to make a formal complaint. Disappointed this time, cold chips and one fish not fresh and mostly batter, looked like it had been re fried.

Food delivered on time and quickly however chips were dripping in grease and stuck to the paper. Fish was huge but the batter was soggy and dark like the oil hadn’t been changed in a good while. Fish bites batter the same - soggy and wet not crunch to the batter at all, never again unfortunately.

Pizza not very nice, kebab really poor, sauces not great, chips were fine though. Guess it's probably a decent chippy but not good for anything else.

Food was pretty bad, most went uneaten. Gravy had a very odd taste to it, almost black pepper. Driver copped a really bad attitude as i was upstairs when it arrived and didn't hear him knock first time. I apologised but he still gave off a bad attitude. A few years back we ordered from here and it was spot on, don't know whats happened since. Won't be back.

Only good thing to say about this order was the very quick delivery. The chips looked like all the scrappy bits saved over from the previous day, the chicken burger was dry, slightly overcoked and just not appealing, the bolognese burger was just a standard again slightly overcooked burger patty. The curry sauce was a bit too watery for my liking, the smokey sausage was ok. Overall not a very good meal with most of it going in bin. Oh an lastly, thnx for free drinks, unfortunately, i cant drink cola, coca-cola, coke, pepsi or other variants of that drink. Passed them back to the driver...

Food was greasy the chicken in the mixed kebab looked like it had been threw a blender digested then back out the other end the sauce it was in was the worst even thinking about now I can taste it wasn’t nice at all

We very much enjoyed the meal , only downside was the “milkshake” as it was just a bottle of yazoo we thought it was going to be an homemade one and expensive at 1.80£ , other than that will buy the food again..only ticked one star for restaurant review as it is not applicable

Greasy food, awful batter on the fish and pineapple ring and clearly the cheapest of Haggis as it had no taste whatsoever , large fish and chips was more a small portion in most chippy’s and the curry sauce was so watery it tasted like it came straight from the kitchen tap ..will definitely not buy from here again..the only plus side was delivery was 10 mins earlier than predicted ..Sorry for the negative comments but....

Delivery was on time and quick. Food arrived piping hot and good value for money. However the fish and chips were extremely greasy, to the point where our food was dripping in grease. So that did distract from the taste a little bit. There was no option to order mushy peas either.
