Deben haber cambiado de cocinero y personal porque encontré excelente comida y un excelente lugar para relajarme mientras esperaba su tren lejos del ruido y las multitudes de la estación. Fica no interir da estação de trens de Paddington e é bem interessante para lanches e onde fomos muito bem atendidos.

Peligrosamente bajo nivel de conciencia de alergia. No hay menú de alergias, decisión instantánea de que alguien con alergia al maní sería seguro a pesar de tener cacahuetes en la barra. No se sabe de dónde proviene la comida ni cómo se etiquetó. No comimos allí debido a este bajo nivel de seguridad.

Used to take Amex until recently? Have no idea why they would do that since most business people travel through paddington will use Amex

Cabin Bar: Ridiculously expensive for what it is. Service appalling. The blonde lady at the bar was so rude - no eye contact, talking over you, eating a muffin whilst serving, abrupt, eye rolling and everything seemed too much trouble. An older lady there was kind and friendly but I was so shocked by the service I’d never go back. Plus I ordered sweet potato wedges which came undercooked! I sent them back and decided against ordering anything. There’s no way of emailing them or contacting them as I’d much prefer to talk to someone before posting on tA but as there’s no choice to I’ve had to post on here. £5.10 for a single shot of CM rum plus £2.75 for a small bottle of ginger beer... rip off especially when the staff don’t care!

Really expensive £17.50 for a small burger and wedges. Staff were not trained no order to serving just who is in front of them, had to ask twice after ordering a beer for it to be delivered on 2 occasions really poor service

Las estaciones tienden a ser lugares de difícil de encontrar algo de paz y tranquilidad, y por cualquier sitio donde comer para cultivar un ambiente atractivo y acogedor ambiente. El personal está más interesado en sí mismo que los clientes. Gritaban bromas entre ellos y se reían estruendosamente y resoplaban tan fuerte que no podías tener una conversación tú mismo. Este es un difícil lugar a tarifa. En una concurrida estación de tren que realmente necesitas un poco de comodidad, algo de comer y beber, que es rápidamente preparados y de una calidad razonable y tranquilo servicio amable.

Ya he llamado varias veces en este bar de la cabaña y cada vez que el personal no tiene modales y no cuenta con un servicio de atención al cliente

had an hour to kill and the now called Cabin said on the menu aim to serve food in 15 mins perfect, staff were not forthcoming and had to search for one the place was not busy. wine very expensive!! ordered food fishfinger sandwich and chicken burger! Had to chase up after 30 mins and said if not here in 5 we will need to leave! the food arrived my fish was cold in the middle and the chicken wasn't cooked! was told that were sitting on a hot cupboard so should have been warm all the way through, also the burger bun was cremated!! there was never a sorry apology no eye contact extremely poor service all round. The place wasn't clean tables weren't cleared. I did get refunded for our food however about £24 for two sandwiches... ouch! silly me wont go there again!

While waiting for a train I decided to visit the Sloe Bar for a light breakfast and something to drink.

Sadly what used to be a perfectly adequate little bar had had a makeover and is now called Cabin Bar. We wanted two glasses of wine (not house) and paid over £10 each. The wine was admittedly delicious.

First time here and had a nice sandwich and drink (£15) before catching my train, went to use the WC when the manager rudely accused me of not been a buying customer and told me to use the one on the platform....

Surly bar staff who were more interested in chatting to their friends than serving. Also ridiculously expensive for very average wine Definitely would not go back

I came to have a quick bite. The prices were ok. Same as in any other cafe in any London station. But I was surprised how tasty was my sandwich (Chicken Club). Thanks to it I left the place happy 👍

If you’ve got a headache and think that, as a paying customer, you might be able to rest your head in your hands for a few seconds prepare for a staff member to kick your seat to get your attention then tell you that you ‘can’t sleep here’

Es muy conocido el nombre de Paddington cuando visite Londres. Y este bar es único. Su cómoda, incluso con familia.

Mi amigo y yo fuimos mientras espera por una doble. £12.90 para 2 vasos pequeños de vino no muy bueno. Sólo hay un baño compartido con todo el mundo y no sentirse muy limpio. Creo que podrían hacerlo mucho mejor.

Me encantó el desayuno inglés, todo estaba preparado como a mí me gusta. Una cosa buena que te topas con después de regresar desde el aeropuerto. Había mucho espacio para nosotros tener nuestro equipaje al lado de nosotros mientras comes.

Este bar está situado en el corazón de la estación y muy práctico si estás allí por alguna razón. Hacen un delicioso desayuno caliente así como otras opciones. A pesar de que parece blanca bajo personal son siempre muy amable. Lo recomiendo.

Un lugar para esperar su tren para llegar y cenar, mientras se disfruta de una copa de vino o 2. Los precios un poco más caro por las bebidas que andando a un pub cercano, pero se paga por la comodidad.

I took a bus load of friends, about 352 approximately, and we waited 7 hours for the Slow Bar. It was excellent and we will all go there tomorrow again and also next Thursday

Straight forward pub style food. London prices and London quality - a nice safe bet if you need to refuel.

Oh dear, popped in here during the week for a quick bacon sandwich and orange juice, the loud music early in the morning was not really conducive to a good start.So here goes, staff good , facilities well used, toilet disgusting at best, bacon sandwich ok, would I ever return, not if you paid me, as when you see facilities front of house like this, you do have to wonder what it's like back of house.If I was Paddington station owner or landlord there would be some form of service level agreement I would make all my tenants adhere to for cleanliness, as ultimately this reflects badly on them,

It was 11am , I ordered two coffees and two Cheese sandwiches from the full menu. I was then told I could not have the sandwiches as they were still serving breakfast .(The place was nearly empty). and breakfast ended at 11,30 A rather embarrassed waitress told me they turn away a lot of customers late morning not wanting a Breakfast. There was no indication that the full menu was not available. when I pointed this out .A women I prsume was the manager spoke down to me as if I were simple.so I called the customer care teams tel no ( from the back of coffee bill ) and was told the full menu was on offer all day.Breakfast was an addition until 11.30 am.The Manager then added , We run this place not customer care.

I visited this place in Paddington station on my way back from the US. I was hungry and simply wanted a decent sized breakfast and chose the Ultimate Breakfast at just over £9.The food was plentiful but not very hot. It was accompanied by a coffee which was also not particularly hot. The meal was served quite quickly and the service itself was fine.

This was a quick breakfast stop over whilst waiting for a train. Nothing special and very average. Does have wifi though and you can sit 'outside' -

I was expecting a little more from a bar in a main train station in London but was disappointed. The service was slow, the tables were full of dirty glasses and plates. The staff were friendly but there was no atmosphere. Don't think I will bother again.

As others have commented, somewhat tired furnishings and intermittent service. More spacious than Starbucks & more private/secure than Caffè Ritazza. Bacon & sausage baps not exactly lovely but coffee & wifi good, so a port in a storm/decent rendezvous spot.

I was travelling into London and had some time for breakfast and to catch up on emails so stopped here. I found a corner with some privacy but that was the only good thing going for this place. The floors and tables were sticky, lighting terrible and the food was just pathetic especially given how much it had cost! There are so many other places within a 1-5 minutes walk of this place which are better. I can't imagine I'll ever be desperate enough to visit again

Has good, attentive table service disappeared altogether in London? Staff were really not bothered either to serve me or take my payment. when halfway through my meal (good ham, egg & chips!!) my drink hadn't arrived, I spotted it sitting on the bar. When I pointed it out to a waitress and asked her for it (very politely) she shrugged and "hmff-ed" at me... no apology etc.

Just had a quick drink in the sloe bar before my train back to Cornwall. Once I'd left I realised I'd left my headphones. Ran back to check and they weren't there (fair enough). But went to bar to see if they had been handed in. The response of the bar maid when I asked was to laugh! When I asked if she could ask her colleagues to see if they knew anything she did a token effort to walk down the bar, return smiling that there were no headphones. The attitude was so rude it's hard to write without sounding crazy. Horrible horrible place

Where to start. The gin was watered down. The risotto was made with standard long grain rice and therefore watery. The sausage and mash was reasonable though. The nachos looked really very good but sadly I didn't order those! The staff were fine. Yes this is a railways station pub/cafe but unless you're drinking beer or wine its not great.

Visited for a drink whilst waiting for a delayed train. There were only two customers in the cafe besides us yet it took 10 minutes to be served. Obviously whatever the five staff on duty were watching on a mobile phone was more important.Whilst I appreciate where I was but I find a charge of £3.90 for a small coke exorbitant. Probably explains why it was empty.

I ordered a Caesar salad salad with Chicken and while one of the pieces of chicken was suitably succulent etc.. the second piece was dreadful and you only had to look at it to see that it was well past its best, it was the colour of shoe leather and the texture was not far off that either. The rest of the salad was fine but it was rather disappointing to be served something that should really have been thrown into the bin. That said the staff were very friendly and efficient and it was a perfectly good way to kill an hour while waiting for a train

30 Dec 2014 14.30. Sloe not busy. Ordered a half. Barmaid in purple lost concentration due to personal chit chat with lady member of staff in white shirt and she mistakenly poured a pint. I mentioned the error. No apology from her as she stated the price of a pint while chatting to her colleague. I said it must be difficult to hold two conversations. She shrugged. I said to the lady in white that people normally apologise when they make a mistake. She laughed, at least she was not rude and surly like the unpleasant lady in purple. Later, literally deafening music was piped. Like a crummy backstreet pub. Really awful!!

It's so annoying waiting to be served when there seem to be a load of staff doing all sorts of things apart from actually serving. I waited for about 15 minutes. There must have been at least 7 staff around busying themselves doing anything but serve. The one person who was serving had no idea who was next so people were not served in order. Then you pay over £3 for a J20 and £8 for a glass of wine! I know it's Paddington station so it's not going to be cheap but for those sorts of prices you should expect some basic respect from staff - no? Toilets left something t be desired too - soap for one thing,

Considering that this is a concession in a main-line London station, this place was a pleasant surprise. On the downside, the staff don't seem very interested in the customers, and you have to go to the bar to order everything. However the food & drink menu is good, offering a pretty good range from very simple/ small snacks through to full meals (both pub favourites, and eclectic other stuff). Food is brought up promptly. Drinks, including wine list, are not outrageously expensive. The other choices inside Paddington station are not great - this place stands out.

You know that you are in trouble when there are lots of staff looking busy but ignoring customers.We sat at our table and waited for service for 15 minutes. When that did not work I went to the bar and was ignored again. Several staff behind the bar doing things other than serving customers.I was at the bar a couple of times to order and each time the staff seemed to have trouble with the cash registers so I ended up with multiple part bills.The food was served relatively quickly. It was OK - expensive for what it was. They could be a little more generous with the chips.Not a place that I will be rushing back to

Had an hour to wait in the station and I was hungry.Waited at the table for somebody to take my order. I was just getting up 10 minutes later when a waitress strolled over and took my order. The beer arrived straight away and the hot BLT 10 minutes later. The beer was OK but the BLT was pathetic. I didn't know you could get bread that small. The B was reasonable, the T was good and the L was so dry it was like green blotting paper. £5.95 for the BLT was £5 more than it should have been.Coupled with the poor food the place is dirty and looks drab. We used to complain about British Rail catering but now find that the private sector can sink pretty low as well.There are probably better places in the station and certainly outside.

I use Paddington station very regularly but never tried the Sloe Bar.Basic pub grub menu which requires little or no skill and it shows.Classic beef burger was £8.95 to which I added cheese (a kraft cheese slice which had not melted) and bacon (one rasher) both at £0.95 each.Waste of time.Burger was 'stacked' which meant a knife and fork job.Chips were OK and two tiny pots of relish and red sauce.Best I can say is that it filled a space.Place felt like a 70s time warp.The beer ? Well if you like lager you are well in.Heineken,Amstel,Fosters,Pironi and Becks,oh and Guinness and finally Greene King IPA at £4.20 a pint.I shall now permanently return to the Fullers Mad Bishop and Bear on the opposite side of the "retail experience" which at least has a wide range of decent food (pies !) and a good choice of beers other than lager.

Arrived here after a somewhat long train ride from Bath to London Paddington. This is on an upper floor in London Paddington in somewhat of an "island," so it's a good place to relax and keep your luggage safe from all the riff raff away from the masses. It's certainly better than finding a seat on the main floor area among the throngs of people eating a Burger King burger burger while you worry that your luggage will be snatched up. The restaurant also has an "outdoor" patio area that overlooks the train station that provides a great view of the station. This should probably be your preferred area to grab a bite to eat.The food itself was quite forgettable. It's your typical burger/bar food. I ordered a hamburger with fries. The burger was a bit dry but the fries were decent. We also ordered a fish sandwich - fried fish sticks on a bun with lettuce. This was not very good either, though it wasn't inedible. Service was not very good though. You have to order at the bar and the food was a bit slow in arriving.However, this is really just a transit restaurant where you can relax away from the throngs and keep your bags safe.

My review is so titled "limbo" as the Sloe bar is how I imagine limbo to be... It is a waiting room of indifference, however if you were sitting in this waiting room waiting to depart to your eternal home. The unfortunate feeling that your journey would not end in a holy resting place may wash over you due to the unholy amount of fruit flys/midges infesting this bar. It's like a biblical plague that would cause even the likes of Moses to say " sod for a laugh god... I'm off ", I haven't eaten at this place but wouldn't dream of it as I feel my meal may be 63% fly protien. Cleanliness is next to godly next and this place is not the fun kind of sin!!

We ate here on Sunday 14th September. We both chose the ultimate breakfast. Well, what can I say, apart from excellent value. It set us up for all day. My only criticism would be, the black pudding was over cooked, making it hard to eat & that 2 little packets of butter for a round of thick toast (2 slices) was just not enough. I would certainly recommend this place, & if I'm passing again, then I'll call in.

My boyfriend and I often share a few of their tapas style plates together before/after a train from Paddington and I haven't been disappointed. We last visited earlier this week and each had one of the mini fish and chips, some chicken wings to share, and the haddock, cheese and leek fishcake, They were well presented, very tasty, and considering that the bar is right at the centre of one of London's busiest train stations they don't charge an extortionate price - the 4 mini plates we had came to £14.00. I've had breakfast here before which I rememeber being delicious and they serve a large array of drinks. Service isn't the best ever, but it's not bad.... how much time does a waitrer/ess have to spend on you when having to serve hundreds of customers at rush hour? You get what you pay for here, no complaints!

I would recommend this restaurant.My son (16) and I took a short break to London between 10th and 13th August. We stayed near Paddington and used Sloe Bar for a breakfast , a dinner and a light meal during our stay.The food was excellent on all three occasions - my only complaint being the over buttered garlic flat bread which I fed back to them, and followed up online at www.eatonthemove.com/gbService was speedy, in fact Sloe offer a free meal if certain meals don't arrive with you on time - check the menu for information. Staff were all very friendly and happy to help.Get yourself a Bite card - free online as this makes the meal even better value currently giving 20% discount at Sloe and other eateries at stations.My only other comment which has been picked up by someone else too, is that the furniture is 'tired' and needs updating. Again I fed this back to the company.

We were looking for somewhere to eat on our way home. We walked in to the bar and had just sat down and was asked if they could get us anything. We had a good drink then we ordered our food

I had 40 minutes to wait for my train so thought i would pop in for a bite to eat.Not only was the customer service despicable but the food was horrendous! I waited 25 minutes which is fair enough but the presentation was really bad and also one of the waitress's hair was in my food!I would strongly advise people to steer clear and go somewhere else!

Breakfast on route to Wales. This is not my first visit to Sloe. Today's breakfast was ok. No table service had to rush to the bar to order at breakfast finishes at 12 and time is 11.40. Good coffee. Nice English breakfast... toast not good... W's like untoasted bread, not a hint of colour you expect when under or in a toaster. Just warm. Good wi Fi in the area though.

Like many people I was delayed for a couple of hours due to lightning strikes. Ordered a burger and fries. Burger ok fries very good. Service was ok until it got busy.

Good clean place to chill out while waiting for your train. Expensive but as long as you have a bite card the price becomes reasonable. Will visit again when around. The service is good.

The first thing that hits you about this bar is the worn nature of the seating. the sofas look about 50 years old, and not in a good way. The service is slow (not the waiters fault, just not enough of them) and the quality of the food is terrible (again, not the cooking itself: the breakfast was well cooked, its just the ingredients were of the lowest quality).

Shocking complacency at this venue, sure it's a station bar but failing to bring out food with 45 mins when nearly empty is unforgivable.. had to leave before anything came out!Also told me there was a special on basic prosecco, AFTER taking the money for the more expensive bottle..The Fullers pub on the top floor offers better service and quality.

Shocking! Whilst the bar serves all the usual, the food was nothing short if a joke .... Breads and dips consisted of 1 slice of white bread cut in half and a pot of oil...really!

But that's pretty much all you can say that's positive. The food was grim and tea weak, not expensive but not worth £6 for breakfast either.

I don't usually write negative reviews but this place really is the pits. Terrible 'service' and rude staff. After paying my bill to one of the staff and leaving, another member of staff chased up to me and my elderly father and told me that I had not paid. He didn't even apologise for his mistake. What a terrible place. If I was responsible for managing it, I'd be ashamed of myself.

Have been here a couple of times in the past week. I thought the english breakfast was pretty good for the money - with the exception of the sausage which was horrid. The chicken wings with a choice of dips were nice. The coffee and tea are fine. Wine is expensive (£6.50 for a large pinot grigio) but this price is no worse than the other pub at the station. This place serves a purpose - if you have time to kill whilst waiting for a train it works. But it isn't anything special and the staff vary in their helpfulness.

I’ve been here a few times and up until my experience on Sunday I would’ve given 4 stars. There are definitely worse station bars to while away a delay in. I ate scampi and chips there a few weeks back and although the portion was small it arrived quickly and was OK – slightly watery/defrosted scampi but nothing that got me riled enough to write a bad review. After a dreadful journey to Paddington on Sunday I was really hungry, so ordered the mushroom ravioli. The ravioli arrived quickly and although it was a tiny portion, it looked stunning and was steaming hot so I tucked in. Took me a while to work out why it wasn’t heated uniformly – and at about the same time my fork hit a frozen bit of ravioli. Yup. The middle of my ravioli was frozen solid – about the size of a 20 pence piece. Come on guys – if you are going to reheat stuff, at least do it properly. It made me feel ill for the rest of my journey. Urgh. I won’t be eating here again – possibly will pop in for a beer as the staff are usually friendly and attentive, but will be going elsewhere within Paddington for food.

Wanted a reasonable meal before train journey home. Disappointed no Children's menu so had to order frontage adult. Burger that arrived was still raw inside which didn't impress the kids. On the plus side, service was good but that was the only plus

Unless every where else is full don't bother trying to eat here. I had the chicken ceaser salad. It takes an expert to ruin a salad. Beleive me they have one in the kitchen. The chicken was grilled but god knows when, then reheated in a microwave, the croutons were stale and the dressing to vinegary. Stick to tea and coffee of you can get any service.

My wife and I only wanted a coffee in reasonably nice surroundings. Order taken and then we just sat waiting. Having spoken with the waitress who confirmed that the order had been passed on, she didn't go to check any further but served another customer. Not impressed. Saw the man operating the coffee machines and he took orders from the bar making them up instantly - long after we'd put ours in. Needless to say, we left.

I sat for 15 minutes opposite the entrance into the main bar area. Despite advertising "FULL TABLE SERVICE" and being about a quarter full and overstaffed I was ignored for fifteen minutes. Countless passes by staff made me eventually feel invisible. An eventual complaint to the duty manager got me an apology and a free diet coke but no explanation. The staff were obviously listening in to my polite but honest complaint. Do they want to sell food here or ignore people and make them feel unwelcome?

Sloe bar offers fast and efficient service while maintaining a pleasant atmosphere. The seating ranges from tables and chairs to low seating and coffee tables - something for everyone. Although the food falls into the basic category in some ways - breakfast sandwiches, English Breakfast, pizzas - the dishes are well presented, nicely cooked and there are special touches such as the very pleasant vegetarian breakfast and the range of pizza toppings.

I met a friend here for a drink after work and was pleasantly surprised at how busy it was and it's changed decor since my last visit. Service was not great. I ordered a 125ml glass of wine (even stating the measurement) and they brought me a 175ml glass. We then decided to stay and eat mainly prompted by the table service offered. The menu looked okay but there was a lot of bread and dough based products. We both ordered tomato soup which was tasty but watery. We ordered another drink each from the waitress but my drink didn't arrive. Neither of us had finished our starters when our mains arrived with no recognition or acknowledgement that this was unusual. The plates were plonked down despite there not being much room and we were left with trying to quickly finish the starters before our mains went cold....our next drink order, from a different waiter, who seemed to pick up some of our dissatisfaction, arrived quickly and correctly. Overall an average experience.

Decided to try breakfast here whilst waiting for a train. I wasn't expecting too much to be honest and was pleasantly suprised. The price was very good considering you are at paddington train station, i expected to pay a lot more. the food was pretty standard. Service also average. But suited me fine. If your looking for something a bit special i would not recommend but if your just looking to fill a hunger craving, i would give it a go.

Thought I would try this place, as usually go to the mad bishop and bear, but this offered table service. Service speed was fine, so maybe they've taken on board some of the earlier criticisms? The price point isn't really bad, I mean you can't expect much cheat than 8.50 for a burger in a pub in the middle of London, right in a station concourse. What you can expect however is your burger to be made with cheap mince and not to have the fat drained! Squeeze into it and loads of fat oozes out! Taking everything into consideration, this place just about scrapes an average I think.

Tried it to kill time before a train. Upstairs open sitting and eating area. Few customers. Went to the counter to make myself known. Still waiting 30minutes later. Several tables, including mine only partially cleared/cleaned. Eventual meal indifferent and not cheap. Suggest you wait in one of the lounges and if you need food gather up a picnic from one of the concourse supermarkets.

Sloe bar and just as slow service, sticky tables, chairs and plates that need a damn good clean. Food at prices you need a second mortgage for and some staff need to learn the phrases Please and Thank you. I am a regular traveller through London and I will in the future go else where for a bite to eat, the coffee shop has far better service.

Bar Sloe has a great view of the bar area of Paddington station but not much else to offer. It took the waiter twenty minutes to approach our table even though only three other tables were occupied. This meant that we only had time for coffee before catching our train. The coffee was not even luke warm when it arrived. "Fresh" replacements were offered - but too late. Stick to the ground floor.

I met a business contact, at their request, at the Sloe bar. I wasn't expecting it to be up to much having read some of the other reviews (not just here but elsewhere) so my low expectations were exceeded.I would go again. I cannot vouch for the food, having only had a drink. It was clean, service was okay and the toilets weren't bad. There was an extra guest or two, a few moth eaten pidgeons flew in much to the distaste of one of the people realxing on one of the sofas. I don't think this is the best place in the station but then if you want upmarket drinks I would suggst pushing the boat out and going to Searcy's champagne bar. I would probably get food for the M&S just in case. It's a bar and a good place to meet. I would meet people there again as it was okay.

I stopped here for a quick bite before taking a long train journey and it was a very poor decision. The food was expensive and not very good (I had the burger and it tasted metallic) and the service was appalling (rude, aggressive when I queried the food, and very slow). It's a great location but I think they use that to milk the customers. You are much better served to go to the M&S downstairs and pick up some quality sandwiches etc for your meal

Slow, very abrupt service, expensive for very little food - what a hell hole. We stopped when we had an hour to spare before a train. The menu was reasonable but the service was terrible - very matter of fact and we sat there a good 10 mins before we were even acknowledged. There was a long delay when we wanted to pay the bill and the card machine was near enough thrown at us when we complained. We won't return.

Stopped in sloe as we had a couple of hours until train home. Didnt know whether to wait for waiter or order at bar but as Staff walked past us several times and completely ignored us when trying to get their attention. I went into the bar to get two drinks. there werent any menus on the outside tables so had to go search for one. on my return from the bar i saw the waiter serving people that had just walked in, so perhaps it was just us he didnt like lol about 20 minutes after we finished our drinks the waiter came over and just tapped the menu and said 'order?' I decided i'd had enough and went to order from the pub on the top floor where we had really good fast service from friendly staff.

My husband and I went to sloe bar for some brunch. We both got a bacon and egg roll and we couldn't believe how many rashers of bacon were in the roll! It was amazing. Egg was cooked to perfection, bacon was also cooked well and to be honest this is one of the best bacon and egg rolls I have had in ages. The service was quick and the staff were really friendly and efficient. If I am ever in paddington station again this is a definite stop for me.

The service does not hang together the staff appear harrassed appear to need training you sometimes have a long wait for food not what you want when catching trains.They serve breakfast but no marmalade.

I stopped here for a quick meal with colleagues before catching a train back home. Everyone was pleased with their meals, the flatbread pizzas and the chips were particularly good. The food was also served very quickly, which is obviously important if you want something quick to eat before catching a train.

A cafe on a main line station, it's going to be bad quality overpriced food right? Wrong! I had one of the nicest s pizzas I've ever had (seriously!) with a side salad that cost 75p extra. I mean how good it that. Two people for under £20 with a beer too. Fast efficient service too. Eat here before you choose one of the slow service and poor quality local restaurants.

We always call here for breakfast or just a coffee before catching the train.Friendly efficient staff, good food and good for people watching from the balcony.Good prices especially if you have a Bite card...Latest visit on Friday was as good as usual.

Everytime I visit London I dread having to find decent food and drink in a place that is clean, comfortable, and not trying to rip me off! Well, I've found just the right place at Sloes Bar at Paddington Train Station. I thoroughly recommend it. Great staff too.

Left Riyadh to London on BA overnight flight, had to sleep the whole time in the plane to catch a back to back full day of meetings in London. Arrived to LHR 5:45 AM did not get a chance to eat breakfast in prior to landing, the the airport around 6:30 AM took the express to Paddington arrived there around 7 AM, got a chance to see the waitres in Sloe Bar preparing and I went out inside, requested a vegetarian breakfast with youghort and coffee, service, quality of food, all in all was a nice start which kept me all the way to dinner ...Don't miss it if you are in Paddington Station area ...
