Reservamos una cena para dos en Kimos, utilizando un bono que compra de un sitio web en línea de oferta, Kimos porteros y hizo una reserva para el 23 de marzo a las 7.00 pm, llegamos al restaurante en 6,55 pm y el restaurante estaba cerrado (lo que significa que las persianas). llamó al teléfono fijo que fuimos a un buzón de voz, sin embargo tienen un móvil en la voz que te pueden llamar. Llamé a la mobile y hablé con una mujer llamada Rachel, que alegó el restaurante había estado cerrada durante toda la semana debido a circunstancias imprevistas y que no tenía constancia de mi reserva. Sin embargo dijo que estaban haciendo una fiesta en el restaurante más tarde esa noche y me preguntaba si estaría viajando? Para que me estaba confuso, ya que pagué por una comida de tres platos para dos no una tarde por la noche. Rachel se disculpó y tomó mi número de teléfono me prometió volver al día siguiente con un fresco reserva para canjear mi vale, por hoy esto Rachel todavía no ha llamado, así que básicamente he estado coned de £16,00 . Para cualquiera que esté pensando en comprar los bonos o pensando en una mesa en mejor les caían eran Kimo's, no el servicio al cliente es horrible y desorganizado, ve como algodón's, Mango o Bamboula.

Went for lunch and on arrival saw a few people sitting at the bar they all looked over so waited by the door for a member of staff to acknowledge me. After waiting I eventually walked in to ask if anyone was serving turns out one of the 3 people was the waitress. I felt she should at least have acknowledged me so I wasn't standing there like a lemon. She was nice enough after that and very accommodating but I was the only diner so she wasn't rushed off her feet. I wasn't given a menu, she reeled the choices off the top of her head. The food was nice enough Caribbean food, nothing too special in terms of taste more along the lines of good take-away comfort food, though it was very well presented.Perhaps because there were no other diners there wasn't an atmosphere just a TV on with music videos playing - but this is a bar and restaurant and seems more bar/club oriented as the dining tables are shoved against the wall to give a dance floor area. But I can imagine it gets lively when it's full and comfortable for patrons to have the few tables at the sides and the comfy leather couches that are also there to sit on and decent enough well-presented food to eat.For a fairly laid-back lunch with nice enough food you can't go wrong.

The food is good value here but that is about it. It is certainly not a place where you would take someone if you wanted to impress them. The decor is dated and the place looks cheap and rundown. The staff are not particularly friendly, in fact the lady who takes reservations over the phone was particularly rude when there was a mix up over a booking. I would not go here again. I would sooner pay a little more to go to a Caribbean place with some class.
