Slice Pizza Takeaway in Moyle

We were so pleased to see a new pizza shop in Bushmills we ignored the reviews (only ever negative ones that post on anything we thought?!) and ordered tonight. Competitively priced, local and not a Dominoes - all plus points. That’s the only positive! Ordered online and we were the first order after opening this evening picking up so there was absolutely no excuse to serve us an underdone, raw in the centre pizza with thick congealed cheese barely melted and with absolutely no colour on it. Topping ingredients were cheap looking, and the base was so badly stretched it was somewhere between an Italian base and deep pan. Also they had no garlic Mayo available and asked if we would accept one of the other dips instead… took BBQ only as had pre-paid on the app and it was easier to just take something, I wouldn’t have ordered this if I knew garlic Mayo wasn’t available. The fresh dough balls on the counter look great when you walk in but the pizza that comes out of the ovens are a massive disappointment. Wish I had taken a photo to attach to this but honestly a supermarket oven pizza would have been better. Garlic bread was ok, no issues but nothing spectacular either. This was the first order I have ever driven back to a takeaway to return, and to their credit they refunded the order on the spot. Hopefully not because they are used to doing so! I seriously hope they get better and manage to stay open as we would love a local pizza shop but we won’t be back soon, sorry!

Pizza not cooked, garlic bread like a brick and chip portions small and very soggy. Sorry Slice very disappointed 😥

I ordered a small donner with chilli sauce from a very pleasant young man at the counter, 20 minutes later my food was ready, I sat on the bench just outside to the right of the building to eat my meal, upon opening the donner looked as though it had been poached in water, the nan bread looked as though it had been on the floor, it was bone dry, snapped like a cracker and just crumbled in my fingers, totally inedible, the donner meat was mostly cols and totally devoid of flavour, the chilli sauce served in a tub was nothing more than watered down jam with no chilli taste whatsoever, there was no salad with this kebeb, admittedly I did,nt ask for salad but it was not offered, even so I did expect some salad, I spent the next 24 hours with severe stomach cramps and a sleepless night, I returned my package to the store person in charge to ask he could dispose of it without telling him awfull it was and he was very rude and bordering on aggressive, do not touch slice pizza with a very very long barge pole.

Not worth a visit or the money. Small portions for what you pay, pizza not cooked long enough and was very doughy. Avoid this place, really disappointing!!

Ordered two pizzas. Terrible. Far too much cheese. Not cooked long enough. No taste. Its hard to get pizza wrong but they have managed it. Straight home for a little wing to right this wrong.

Very slow service, the pizza dough was terrible, all three pizzas were undercooked and soggy. Kebab bread was like cardboard and the meat was not cooked from fresh, avoid!!

Decent menu of pizza’s, burgers, kebabs etc. We had a couple of different pizza’s which were loaded with lots of lovely toppings. Covid-19 restrictions are applied; hand sanitizers, only 1 person permitted on the premises etc

Ordered from slice ballymoney tonight and must say its the worst ive seen from a food place in all my life 3 workers standing there looking like they hadn't a clue what they were doing got home and opened my pizza and omg a child could of made a better job of it hardly any toppings was cold and wasn't even sliced in proper slices was hacked in all shapes hjsbands crazy chips was also a sight for sore eyes and afterwards the pains in our stomachs was unreal wont be eating from here again food we got for the price was ridiculous seriously need to do better

Nearly didnt go here because of bad reviews, but it was so good. All fresh ingredients and very very nice. Will be back!

Ignore the bad reviews...... Tried this place for first time tonight ordered the full house 12inch everything was as it should be, perfect layer of sauce a generous layer of toppings and most importantly a perfect layer of cheese. At last this area has a place for great pizza well done on a great job, will be back soon....As you were. P.S The staff were very friendly and efficient :)

good pizzas, didn't skimp on toppings, had a pepperoni and it was nice! Boyfriend had kebab and said the house sauce was good too but was quite spicy! staff were really friendly and helpful. definitely be back when in that neck of the woods, really enjoyed it!

Called into Slice one evening about a week after they opened. Ordered a margarita pizza, portion of chips and a kebab to take out. The shop was empty, just me and my order, yet it took them the guts of an hour to get me my order. I assumed because it had taken so long to process my order the food would be amazing - wrong, it was dreadful, the pizza had 3 strands of cheese, the sauce was extremely tangy/sour and the pizza was raw in the middle, the chips were oily and the kebab had barely any chicken. All in all a disappointment, will definitely not be back. If you like pizza or food in general -Do not try here

Ordered a margarita and the Hot Hot pizza as a meal deal. Margarita was fine, but no spice whatsoever on the ‘Hot Hot’ pizza. Only pepperoni, few thin slices of peppers, and tomato sauce (not chilli tomato sauce as stated on the menu) on top. Had ordered large pizzas but they were weren’t that large. We were still hungry! They were tasty enough pizzas just not what was advertised.

Went here couple of days after they opened food was awful waited over an hour for the food to be ready then when got home the portions where small chips under cooked bacon burnt and don’t even start me on the so called chicken kebab 4 slices of sandwich chicken on half cooked chips wasn’t asked if I wanted salad sauce or nothing the staff are definitely under skilled and not used to working in such an environment this place could have done so well but they use cheap food and it shows there pizza weren’t the worst but we had to cook them at home as still doughy in the middle and hardly any cheese on it
