I understand that places can get busy but I called 5 times to no answer. I got frustrated and ready to go down in person and rang one more time and they finally answered. The man over the phone was then rude (understandable maybe as it was busy and I might have been a little hangry) and when my food did arrive it was no where near the quality I would expect. It was a Rogan Josh which all I tasted was salt, chilli and disappointment. Standards of this place have seriously went down since the previous owner but this is by far the worst I have had. Was a loyal customer but seriously considering never going back. This place is no longer worthy of the name "Kebab King"

Family camping trip 2 weeks ago . Was sceptical of ordering after reading reviews but thought we'd try for ourselves but regretted it. 2 large mixed kebabs on nann @ £8 each. Kids got a 12" pizza which was v tasty but kebabs were such a let down. 3 onion baji, 3 lumps of chicken mostly batter/coating tho & lots of sliced chicken/ham )still unsure which) in a horrible red sauce, garlic mayo & cheese which is an extra cost 4 a few sprinkles. Iceland's onion bajis r 10 times tastier & without peas thankfully. Upside was d large chip we paid 4 was actually a large chip but won't be paying a 2nd visit.

I hand kebab few weeks ago it was the best I have eating

My order tonight was very disappointing, lamb doner kabab was fine but my chicken tikka kabab on naan bread was very disappointing. It is normally made up of chunks of chicken breast but tonights one was just very small pieces of chicken with lots of fat and even some chicken skin mixed in. I had to pick through my meal to get any decent pieces of chicken alot of my meal went in the bin. I would normally give a 4 star for my meal but this one only warrants 2.

I ordered a beef madras curry from this place yesterday. It was a big disappointment. I've never seen a bright red madras before but this is what I got. I counted three morsels of beef. It was swimming in oil, perhaps half a cm just floating on the top. It was super hot probably more vindaloo strength perhaps to mask the lack of taste. I ordered pilau rice but was given plain rice. All this cost me more than £9. You can get a main course in some restaurants here for that money. I couldn't eat it and wont be going back. I take no pleasure from writing negative reviews for local businesses but they need to do a lot better.

I have personally been inside of their kitchen after speaking to them about a complaint, I have seen how they wash their dishes, dirty old sponges, using no form of washing liquid, nor was there any steam coming off of the water from the tap, so I can only assume they use cold or luke warm water. Personally, I have never ate from this place more than once, and my first experience was not good. The store has been recently been bought over by new management, although the same employees along with the employee I seen washing those dishes that day, seem to remain working there. They, "live", in the store, (which is illegal as this is a commercial building) two months ago it was two employees sleeping in the back & now, since my last speaking with them, the new manager has told me personally, he sleeps in the back, after promising it would be for one night only, and laughing in my face within the store when I confronted him on his late night noise, he has been sleeping there every night for the last 10 days, this is against health & safety, I find it appalling, the lack of hygiene and respect these folk have I haven't had a full uninterrupted night of sleep since this ordeal has began. I would not recommend eating from this place.

Not the best Kebab. Swimming in sauce to point it's uneatable. I would guess offering Indian, pizza and other dishes may have something to do with it. Maybe I'm just use to my award winning local.

This used to be my favourite place to eat. Never eating here ever again. Under new management and they have ballsed it right up!

Without a doubt the worst takeaway in Ballycastle. Especially avoid what they claim to be curry, korma or any variation. All chicken is disgusting. And got given a "naan" that was in fact a pizza base with dried herbs on it. That was definitely the last chance I was willing to give them, never again.

Nice genuine Indian curry my fave.

Tandoori chicken main dish £10.50. Serves 2, Really good deal. Quality Curry dish served in 3 parts. Rice or naan or chips with veg curry and tandoori chicken/veg mix. Can get it mild, med or hot, I got mild and there was a little kick, just right for me. I got rice with the dish and bought a sweet naan as xtra (do this if you're big eaters, £12.50 in total) which is tasty together or you can get poppadoms and crush them over the curry (a little tip from the owner).

Attitude of staff is disgusting and charged me for a bottle of coke and didnt even get the coke but they still took the money! Absolutely disgusted!

Over-priced and sub-par Indian food. The curries we ordered were bland, and the chilli heat was harsh, and obviously from lots of powder rather than fresh chillies. The Chicken Pakora was like cardboard, and the Naan bread was poor, and clearly just bought in from some cheap distributor. Two curries with rice, a portion of Bombay Potatoes, a Chicken Pakora and a Naan bread came to nearly £35. For a good quality Indian takeaway, £35 would have been OK, but for this place? About £30 too much.

Decent take away with some fairly tasty vegetarian options and good naan bread. The sweet naan was too sweet for my taste, as was the chana masala. But the Aloo Saag was delicious.
