Love it here and the staff are very friendly. They always look after us very well, we travel from Preston and have never been disappointed, been coming for 3 years.

Staff is rude. They don't know how to speak with customers. They charged us extra for nan bread, which is included in the dish. Additionally, the fish was completely burnt from one side.

Never ever go here it's like hell earlier today I had a doughnut it tasting heaven and this was like eating a soggy cold miserable hell it tastes like cardboard if i could I would rate it -1the staff had no manners I got a portion of fries and it never came never come here they didn't fail to disappoint us

Earlier i had a doughnut that tasted like heaven and this restaurant tasted like a soggy cold miserable hell the food was absolutely flavourless we ordered a portion of fries and they never delivered it even after we told them the staff had no manners if i could i would give - 100 stars they were way to overpriced for a family meal costing 40 bucks never would recommended it tasted like cardboard I recently went to Liverpool and that restaurant was 10000000 times better never go here save yourself from this nightmare also they screwed up our order never come its like hell

A pleasent small and well decorated restaurant. The staff were all good in their jobs. The food was very good but not excellent because of the lamb kebab which didn't taste perfect and the naans were dry however the lamb tikka tasty. The biryani was also tasty just like the way the east asians cook it.

The best kurdish restaurant I have ever been to and i have been to a lot. The food tastes amazing, the staff were friendly,we got served super quick and the price for what you get was outstanding. 🥰😊

I have been to this restaurant several times now. Budget friendly and nice atmosphere. They serve lentil soup while you wait for food and self serve qawa at the end of the meal is the best. They serve quiet good food choices on their menu. My children like their pizza and i usually go for the other grilled food. However, when opened initially their shawarma was the best. But with time the quality and quantity decreased and price increased. Their drinks are not at all nice and i will not recommend. They do not provide tap water which is a major downside and charge for a bottle of water is high.

The atmosphere is always great. Nice lentil soup and tea always available. The food is always great fresh and lovely prepared. Recommend chicken wings grills and sharwarmas. The Lamb quozi is another favourite of mine.

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. The food was great and really delicious under the service excellent. The prices are really great for the amount of food. I thank the owner form the heart for not being greedy because for the same food other restaurants demand more money.

The food is nice but quite mild. They should serve some kind of fresh spicy tomato sauce kind of thing... but overall nice place to visit with family or friends

The chops were burned. The fish was ok. The lamb kebab was cold. Bread was cold. I asked for warm bread and got another cold bread. Expensive for quality of food. Not recommended.

TERRIBLE! Rude staff, very bad customer service. Unclean tables, slow service, average food and small portion sizes. Don't even serve water. Unreasonable prices according to these poor standards. Awful experience. NOT recommended. Note: There are plenty of other great Afghan/Turkish/Arab restaurants on the same road nearby. My all time favourite is 'Jafra' who serve Palestinian food and have even boycotted Coke in support of Palestine.

Absolutely love this place. Amazing Turkish food. Huge portions very reasonably priced. Staff was lovely and they gave complimentary tea too. Ordered mix shawarma platter, spicy pizza, chicken fatayer and hummus. Came with Naan and salad.

Kobida was absolutely rubbish, it states “lamb or chicken” buh let me tell you it’s about 15% meat & 85% fat, really disappointed all other food was average though not too good nor too bad, your better off going to kobida palace just down the road. Staff looked so confused, they were having communication issues, anything you ask them they’ll either nod their head & say “yes” otherwise “sorry?” (As in they don’t understand what you’re saying). The one thing i like about this restaurant is that they have a free unlimited kawa (Turkish tea) facility.

I have been there twice and might get there again soon. Kurdish Kebab’s were delicious. I recommend it.

They have really good quality ingredients and an amazing grill master. Everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The mains came piping hot. It is one of the best food per pound in Manchester.

Our family has been attending this restaurant for a few years. The food is on point, the service is not the best but the atmosphere makes up for it. Overall a decent place to visit.

The food is really nice here, it's a shame that the waiters at this restaurant don't deliver service very well. If anyone has any allergies it might be very difficult to explain to them and find out whether their food will be safe to eat.

EDIT: The last couple times I've been I have had to wait longer than 40 minutes for my food while other people get served first. The staff are aware and keep you updated and gave us chicken broth in the meantime, and then an extra piece of gosht in our quzy. Extremely apologetic too ************* My favourite place to eat in Manchester. The best food and the best staff. I come here at least once a week. Their lamb kebab is incredible. I've never had a kebab that I haven't needed sauce to flavour it. But here I'm happy with just the bread and meat. So flavoursome.

Excellent food and value for money. If you like Arabic food that is done just right and at an affordable price, you won't be disappointed. I have dined here a few times and the service and food is excellent for the money you're paying.

It's the worst Kebab i've ever eaten it was burnt and salty I drunk a lot of water with it I just eat a small piece I couldn't finish it. I don't recommend and I'm not going there anymore.

The food wasn't great, and it made me and my friends feel sick. Something was off with the fish, maybe it was old. Even the rice wasn't good. Bad oil. Overall, not a pleasant experience.

They make good pizza, prices are not high. Though dishes of some biryani prices are high, but quality of food is good.

One of the worst middle eastren in general, and kurdish restaurant specially that I have been to. The foot was terrible , ordered fish and it smelt and tasted very bad i think it was old and reheated one. And we ordered a couple of shawrmas , where were also terrible to eat. Also not to forget the soup didnt taste anything like lintel spup. The service was poor. They didnt take our order but instead asked two whole families to go to counter to order. Contrary to other kurdish or middle eastren restaurant we been to. The waitress near the end of our food asked us to leave saying there are other families waiting which shocked us. And we asked for some tea, which we were told to bring it ourselves. I definitelt recommend to avoid there. As ther are way better restaurants. And dont waste your, money, time and appetite there.

The food and shish kebabs are really good, the rice as well. The atmosphere is nice as well! I definitely recommend this place, the hygiene also seemed to be on point.

Great food and decent service, would have given 5 stars but as nice as the staff were only one member of staff actually smiled the entire time we were there. The food though, wow. Can't wait to go again. Highly recommend.

Wonderful service, delicious food, particularly the mixed salad. The atmosphere becomes nice where your friends are. It was very good over there.

Excellent and fast service, good portions of food served hot and for a great price. Comfortable space to sit upstairs or downstairs with a prayer area also.

I did not like the food or staff as they were not polite at all. Food did not take long but my soup tasted very off and the kitchen looked dodgy.

The food was good. Served is well. Only issue was they were playing content from YouTube one the screens. And some very indecent and inappropriate content was being played. So I requested the manager to please change it as we are Muslims and came here to dine with family and kids. And the content is not age appropriate. So they listened to us and apologised for it and changed it.

I love this place. You can eat for a reasonable price, various options to suit varioious budgets, nice place to eat and tasty complementary daal soup and arabic tea.

I arrived on 13/8 and the place was packed. The lady that run the front of house offered me a table downstairs. The downstairs area was dark . So I decided to go for a walk and come back in an hour. I was offered a big table, and I asked the person in charge if she was sure to which she responded yes. The food came fast was nice though over salted. The major issue was towards the end of my meal. A big group of new guests arrived and kept staring towards my direction. The lady in charge also kept pointing to my direction. I am half way through my lamb chops. One of the men waiting for the table sits on my table without asking. The person in charge of the front of house says nothing. I tell politely to the ignorant being on my table that he is being ignorant and he remains ignorant. I ask the lady in charge for coffee. We don't do coffe says she and walks away. No dessert offered and no thanks. So I leave with the last bit of my lamb chops still in my mouth. I pay at the till, and the usual courtesy of asking if things were ok has been replaced by "16 pounds". And that's it. Not even a good bye. As a food writer I dine in many international restaurants. I don't expect service with a smile. At the same time never have I seen such disrespectful behaviour from other guests and what is worse the owners of the house did nothing about it instead they joined in to make me feel unwelcome. I was literally pushed out so that the restaurant could make money from a big table. How about you tell people that the table is for 1 hour - I spent less than an hour in the place. At least this way the guest has a choice. I am ok with that. Or ask me if I mind sharing my table, to I would have gladly said yes. It seems that Slemani's owners are happy with the amount of customers they have. One less for you from today and many more will hear the story.

Excellent place beautiful table service from lovely employees Amazing Mediterranean choice of food would definitely recommend anyone in the area to try. Free self serve tea and chicken soup available after food. Give it a try.

It was very good place for family to go there and spent some time with their family and friends the food was very nice and I loved it this was my second time to went there with my family and had lots of fun and enjoying the food I'm so pleased

Excellent service and absolutely gorgeous meals are provided at this lovely restaurant. You will not have to wait long at all. The cuisine was excellent. Everything was wonderful, and I will most surely return soon. Thank you for the delicious food; it was certainly among the best Turkish food on Wilmslow Road.
