Incredible manakish, both the toppings and the dough were really nice 10/10. Would've given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the extremely loud music, you could barely hear yourself.

I inquired at the reception whether the vine leaves were prepared fresh in the restaurant or sourced from cans. She assured me they were not from cans. However, upon opening them at home, we discovered they were indeed canned.

Seats are horrible, wood and sticky tables. I give it 0/10 Food is nice 7/10 Service the guys are nice. The store is a refrigerator. The air conditioner is above the head, and the chairs and table are made of lime wood with glue.

From time to time I visit Mr. Manakish. The food is always delicious and fresh. The pastries are delicious, yum yum, but they lack drinks. They have nothing except tea, which in my opinion is not good and needs improvement. 🌺💖

I received the order incomplete and I paid the full amount. Where is the Coke that I ordered with the burger?

Wow this was amazing. I order the grilled chicken burger and it was spectacular. It came with melted cheese, lettuce, pickles and of course the chicken. As shown in the picture it was seasoned with a secret seasoning and wow this burger was one of the best I’ve ever had!

Food is as always amazing. Service depends on who is behind the counter. Prices used to be reasonable but now leans on the pricey side.

You can't ignore the rich flavour of their Lebanese Mankosha, they kept the real delicious flavour of the real Lebanese street food which is iconic to have it after being so far away from home

Now I held back giving a review to give them a chance in hope I didn’t catch them on a bad day but after 5th visit there im still experiencing the same problem First of all food is good but it’s not consistent, it’s like a lucky dip if the person who’s making it is having a good day or not Secondly their customer service is shocking, the young girl who’s taken the order seems like she’s always in a mood, no eye contact and gives out negative tension if you change your mind while ordering, manners don’t cost nothing. In my 5 visits I have never felt welcomed there! Maybe it’s an Arab thing! I might try wear a blond wig and blue contact lens then maybe I get a smile back from the staff there Next door mr kunafa had the same problem but eventually they managed to fix it, you get welcoming and looked after by the young men their In mr kunafa there is a middle age man who is there sometimes, he has the most serious face ever, he looks like the manager or something A massage to you bro! Crack a smile mate

Pro's: - Great starters - Very fair prices - Food arrived quickly Con's: - Customer service is severely lacking by the french-arab girl - train her! - Limited seating on benches - add cushions! Good service by the lady on the counter. Waiting time was around 15 mins which was acceptable for midday on a Friday. Must say I was a little disappointed with the chicken shawarma I ordered. The chicken itself was tasty and cooked well, however there was not enough kick in terms of additional flavour or spice. The only salad in the shawarma was pickled gherkins, which is where the main disappointment came from.

We bought Manakeesh and paid £20.50 no one could eat the dough was so dry like if you are eating a plastic no tease they don’t even deserve 1 star, will never buy from this shop again.

I have had one of the best desserts of my life here , their dessert’s especially knafah is absolutely delicious and mouthwatering . We also had manakeesh and chicken shawarma which was amazing as well .

This place is about 1.5 hour walk from my place and I regularly do this walk twice a month just to have their hummus and pita all for just £5! Yes you read that right , £5!!! Reckon this is by far easily , one of the best hummus I have had in my time. Starting from the texture that entices your eyes , to the olive oil gently caressing the hummus and the tahini sort of reminding you of its presence with an aftertaste is a match made in heaven , bursting in your mouth , leaving an orgasm in your palette. If you’re in dickenson road , you know where to go now :)

*Halal* The wraps are Deh-le-ceous. Especially the fried chicken wrap. The shawarma quite not right and is drier than the Sahara Desert. Their curly fries are my all-time favourite and I must have one serving of curvy fries a week coz it's soo good. The jalapeno poppers are really good too. The staff is nice but the restaurant is super dark and sad. It also takes about 20 mins for the order to be completed so it might be wise to just order ahead and pick up later.

Coming here since 2019. Always great food and friendly staff. One of the best arab restaurants in Manchester.

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE We went for eat in and got there at 8:15pm were told to order quickly as they will close the kitchen at 8 30pm she tried her best for us not to order and leave but we still rushed to order as the kids were very hungry. The food was bland and over priced, masala chicken was dry, pizzas were nothing special either. While we were eating was told to hurry up as they need to close. This place is not the same as it once used to be. Avoid and don't waste your money.

Great mediterranean fast food with friendly and fast service.

The food here is addictive . Very yummy, and you will leave with bags full of dates, cakes, all stuff that is ok in small portions. Staff are lovely and helpful.

Tbh this restaurant don’t not even deserve a star because of the order i have received today🤣. The food was so dry and received it very cold it wasn’t nice at all, i didn't expect it to taste like that. when i got the order it was missing something so i had to wait a lot more to receive the rest of the order. Never getting anything food from here again 👎

Having spent half my life in Middle East and well aware of authentic manakeesh, this is the most closest to the real middle eastern taste i have had in UK. The dough is spot on and tastes are perfect. They ll have a regular customer now.

Very bad experience, very bad service, very poor food presentation, food in very small plastic plates, tea arrived after finishing food , hair inside the cup of tea , table is sticky "disgusting ", nothing beside the food, no tomato no pickels, just a little bit of olives as shown in pictures, we came here many times , the service was not like this , never again.

The food so nice and cheep for the quality. Staff so cooperative and friendly. The environment so passionate reminds me of our culture back home. Only get upset from their too loud music which push me leaving the restaurant with headache. I spoke about this but no listener.

Authentic, levant manaeesh. Well we only had to go to Manchester to get some. For those who aren’t in the know, in the middle east(mainly lebanon) we have these pizza like pastries for breakfast. Typical toppings are usually zaatar(a thyme, sesame and olive oil mix), cheese(cheese of choice? Akawi, mozzarella’s saltier breathren) or lahmi bi Ajeen( direct translation, meat in bread, a spicy lamb mince that’s smothered on top, originally found at Turkish or Armenian joints). We tried my favourites, zaatar and cheese and a lahmi bi ajeen with the addition of muhamura(a spicy red paste to really double down on the spice). I felt like I was zapped back to lebanon where I spent a few years chowing down on these on a daily basis. I find that when I stumble on to a place that makes manaeesh here, the dough usually thick, not particularly flavourful, toppings aren’t the real deal and extortionately priced(I did say they’re pizzas, but you’re meant to eat several, like a greggs in it?). The lady who served us was very passionate too, telling us how much she loves her job and customers. It didn’t feel like a business and that really seals the deal when you want to find that right place. Highly recommend, make sure to get the choices picked up above.

Presentation needs improving 2 years ago was better they need to add green and pickels and never use these very very small 2 inch plastic plastic containers for pickels food still is very good

Food is good tasty but the presentation is poor if you ask for flafel starter it comes In carton plate with no greens and no pickles, shish chicken plate came only with chips no dips. No greens service is poor staff forget many items of the order 2 years ago was much much better if you order hummus £5.00 comes I bread no pickles no greens . Needs improvements on service , presentation.

Super fresh homemade deliciousness. Bread was great, hummus great, baba ganoush great. Also had chicken skewers (big portion!) and best of all first time having a manakeesh - halloumi one, must go back to try other toppings! Don’t judge a book by its cover - looks a bit average from the outside but the food speaks for itself.

Tasty food and Arabic sweets, the only down side they won't let you eat the sweets in the fast food which a bit wired sweets bought from next door same company, same staff 😏🤔 Hope they will look at it and change it cause I was a bit annoyed when they asked me not allowed to eat the kunafa in 😔
