This really is a great shop! The fried chicken is the best I've had, the burgers are very nice and the chips are first class. And it's been run by the same happy, friendly people for as long as I can remember.

Stopped by after a day out in Bracknell Forest with the family, food was fast and hot, fresh tasting fish, decent chips, friendly lady, everything you want for in a small local chippy. Obviously popular with locals on a Saturday night...The mushy peas more like pea soup though!

Our haddock was delicious, cooked to order. When we got home it was all still piping hot. Definitely recommend.

I have just moved to the area down the road from skippers. We’ve enjoyed takeaway from them a few times. However on two separate occasions I’ve been spoken to, and made to feel so awful that I’ve cried upon returning home. The manger / owner I presume Is downright nasty and rude. It was 8pm on a Saturday - i had popped down and seen it was closed early. Thinking I’d missed a sign, I looked over all the papers on the doors incase times had changed and I needed to note new hours. All of a sudden he opens the door, and rudely asks me “what I wanted” I queried politely if opening hours had changed or I’d missed something as it was still 8.09, he shouted at me that “his wife was ill sorry these things like this happen so now were closed ok?” ... I was so shocked at his Sudden hostility and judgement toward me I couldn’t get my words back out. He then continued to get aggressive asking me “why are you looking through the shop windows all confused, clearly were closed can’t you see? sorry I can’t accommodate you when my wife if I’ll” I again tried to explain that wasn’t what I was doing, I was merely surprised it was closed. Had he simply opened the door and said “sorry were closed early for personal reasons” in a normal polite manner that would have been fine. I left shaking as he slammed the door in my face for no reason at all. Like I’d done something awfully wrong or hurtful. I was an innocent customer on a Saturday evening who had no idea you were closed nor for your personal reasons. Please please think before you react at customers like that. This is the second time that you have been outright rude, assuming and judgemental to me for no reason ... it’s horrendous and not called for. Sort it out or you will loose customers

Working in the area searched for food this came with highly rated reviews, was not far so we gave it a try, very nice friendly staff, great service, freshly cooked tasty food, good quality and value well worth a visit , I had pie and chips which the pie was outstanding not usual vendor associated with this type of outlet chips were excellent also

We are lucky in Sandhurst to have the very best fish and chip shop for miles. Family firm that’s been there years. And it shows. Excellent.

Best Service and Great Fish and Chips. It stayed hot all the way home took us 30 mins to get home and still piping hot. Definitely go out of their way to keep our food hot. extra rapping. The Best Shop in Sandhurst/Bracknell

The place to go for quality family fish suppers. Always of the highest standards and their other meals are also first class. Sausage or pie and chips...cant go wrong and the owners are very nice to deal with. My only complaint would be that their chip portions are too big... my waist line is suffering.

As much as like my fish and chips and support the local chippy this one is getting a bit worse for wear. My last visit was a bit disappointing, the chips seemed very old and stale with very hard edges to them, crunchy chips are not what I like to eat and the sausage was a bit over greasy. Very disappointed with this, the quality of the food is slipping a bit.

This chippy is still family run and the quality of food is excellent. Service is fast and the fish is fresh. Staff are great worth a visit, one of the best chip shops in the area.

Used Skippers for a number of years now. Always good food and sometimes you need to wait because its always cooked fresh. Still a family business. Only downside is that opening times don't seem to match the usual 'apres pub' hours.

We have only just started using Skippers and have to say the fish and chips are very good and resonably priced. They also offer a host of other stuff, in fact its the first chippy that I have been to that sells "Chip Butty's". A friendly place with welcoming staff. We will be using them again.
