Nice kebab shop in the area !!! Very best quality food and huge portion of chips the gave all time , staff is very friendly and welcoming they always give something for free !!! Love to talk to them and also love their special grilled kebab❤️❤️

Have tried all the different kebabs in my area. Istanbul are by far the best kebab in Berkshire. Staff are very friendly and they’ve given me free food and leftovers so many times. Would highly recommend. Lovely lamb doner.

Got an order delivered to the local lakes where we were fishing. The food was incorrect, cold and disgusting. I called the shop and was told I could have a 15% discount on my next order. Thanks, but no thanks. I wouldn’t feed this to an animal. Steer well clear if you would like any edible food!! DISGUSTING!!!!

Fantastic fish and chips! The best in Sandhurst! Great service from the staff. Always cook the food just right and the prices are very reasnoble. I would highly reccomend if you want a good reliable takeaway.

We ordered food on Friday, the chips and Kebabs were great. Unfortunately the batter on the sausage was very soft and greasy which meant it was very nice to eat Large chips were big they were able to feed 3 adults so good value for money and price is very reasonable.

Very hit and miss. Used to be very good now Wait ages for food. Understandable if having something cooked. But doner kebabs are already carved Portions are inconsistent and food not always hot. Kebabs have become greasy with less meat and smaller amount of salad. I ordered a large. Got home to find it was a small doner and it was dripping in grease.

The other reviews don't know what they're talking about! The food is fantastic value and always cooked well and tasty! Have been using them for years. Great service and always on time. I would give them 10 stars if i could! 👍🏻

Decent sized portions, friendly staff .

Ordered a takeaway meal for 4 people this evening. Food was delicious and hot. Delivery was very prompt. We were given extra chips and a complementary bottle of Tango which we appreciated very much. Good prices, plenty of choice for everyone and will definitely order again

Rang upto make a order, plus also to ask if they would kindly do a home delivery. They asked for the postcode, i told them it. There reply was so sorry it's not coming up on the delivery route. Then they said place your order with us online. So i got another Fish ' chip shop to help me out called the Silver Sea. Who kindly helped me out with my problem & made a delivery in the half hour without a delivery charge, where as Istanbul were going to charge me for my delivery. So that is why i have given Istanbul 1 star 🌟 , for all of their questions.

Haven't used in a while and was very disappointed...used to be very good...delivery order was completely wrong...food was very very greasy...at least half fed the bin. A real shame and won't be using again.

Not the best kebab. Ordered a Kofte kebab and was standard quality. I asked for no tomatoes - got them. I asked for Jalapeños - didn't get them. More onion than salad in my box, with a 'small' amount of meat . A small kebab for £7.50--- overpriced for what it is. Will go elsewhere.

Good value and massive portion sizes but the fish and chips weren’t great. Chips and fish batter very greasy and the batter was too thick and undercooked on the inside. The small chips could have fed a whole family but were not very nice and most of them ended up in the bin - soggy and all stuck together in a big lump. The guys in the shop are cheerful and friendly, I can’t fault the service but the food was nowhere near as good as Silver Sea down the road. I hope their kebabs are better than their fish and chips.

Never disappointed by the food from here. The kebabs are really good, particularly the combination kebab, But for me the fish and chips take the prize. Massive portions, really good quality & quantity chips and the large cod is big enough to feed 2 people.! Never had anything other than light and crispy batter too! Staff are friendly and they run at a fast pace. I telephone order and drive over and in 20 mins it's almost always being packed as I arrive and freshly cooked.

Never used this restaurant before, came recommended, oh dear. Had chicken kebabs and salad. Tasted absolutely fine and looked OK, but was up at 5am with dreadful stomach upset, and have been in the bathroom most of today 😢 Whilst you can't specifically point a finger at individuals does seem odd that I am now suffering. What did seem odd was that whilst they were grilling my chicken, the manager was having some sort of heated conversation with the guy that was supposedly cooking my meal and pointing at the grill 13.00 Sunday, still rough as ole boots. Question to nearly all takeaway restaurants, why is it they only take cash and no cards. Sounds like a bit of an IRS scam

Pretty good fish and chips from here. Very large portion sizes - the small chips from here is the same as a large from many places and the small cod was a good size too. Good well packed in a cardboard box and paper so stayed warm and didn’t go too soggy. The cod was well cooked freshly to order and the batter had a nice crunch but was rather greasy. The chips were pretty good but could have been crisper. Overall not quite as good as the nearby Silver Sea but the portion sizes were larger. The meal of small cod, chips and mushy peas cost £11.20 (cash only).

Had this several times now and it’s spot on every time . Never seen a portion of chips like it and they are great . Also by far the best kebab around I now drive from Bracknell to pick kebab up from here

absolutely amazing kebab, the meats and salad are layered i've never seen a kebab shop do this the flavours were incredible the meat was juicy, we ordered from a fishing lake and they were happy to deliver it to us. only down side is the driver tried to short change me because im guessing he knew id had a couple drinks. still 10/10 kebab

Food from here was absolutely vile. The kebab was cold and i found a few black hairs in the doner meat. Are kebabs went straight in the bin as we didnt want to get ill. Do not waste your money here!

Hit and miss. Sometimes the fish and chips is very good and sometimes it's very greasy. The last time I had fish, the batter was spongy! Horrible. Their chicken donner is ok but lamb doner is the poorest quality lamb doner. You can tell when the colour is light/beige. When you phone in to collect, the order is never ready at the agreed time, always late. Takes cash only so very inconvenient

I popped in on a random stop on my way home. I wasn't expecting anything special... I was pleasantly surprised! House special is awesome! Excellent value for money. Delicious tender lamb shish. Delicious tender chicken shish. Tasty donner. Tasty lamb kofta. Mixed salad. Perfect for me tasty chilli sauce (other options available). Very happy customer! My family are impressed by their treat!

Warm cans of coke, soggy chips. Only got from here as the reviews keep saying there "amazing" maybe fresh from the shop but not on delivery as they have been delivered in a polystyrene wax coated container, which only sweats and causes them to be soggy !! Wrap them in paper (costs less is better for the planet, dose not contain a wax proven to cause cancer in the bowls and above all won't make soggy chips.) Please look up the cancer causing wax also used for instant noodles if you have any doubts. P.s if your going to sell battered mars bars use a different batter container than the sausages.

Freshly cooked fish and chips. I am a fairly large eater but I couldn't finish a small Cod and chips. Any other shop it would be a large.

I have just tasted the chips from this shop and l have to say they are THE BEST CHIPS EVER!! So fresh, tasty and such a big portion... l will definitely be returning there again

You can't ever fault Istanbu'ls for your fish and chips, sausage and or pie and chips, because you always have great service, plus plenty of food whenever or whatever you may order. They do a great range of foods to choose from, kids meals, various burgers, kebabs, vegetarian options, any extras on the side i:e onion rings & sauces & dips(etc), a range of soft caned drinks. Open seven days a week from 4.00pm to 11.30pm. There also is a local bus 🚌 & train 🚆Station very near by. There is also a car park that you can use to park in, by the parade of shops.

I always come here when I'm visiting family in Sandhurst as it's so good. Great service, quick and fresh, a must try takeaway.

Been going to the Istanbul for the last few years and always been great food, huge portions and great value for money. Tonight however was a different story. Not sure if their supplier has changed or something wrong with the oil, but the taste was awful. A definite aftertaste, very off-putting. Everything tasted like it was off.

Placed order and they read it back to me and confirmed my address. I was told 1 hour for delivery. I phoned back 1 hour 20 minutes later to discover they had no order for me!

Good food and the chip portions are fantastic. A bit of a free for all regarding the social distance I'm afraid. The markings are on the floor but not being enforced.

Eaten Lamb donner all over the country and taste is poor compared to kebabs in and around London, rubbery donner with no taste, tried a few times here and not got any better, although you do get decent portions. I fear the meat is mixed with too much soya as it is light in colour and not much fat. Fish and chips much better option here.

Disgusting hygiene. Food all over floor. Chef drops tongs on floor and doesn’t clean them, continues to use for food. 30 mins to wait for a doner kebab. Didn’t taste right either. Very metallic taste. Would give 0 star if it was possible

Always hot and fresh - my favourite place for a kebab- opinions may be its not the best but for me it’s the best within a 3-4 mile radius of my home. I stick to the same order but rest of family always complimentary about food. All helped by a friendly crew in the establishment .

Absolute rubbish.. Food took ages after time.. rubbery dry.donner kebab no one could eat. Complained to shop but man said he was o his own and basically beat he.could do. Said we could have a free meal next time. But guess what what be mad to ever ever eat from this joke of a place again. On his own would also question hygiene cos food looked "dirtty" but if he is on his own it's not right and standards drop. Will never order from here again! YUK
