Skippers Fish and Chips in Spelthorne

Work at LHR, we pop in after work, always first rate. But of late, chips scragends fish was thin, no taste what so ever. Are they... using other spuds and fish, grey in colour. We will give it another try, but. Every thing is going up in price it's not a cheap dinner anymore.

I popped here 27th Oct 22 to get some FnC for my Team of 5 at Heathrow, a quick treat, everyone to a man said it was the best they all had ever had, nice and fresh. decent veggie burger for my resident Veggie. TIP guys sell small bottles of vinegar. I didn't order in advance should have done probably, the guys are ordering again today. Thanks Team Andy Only tiny drama, parking seems to be an issue here.

Lovely clean shop with nice friendly staff. Great fish and chips, well priced & with generous portion size. Plenty of choice on the menu. Well done!

Really sorry about the poor review because staff were very nice but we ordered Rock salmon as we can’t get it where we live it looked lovely but when we went to eat it at our hotel it stank of ammonia so was off and the guy must have known. So very upset to be taken for an idiot

This fish and chip shop is amazing. Food is excellent, generous portions. Such good value for money. The place is always very clean and staff friendly. The food is cooked to order so you usually have to wait a few minutes but well worth it.

Freshly cooked, very clean , highly recommend, great homemade tarter sauce, best chippy in stanwell.

Delicious and fresh meals for sixty people at the local village hall - highly recommended - friendly staff too who went out of their way to oblige.

I highly recommend Skippers! The fish & chips were fantastic (fresh, tasty and large portions) and the owner was very friendly. We ate outside and during the course of our meal we talked to several people who work or live on the block. The owner was very engaging. I’d say he’s like The Mayor in this neighborhood. Overall such a wonderful meal. We felt like family.

Super fresh and tasty fish. We were staying just around the corner so it was still hot when we ate. One warning: Three of us ordered a large Chips to share, and despite the fact that they were delicious, we could barely eat even half of the order. Not really a negative, just know that you might get more food than you can manage, so come with an appetite.

Been using skippers now for a few months , previously used to drive for miles to get good fish and chips .... To me , they are the best around this area , consistently great product and friendly service, highly recommended.

Just had yet again tasty fish and chips from skippers ! While our order was being freshly cooked I noticed a sign on the wall saying they are now opened at lunch time 11.30am-2pm Monday -Saturday ! What a treat for us all .

Excellent chip shop, very traditional menu(pickled onions/eggs, etc)and great value for money. Welcoming staff and quick service! I’m a regular visitor.

Have just had the best fish and chips from Skippers fish and chips I have had in a long while. Order 2 cod and had a large chips to share.... Huge portion. Fab tartar sauce. Fish was cooked to perfection and light crisp batter.

The food is very nice and well done the chip shop is very clean and tidy I do say go and try it you will be very happy with it

This is by far the best fish and chip shop foe miles around. The portions are really generous. The fish is lovely and white with crisp batter and the chips are excellent. Highly recommended.

Needed something to eat while waiting for collection from Airport. 3 of us had fish. 1 Plaice, 1 Haddock, I Rock. All 3 were delicious and freshly cooked. Great little Fish and chip shop. Highly recommended.

We have had fish and chips from skippers several times now and it is definitely the best we have ever had in the area.
