Fantastic staff, excellent food, always have the same when I’m in, can’t fault this place

If I could give this pub 0stars I would she told me to bring my kids up Halloween that was 3 weeks ago for the Halloween party when we got their she told us she had to book a table witch is lies never have to book a table their any other time it took her 10 minutes to come up with that excuse after when we caught her out in lies she told us they have plenty sweets for the kids and staff seem to be very unsteady on their feet

Bar maid insisted I'm gorgeous so I've now got new favourite pub in port

Food is great, especially the sizzling plates, my favourites are bbq beef or salmon. Can be noisy sometimes.

I use this pub regularly but it could do better in terms of quality to the customers.

Visited this pub to watch man utd v Fulham. Didn't eat Needed a toilet break so went into bar toilet (male) Found it full so flushed but no movement,wee all over floor Had to rush to other side of pub to not much of a prettier site, I approached duty manager as to who I can get in contact with and her response was I'll deal with it, do you want free drinks on me??? After deliberation I asked her to blank off the toilets that wernt working so nobody else with IBS gets caught out, I seen her push a member of staff into gents toilets with tape, I don't know if he closed loos off Owner of pub " give your head a wobble" Vanessa "duty manager" you're better than this place

Would love to give a better review. New offers on staff did not know what they doing not been informed of promotion even though it was on the billboards. The curry we had had at 2 other locations before but this one was like eating magma. Way too spicy

Service was amazing . The lady that served was lovely and made sure we got reimbursed for the food issues. Food was very disappointing overall. The steak was well over cooked and they left the end of the lettuce on the plate There were brown bits on the salad and onion skins on the plates. Also they changed the salad completely from a superfood salad to a basic salad, which isn't great at all.

Ordered takeaway from here. Loved the ability to customise items on my order. Wonderful chicken burgers and chips, ready on time. Staff were very friendly.

Food was kinda dry and some of the staff weren't very friendly, but the drinks were tasty ... as a traveler I was confused by ordering and different staff instructed me to do different things so I didn't really enjoy my dinner here

We went for a meal with a drink . . the pub was warm, not too busy, the choice of food was great, the service was perfect, the food was lovely . . we had a Fab time !!

Luvly venue 4 taking families of 4 plus because its nice and affordable + have great daily deals throughout the whole week.

Not complaining about the staff. The meals were terrible, quality has gone out the window, my husbands meal was totally the wrong one so they took it back and I was left to eat mine , I had finished by time his came back out. The food was only warm. Very disappointed as always used to be a good place for a meal.

Feel so embarrassed,took daughter and grandkids,told them food is good,as has been every time before,,must of bey busy ,50 minutes for meals , soggy chips, daughters steak rock hard,no pepper sauce,she never ate it,,, not saying won't come back because been good before,you know the saying pay peanuts,,,,,,,get,,,,

Come on guys, get more people serving....15 minutes to get a beer isn't acceptable!!!! People are talking about going elsewhere.

The place is a bit tired and in need of some modernisation, the seat which originally sat at was so cold and draughty we had to move tables to keep warm , had to do that before. Food was reasonable after a bit of a wait . Be aware if you come when the school chucks out opposite your not guaranteed a parking space as the parents collecting the kids seem to take over the car park.

The woodies has just had a refurb. More of the same really. Cheap beer from the cheaper brands, no real ales. Decor is a little bit nicer and the toilets have been improved. More lively in here than it has been for a while. A good solid mediocre.

Experience poor show. Middle of afternoon so very quiet expected spot on food but dissapointed. food only warm hubby had no butter for toast with all day breakfast and mine was very tough chicken dianne sauce small portion barely covering the mushroom. Would have told staff but they didn't come to check. E. port

If you want a drink, it is spacious, the staff are kind and friendly and remember your order, and if you want food you have a dedicated dining area, and the deals on meals are good, for specific days and for seniors over 60, two meals for a fiver.

Food was terrible, chips were just about warm, fish batter was not golden brown it was white. Child's build your own wrap had hardly any chicken. Will not be returning
