Sizzlers Cafe in Waveney

Ordered tea, employee who I ordered from promised to bring it out, he then left. It took 15 minutes for just 2 cups of tea..

Food is great, Service is awesome and it's really chill in there. I will come again with the rest of the family, even if my Mum is a nutcase lmao

Went for a takeaway latte and a milkshake for my little boy. What an absolutely lady up! Staff yelling at each other. No please or thanks to each other. £2.50 for a half cup of latte to be told that's all the machines put in a cup. The milkshake was good according to my pad that was the only positive. Whilst stood there 15 minutes waiting for my takeaway drinks. I asked if it would be long as my bus was due to leave and at that point they remembered my order. The kitchen is open plan and I'm sorry but the state of the place is a cluttered mess and even fly spay on the counter top. Health and safety dudes would have a field day in there.

The sugar shakers nearly always empty and damp, people with mobile phones are a pain keep talking on the next table and you hear all their troubles should ban them while inside, have to ask for a spoon, no serviettes on the tables, staff go out for a ciggy come back do not wash hands, and they let dogs come in that is a no no..

Some of the Staff were really friendly, but caught someone making the milkshakes licking inside it and then serving to us !! Not to mention the awful language you hear from some of the staff. Other customers were burping and farting next to us! Wouldn’t recommend going, not the best of areas.

Never been before. Didn’t have what I wanted to order (a sandwich / toastie) as had no filling so just had drink and milkshake was awful - no flavour, watery and could just taste bits of ice in it - and it took ages to come so that others had finished food before I got it. Cheese sandwich was ok and Omelette was ok, but pricy.

Every time we are in Lowestoft, we always stop for lunch at Sizzlers Cafe as it is the best in town, in fact the best in Suffolk. I am celiac which means I cannot eat anything thing with Gluten in it. I have no worries as once you tell them everything, they give you can eat without worry. Their sausages are gluten free and they also have gluten free bread etc. They really look after you. Please, if you have any allergens to certain foods eat here, they will look after you.

We quite often visit Sizzlers when in Lowestoft town. It is very close to the bus station and is a family run business . The food is excellent and very reasonable. The staff are all excellent. Friendly and efficient.

Just had the most amazing roast dinner from sizzlers. Delivered to my doorstep by the lovely Fiona! Food was served in a hot bag and was piping hot on arrival. It was delicious and well worth the money, and because I couldn’t finish it all (portions are of a very good size) my dog had some too haha! Comes with a dessert as well. Thank you sizzlers for a homely meal on a miserable Sunday

Wow,mine and my partner’s breakfast was most probably the best breakfast iv had in a very long time,great cup of tea too,very fairly priced considering what we ordered and tbh I would of happily paid a little more as the service and food was amazing

It used to be a lovely cafe but now it’s getting too pricey. The food is going down hill it’s not as good quality and one person always has their food and the rest are waiting on theirs by the time they get it the first person is always finished. We’re going to stop coming here as it’s not as good as it used to be which is a shame. The staff aren’t on it either it always seems to be rushing and shouting in the kitchen

Popped in this for a bite to eat whilst I was on my lunch break, had the nicest cheese , ham and onion toastie on thick bloomer bread, nice fresh salad and coleslaw. Place was busy and extremely clean. I hear nothing but good reviews about this places breakfasts so I will definitely by back, very good value for money too. The scones and sausage rolls on display also looked lovely. Would highly recommend

Came today to sizzlers cafe was very pleased with food , our breakfast came quickly on hot plates , I came with my family , very clean, staff were very welcoming and helpful, staff worked great as a team all I can say is we will definitely be back 😊

Hubby and I had the most incredible roast dinner! Now I’m not usually a big eater but I cleared my plate! The portions are extremely good value for money and the food is full of flavour and is one of the best carvery’s I’ve had by miles in the area, Pete was very chatty and pleasant I honestly recommend everyone to give it a try you won’t be disappointed

Totally disorganised, Five staff on duty running round like headless chickens. We sat at at a table, no condiments in holder, sugar dispenser very dirty. We had ordered at the counter. Our food arrived, well presented. But had to ask for condiments and sauce. Salt and pepper shakers dirty. No spoons came with our drinks. All you could hear was a woman shouting out, this that and the other. Staff just clearly not organised. Food at other tables arrived if and when. We enjoyed our food, but order was messed up, items missing. Elderly gentleman walked straight into the kitchen. Stood chatting to staff, no hand washing observed, toilet door open. Need to get more structure. Staff training a priority Shame as our lunch was nice, will not be returning Don't really want to hear the cook Shouting, or see Staff locking spoons!!!

We left without ordering as we were helping elderly mother and pregnant daughter to seats after picking up menus we were treated to a grown man bitching and complaining about us to our backs. And hygiene there is disgusting open staff toilet door with boxes stacked inside on a hot day.

This cafe is amazing the food is delicious the staff go above and beyond and will cater for anyones needs the owners are brilliant, they will do all they can to help and will have a chat and a laugh with you. I fully recommend this cafe to anyone. If you haven't been yet your seriously missing out.

Sizzlers cafe is the best cafe around the town. the breaksfasts , jacket potato’s and everything else is wonderful. The food is cooked perfect . Such a clean, polite, friendly and definitely worth a visit .have such a laugh in there with everyone . Everyone who works in there are kind , friendly and funny . Lovely little cafe /restaurant Majority home cooked food Huge fruit scone with jam and cream and pot of tea for two total £6.00 lovely in the morning. Sunday Roast in the afternoon was home made with apple pie custard and ice cream that was delicious and huge as well all for £10.50 each for 2 course. 10% discount for pensioners even better . It’s next to Lowestoft bus station lots in menus as well . Will go back and eat there again 😃👍👍👍.

Next to the bus station sits this good cafe. £2 for a pot of tea for two is excellent value and the food looked delicious and wasn’t expensive either. The only problem was the pancakes were cold but you got plenty of Nutella with them...

Good value cafe food, right near Lowestoft bus station and library. .busy inside, food and drinks nice. Not 5 stars as let down by dirty tables and floor.

Well cooked, plentiful, clean food, and served up with a side plate of pleasant staff. Will regularly use for a break in our shopping trips in the town. 5 star service too. But get rid of those 1950s plastic tablecloths :)
