Made a large order from this restaurant, they missed of a garlic chilli chicken and egg fried rice. I rang up and they said I had to wait for it to be done , I couldn’t wait so they guy I spoke to said when you come back off holiday call us and we will get the missing meal sent out to you. Meal was not ordered through Deliveroo. I rang up and placed the order over the phone. I have called this evening 21/08/2024 and are now refusing to send out the missing meal. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT ABSOLUTELY APPALLING BEHAVIOUR AND ATTITUDE!!!!!!!!!!! I WILL BE TAKING THIS HIGHER

We have always ordered a takeaway from Sizzlers leamington Spa. But today the Chicken curry in our menu was off. Stale old meat. Disappointing when I called the restaurant. They asked me to get the curry to the restaurant so that they could make a fresh one. Luckily Deliveroo gave me a refund. Had to drive to the restaurant to give the spoilt curry. Disappointing experience

The guy who served us was extremely polite and amazing food was tasty and fresh if you want a proper Desi experience with amazing service do visit this place will be coming again😍

This is absolutely the best Indian in Warwickshire! I have been here many times now but I think it's a suitable time to write my review. After trying many other restaurants around Leamington and Warwick area. I always come back to Sizzlers! The fish pakora , sizzling chicken tikka and chicken/ tikka biryani are all fantastic! Absolutely delicious! Would highly recommend the food here. The service is great. Can't fault it at all. However, the atmosphere is noisy and lively but you come here for the tasty food and not the decor/ atmosphere . All I can say is you have to try Sizzlers and you won't be disappointed!

Food was really good but the atmosphere was not at all good with all noises. Management must set some rules for people using the personal speaker with low volume or no speakers allowed.

Went there last night after a while. Ordered a starter and then found hair in it. Waiting staff just said will tell the chef. Didnt replace the dish. Went to pay the bill, didn't accommodate any discount for giving me food with hair in it. Rather than being apologetic, the manager went on it say I allowed you to stay even though you ordered starters. Its under new management so food has gone down, and service has differently worsened. Not going to return.

I dont normally leave reviews especially negative ones unless it's really bad and I want to save others wasting money and an evening. We were out for a birthday meal and had booked here but on arrival we all were thinking about going elsewhere, the place was pretty rough and ready. But we just decided to give it a go anyway, they brought out menus which were really basic with little options compared to most Indian restaurants nothing particularly appealing but thought maybe that will mean a nice home cooked style curry's. After waiting a fair while to order some drinks they brought out a plate of salad to share between 5 of us and a small dip selection, with no poppadoms we had to ask if we could get some with it and by the time they had come we had eaten the sides. Then placed our orders which took ages to come considering it was pretty quiet in there. Service was all over the place we had to stack all the starter plates up as they didn't clear before bringing the mains. All 5 meals were awful we had mixed tandoori really dry no mint yohurt, biryani mostly rice and dry, paneer curry way too hot, lamb chops which were charcoal. I had lamb curry they said off the bone, it was a few tiny pieces of dry lamb and a few bones in mostly lamb fat and oil with a weird taste bland yet hot. The keema naan was horrible like flat and burnt not like a nice fluffy naan I'm used to with a weird taste. Meal came to about £125 for 5 people I'd seriously never go back there again we left most of the food!

The place is a vibe and the food bangs. Definitely a solid one especially after a night out

We Dined in two weeks ago on Wednesday night. We was ignored by the waiter he took our drinks order and gave them to us .He was on the phone constantly it took 20 minutes to take our food order . I don't know where the friendly manager Mohammed was that night we are regulars and he always look aftered us every time with a smile. We was frustrated and tried to get his attention all the time to find out where the food was. The restaurant only had 5 tables and he could not cope at all and the service was very poor. We never had poor service when the manager was here before. I hope you come back Mohammed very soon as we won't come back again. We were very disappointed and upset and the food was average and Lamb was very tough and hard. We won't be coming back sort the professional staff out.

The place needs a makeover feels like an outdated place to dine at , it has poor hygiene and absolutely no authentic taste if we talk about desi food. There are far better places to go if you want to try authentic desi food.

Great Food and Amazing Service.

Awful customer service we are regulars always come with 4 or 5 people on Wednesday it was busy. The waiter was on his phone and gave our drinks and popadums. The Food is always excellent and the service is the best when we always get greeted by the manager. I don't know where Bob manager gone that night was different faces unprofessional waiter. The waiter was on his phone and sitting down eating his food we called couple times to get drinks ordered but was ignored eventually he came. The waiter said was busy with other customers. He could not handle half full restaurant as our friendly manager bob does it no problem. Bob We want you back with your excellent customer service and the conversation we always have.

Revised Review. Had previously given this place 5-stars based on an excellent (initial) take away. This weekend I placed a 2nd order via their app but received NO order confirmation. Called to query but was told the app ".. doesn't work" & I'd need to order via phone! Despite being assured I'd be refunded they DID charge my account.. even though I paid cash for the subsequently repeated phone order! I've since filed a time consuming dispute with the credit card company to get reimbursed. After all that, the takeaway wasn't a patch on last time (half the quantity of paneer) They also charge random prices (same orders, 2 different prices.) On both occasions I've collected, the restaurant looked untidy (random junk lying around) & wasn't particularly busy. Nevertheless, the manager always seems stressed & under pressure. If they get the food right, it can taste absolutely super but, if you do order ANYTHING from this place... beware!!!

We ordered a takeaway for £100 plus pounds and what we got was abuse, unprofessional service, burned breads, Dal over flowing into low quality plastic bag and everything you don’t expect for a family weekend. We never got 2 x Pilau Rice and 1 x Plain rice we ordered and paid once we got home. When I called back about the missing item, the guy on the phone was unprofessional and hung up the phone. They are inexperienced enough to pack a potion of Dal in the bottom of £100 worth of food and what we got at home was some yellow sauce in the cheap plastic bag. The Lamb chops were just 3 pieces flavourless bones for £13:00 without any salad or sauces. Curries were extreme spicy with extra hot chillies which an average person cannot eat. Nan bread was over cooked and burned. This place is the worst place you can spend your money for a family dinner. After all this, I called the business to get a refund for the food they didn’t provide and the one they wasted, the person on the phone was rather rude and abusive. This place is a shame for beautiful town Leamington. Stay away from this place !!! Photos attached.

All four of us had different meals and we all thought they were excellent. The gentleman who served at our table was very friendly and chatty. When we were leaving he walked us to the door and thanked us for coming. We would definitely go there again.

Small friendly restaurant, not a large menu, but still plenty of choice reasonably priced. Also does take away. Food good, best poppadoms ever tasted.

We met the manager Muhammed. He was very friendly and chatty and made use very welcome as we are strangers here from Scotland. The food was served promptly and was very tasty.

The food is great and value for money. The manager is great and very kind. The place is open till late which very convenient.

Arrived at around 2300 on 24.03.22 to an extremely rude manager. We were asking about the difference between ordering food to go and ordering to eat in when the manager started using extremely vulgar language with us (including the f-word) as we were leaving all because we were asking if we could pay extra to eat in instead of having a takeaway order (A warning that eat in will cost approximately double that of a take away order) Chicken biryani was full of bones!!

Good Food and an Wonderful host. After a long time an Indian restaurant food actually tasted like authentic Indian food. What we liked most about Sizzlers is, they are serving the actual taste of Indian food at reasonable price not like some of those pricey Indian restaurants where the food don't even taste Indian.

We came this evening and it was busy on Saturday night and was deciding to have a take away . We walked passed and saw a poster for a student Byrani which was 5.00. We wanted to eat in with the student offer. We asked the the Manager can we have the offer inside to eat at all. The Manager suggested order 3 Byrani from main menu and order a curry that we can share as we was on budget.He was very friendly and the attitude I salute to him we was very drunk and the manager was right. We will Definitely Recommend this place. We never been welcomed to any restaurant how the Manager treated us with Respect. Thanks again to the chef for excellent meal you are the legend and very polite.

He is charging extra money and is giving same foods which used customes before so my advice don't pay by card is not good service at all they look like are giving poison so no eat in there. Thanks

Had an exceptionally pleasant evening at Sizzlers. The host, Mohammad was polite and friendly, the waiter was very attentive. The hospitality was brilliant but the food was out of this world. The best biryani I have had in a very long time; it tasted very homely and comforting. I would definitely recommend getting the chicken tikka biryani alongside the masala chips!

I came with my wife early evening and had a fantastic meal. The Manager of the Restaurant recommended me and my wife 2 different dishes to try. He was enthusiastic and asked us to try his favourite food Lamb Handi on the bone.I had Lamb Handi and my wife dish was Chicken Tikka Biryani was excellent and authentic flavours. My Lamb Handi was fresh with chillies and the sauce had different flavours. I enjoyed it so much manager recommended me to have a Garlic Nan to share with my wife and a boil rice that I choose to have. THE biryani was to die for no other restaurant in leamington and warwick can make the Biryani which is served here. The popadums was fresh when we ordered and had the dips .Chilli sauce was excellent and nice and spicey never had it before. It was busy on Thursday night and the manager look aftered all the customers as he was on his own front of the house. The customer service was excellent and the manager was dressed smart with a tie on.. We will definitely come back with our friends to have another fantastic meal. Weldone you was very polite and had a smile all the time. I would like to thank the hospitality was excellent and the chef was amazing. We will be coming again with our friends. We enjoyed Mohammed company he has got time to have a chat with us.

It is a delight to visit every time, and the chicken biriyani is excellent. In particularly, Mohammed is very welcoming and hospitable, which is always a pleasure. Overall, it serves very authentic Punjabi cuisine, and would recommend!

The veg biryani is really good. I take it twice a week. The manager Mohammed is very friendly and is present everytime we go. He always has time for us and we never get ignored. The gulab jamun is also very nice.

We always come here twice a week for vegetable biryani and meet Muhammad. Muhammad is very friendly, no matter how busy it is he always there to attend us kindly. Best Gulab jamun here. Great hospitality and best Indian food in leamington spa.

We ordered a very small amount of food to take away and the waiter doubled the price. I would have thought it was a mistake if he wasn't in the middle of an argument with another customer over the lack of food he received for what he paid. Not only that bit the waiter was really rude when I asked where the toilet was. It's a shame because the small amount of food we did get was good, but I'll NEVER be going back.

The food is amazing and value for money. Manager is friendly and recommended good dishes. It's open till late night which is awesome. Do recommend.

I dined in this evening had a fantastic meal. The manager recommended me and my friend to have a chicken Handi and my other friend he suggested to have paneer Karahi. We enjoyed the meal so much and the manager was very polite and had a smile. The manager bought onions and Lemons to have with our main course. We will see you again.

Highly recommended We went for a meal here whilst staying in Leamington spa The food was delicious, really tasty.The Manager was lovely and friendly too. He Recommended us to have a Chicken tikka chilli masala and my wife he Recommended to Have Lamb Handi on the bone. The lovely chap said it was home made how he eats it at home, as we are asians . He was right the bones of the lamb was tender and the flavour was Aunthentic. Weldone sizzlers we will definitely be back. Had a terrible experience Visited the restaurant on 16 dec 2022 at around 7 pm for dinner Ordered one chicken biryani, One lamb karahi, one meat grill, one cheese naan and one garlic naan along with 1.75L coke The food arrived 1 hour late and hospitality was poor, the manager seemed to be an ignorant guy. Food was average and overpriced, he charged us 9 pounds for the coke and upon asking told that they buy it from a local shop and sell, on inquiring from the local shop, it turned out that coke was just 2 pounds. The itemised bill was not given, instead prices were written by hand and he gave us the handmade bill. Disappointing experience, Definitely never visiting again and would request everyone to value their money and avoid visiting as the food quality needs to improve and staff needs to learn hospitality

Do not get food from this place. Food took over 1 hour to arrive & when it did, the driver gave us the wrong curry! Brings back the right one and it was stone cold! Oil floating on top of the food. Vile

Two dishes had the same sauce and the third (daal) was unedible due to nuclear level chilli levels. Naans were basic and a cheap garlic paste was slapped on it I reckon.

I didn’t want to give any stars at all to be honest. I was recommended by my colleague to eat at this place but now I’m disappointed after eating their food. The food I’ve got doesn’t have taste at all and the curry they used in 2 different chicken dishes were the same and the fun part was that the daal (tarka daal) I had was spicy as hell which shouldn’t be like this and it burnt my tongue (I am Indian so I can say this was definitely too far). And the naans they have it literally looks Lidl naans. I paid for good food and this is what I’ve got. I would like to have my money back. I would not recommend this place to anyone, I’m sorry 😓

Worst customer service from this restaurant! Food reviews does not matter since the service is rubbish here! They lied about the pos machine not working since the bill amount was less and then still wanted us to pay with pos for 2 pounds since they didn’t have change. We have been here as a group previously and since they knew the bill will be considerably big they were all smiles frequently checking in if the food was okay and today it was the exact opposite since the order amount was small! I have recommended this restaurant many a times before but now will only advice people against going here!!

Will never ever dine-in or order from this place, it was all wrong today. Went in with wife and mother-in-law, as my wife wanted to have her favorite paneer from here. The restaurant was only about 30% occupied and there was plent of space, I agree the food was good, we ordered Onion Pakora and Panneer Sizzler, however while asking for the bill, he just wrote the items in a piece of paper and said 12pounds and only cash. When I asked about it initially, he said his POS machine was not working and that he is getting the payment only after 2 weeks, then I gave him 2x10pound notes and again he was rude to me saying that I don't have change and asked me to pay just 2 pounds in card and 10pound in cash, I was freaked out. But out of all this what made it worse was, after finishing the payment i requested him to inform about the cash payment once we come in for Dine-in, as I usually don't have cash, for that he became rude again and said you come in as 3 people and buy for only 12 pounds and then expect me to accept card payment? and didn't even show his face and went away as I was talking, such a rude behaviour and later on went on to accept card payment for other customer (probably with a heavy bill), which meant he was basically lying about the POS machine failure. Doesn't matter how good your food is, if you are treating customers based on the bill, then that shows your service is simply a trash. Sizzlers never again, such an Idiot that person was.

Orderd and was told 45 minutes, finally arrived an hour and half after ordering. Sauce and oil over everything in the carrier bags, meaning curry had lost alot of liquid. All the food was cold so had to re-heat, they sent the wrong rice with the order. Nan breads were also stone cold and therefore couldn't eat one of them. Wouldnt order again

It took an hour to get the food and whilst thete were some great flavours, Mr Micrwave appears to have done much of the work! The chicken of my "Sizzler" was impossibly hot on the inside. The rice too was more than steamed! The mattar paneer was deconstructed... the paneer not firm. All a shame, because the taste was good. Just not a great culinary experience! The Cobra beer at least, tasted ok, so Lord Karan Bilimoria would be ok

Tasty Starters and of course loved the spicy dhal. Sizzler dishes are always tasty. Fish Pakora is very crispy and so yummy. Curry dishes quantity is good for 2 people at least. Worth trying with families & friends.
