Sizzlers in Derby

we booked a table on a monday afternoon at 14.00urs. The menu was well priced and good value for money , the mixed grill i had was fantastic .well cooked with plenty of meat and chips . the staff where very friendly and polite,but a bit short on the ground (which is way i did not give you full marks ) i would recommend this pub to everyone....

We were visiting the area using the canal - we go there via the road and not canal side. On the first visit the breakfast had dried up beans that didn't come out the pot. So nothing too major. On the second visit food had to be sent back - a burger bun what burn to a crisp all the way through, on a breakfast sausages were also badly burnt through. This time has put me off going again. On the first occasions the food took over 45 minutes and on the second over an hour to arrive - it looked as thought there were only 1 or 2 staff on both occasions.

great place to go for food good choice of food to have nice and hot when you get it .nice and clean staff nice and friendly would come back again .

Kebab should give option for mint sauce when asked in the comments for it it turned up plain

Poorly cooked food tasted weird

I had a large chips and cheese, and a donner kebab upgraded to a cheese naan. Well, kinda. The whole cheese naan was handed in a while that, while in no way wrong or bad, was a little strange. When ordering, there were two separate upgrade options for choosing a special naan, one at £1 and one at £2; I'm guessing this is an error, and Sizzlers may want to check up on his their menu is configured. When the food actually arrived, rather than the kebab using a cheese naan *instead* of the regular one, a separate cheese naan was given *as well*. Like I said; not bad, just strange. But hey, I got an extra naan out of it, so that's fine! Anyway, the kebab was fine, not overly greasy and a good size... some places have very odd opinions on how much meat kebabs should have, so I was delighted Sizzlers did good. So good, in thank, that all I can say is that the chips looked great; I didn't have room left to eat them! I'll be ordering from them again. Right now, in fact.

I ALWAYS order from here when I'm in Derby and it's always amazing. I never ever get let down what so ever! Every person I order with from this place is always extremely surprised on how nice th food is... Also to the lovely guy who delivers my food all the time need a pay raise because he is the most nicest person ever! Always listens when I matter on at the door and never ever has a frown... Absolute delightful man

The food was okay, the pizza had a slightly spiced (coriander/cumin) taste to it, which ruined it, and had I known the shish kebab was tikka marinated I would have ordered from somewhere else. The chips were the best part of the meal. Probably won't order from here again (due to personal taste)

Consistently great from sizlers, i dont know how they do it. Not had a dissapointing order yet, good food in speedy time and great price, but please bring back the keema cheese nans, i loved them.

nice food delivery fee a bit much

Cold food, close to 90 minute delivery time. Chips hard and very crunchy plus cold. Wont be going back again

Delivery in good time food hot and tasty items missing but driver did return wud use again

worst take away ever, 1.5 hrs wait, Old reheated fries, soggy uncooked pizza base, taste the fermented yeast. tough as nails lamb kebhab, the list goes on. ;(

kebabs are horrible, dry, if you ask for salad you just get loads of onion, pizzas however are nice. although VERY disappointed with the service as i was short changed by £6 i rang the take away and explained to which they informed me the driver was denying ever having short changed me. but they sent him back and i was given the correct change plus an extra £1 as an apology. the issue was sorted very quickly.

You get alot for your money and quick delivery

Food was cold. Took 1 hour and 15 minutes to be delivered. Will not be using these again.

Looking at the reviews before ordering I was very hesitant however the service provided excelled my expectations, the food arrived was hot and tasty. Very generous sized portions. Overall great customer service, I would recommend others to order from here.

Didn't mind waiting an hour for delivery, however food was stone cold after paying £2 for the privilege, spoke to the manager and offered 10% off next order which off a £15 order doesn't even cover the delivery in the first place. Abrupt manager!!! Stay away

Burgers came without salad or sauce. Kebab came without salad or sauce, naan was burrn, doner meat tasted like cardboard and seemed a few days old. Pizza was cold, upside down and peperoni tasted like soap. Delivery was also late. Burgers did taste nice, but let down by lack of sides. Chicken pieces were dry and were cold. Never ordering from here again, I advise you to do the same. Avoid at all costs! What a waste of £20

Arrived on time, only a couple of items were different than ordered, otherwise great tasting pizza and decent prices!

Chicken Korma too sweet couldnt eat it, chips were cold and not cooked properly

good portion size like 3 chef in chaddesden .but cheaper and better quality. fast service food arrived hot

Delivery time was great but I'm very disappointed. I orders fish and chips only got chips , they were clearly heated up from another day. Mushy peas were cold . Never again.
