Very clean guys, very good food, simple guys 🙌 go and see it and come comment in here if I am wrong. Whoever makes negativ review in their page, believe me 100% it is someone close in their area, or someone who don't know about food and wants them to have bad reviews. For me they should be on Top 🥇🧄

I ordered 2x doner kebab, kofta and chicken kebab. It has been delivered in acceptable amount of time, meats was hot and realy tasty, fresh salad, add some whole pickled chillies was very good idea.

Always great food, arrives quickly and hot

Took 90 minutes to make food chicken nuggets and chips two burgers and chips flat bread had to go to bar to ask how long it was going to be after 90 minutes been there a lot and rated full marks but this time wasn't the best always gone there every time we go to St anns but will not be back no apology nothing.

Well, what have you done? again..... Had a chicken kebab with salad,mushrooms pepper and onions. Normally it comes very tasty and juicy but today it was tasteless, bland and dry. Chicken tough burnt chunks and very salty too. Cant understand myself why I buy food from you which just lately is horrible.Not again thafs for sure....... ****UPDATE****SSOOO.....Not had a kebab since last review due to what I reviewed so I have a very occasional Pizza which is few and far between because they're nice. BUT..Had the usual veg pizza and was really disappointed! It's turned out the same as the chicken kebab. Bland, boring and tasteless.It was very tomatoe'y if thats a word! And the base was very thin which I dont like.It looked very nics abd appetising but just nit tasty.Just no taste at all.!!So wont be bothering to go again.Another one bites the dust..Cheerio

Ordered online. 45 minute delivery time. Called up after 70 minutes to chase up as showed still being prepared. They told me the driver had come out and then said too far. Asked for refund they hung up. Follow up on your response…you did not have to accept the order, distance was not what you say…driver did not arrive or call at all, please check records. At 20:18 status was food still being prepared. Just issue the refund and don’t lie. And yes your food is good which is why we ordered from you. Been in your shop 4 times since moving to this area.

Ordered a Donner meat and chips, donner was rubbery and too thick for my liking the taste was horrendous. Chips were worse than mediocre. Will never eat from here ever again!

Order on just but did not get delivered contact restaurant he remade my order and sent it out with his own drive 100% respect to the owner food is always hot and tasty poor service from just eat but Derby Grill service was on point shame on just eat for playing with restaurants reputation

Thanks Derby Grill. Let me explain. I am in town visiting family as I grew up in Derby but live overseas. A Doner Kebab is my guilty pleasure and I try to consume them on a semi regular basis while i'm back home. Friday Night I went with a friend and had some drinks in Derby, after our last bar stop before I caught my Uber home I decided to visit your takeaway and ordered myself a Doner Kebab. Food came quickly, I sat and ate it and while not blown away and while not at the level of 3 Chefs in Chaddesden it was OK and scratched the itch. Then, about 9-10 hours later my fun began, I have been violently ill for about 5-6 hours and revisited your Kebab many times in the bathroom of the Airbnb I am staying in. Really appreciate the food borne Pathogen gift you gave me for my visit back to Derby, I do appreciate it. If you're in town and want a Doner Kebab with a side order of crapping through the eye of a needle, be sure to visit Derby Grill !!!!

An awful experience, food didn’t even arrive. Ordered via Deliveroo, man claimed he had “arrived” at the premier inn I was staying at and was in the car park, I looked round the car park, in my PYJAMAS. But seems I was sent on a wild choose chase. Either he couldn’t speak English or was taking the mick as he kept saying random words like “gat” etc. i have autism and adhd and as a neurodivergent it was extremely upsetting and stressful, I also felt vulnerable walking around in the dark at 2 in the morning looking for this imbecile. Got a refund from Deliveroo thatll take up to 10 days: not good enough. Will be ringing the manager because I deserve compensation. Can’t comment on the food but the service was abysmal .

I ordered off of Uber Eats - I got a small cheesy chips with Hummus, two cans and a cheesecake. The chips… AMAZING. There could’ve been more cheese, but what place puts a lot of cheese on the chips. (Be foreal) The cheesecake, I wouldn’t know because my fat boyfriend ate it all - he said it’s good though ! (He got his karma when his can burst on him) Overall, great food very yummy 👍

I order pizza collection it wasn’t cooked at all when i call to explain to them they spoke very rude so what can i do now better find different job

Used to be fantastic but quality definitely lacking now. Also they messed up my order with missing items and refused to rectify it, reacting extremely rudely on the phone. Plenty of better choices in Derby for kebabs.

Ordered fried chicken. Over fried as coating tasted slightly burnt from outside but not properly cooked inside. Chicken was very tender though. Overall not bad but could be improved. Have previously tried burgers and homemade chicken wings, always found good.

The best chips that have ever been created! Wonderful fries, they are both crispy and flavorful. We were provided with food in person, thus, we cannot comment on the service of delivery. All of the food appeared to be fresh and to have a good taste. I would suggest this location if you wanted to snack quickly.

We were loyal customers we had ordered for years, and most time, they get the kababs wrong, but it is nice food. so I continued to order. placed an order tonight, and it was shocking. hardly any meat in the kababs and very little salad. phoned them, And the man that answered was rude and just said thank u. if this is the response get u will not receive my custom.I WILL NOT BE ORDERING AGAIN Rip off

Poor hygiene and cleanliness. Tall skinny new guy with medium/long hair itched his ears and hair then touched my food. BBQ grill was also clogged with burnt food which stuck to mine. New staff need training.

Anyone that bothers to read these reviews, just don't bother ordering from here. Rang and specifically asked if chicken meat off rotisserie and was told it was... No it isnt, received big chunks of dry, tasteless, burnt chicken sat on undercooked chips... Never again

Awful experience, went after a night out. Ordered cheesy chips, chips and naan with cheese and a kebab. Refused to add cheese that they forgot, stating it was an extra charge. Was charged £35! Took advantage of women who had been out for drinks- disgusting behaviour charging whatever you feel you can! You should be ashamed

Best chips ever! Delicious fries, nice and crispy. We got food in person so can’t comment on the delivery service. All the food looked fresh and good quality. I would recommend this place if you’re looking to grab a quick snack.

We ordered 2 Donna Kebabs and Donna Meat and chips. All of it arrived cold. The salad wasn't up to scratch and the portion size was about a third of what we received a month prior. I won't be ordering from Derby Grill again. Extremely disappointed and have made an official complaint with Just Eat!

Definitely the best kebab I've ever had. I had a combi of Kofte and lamb shish kebab on naan bread and salad. I haven't had more tender lamb meat at any other kebab shop.

Waited over an hour just to give the delivery driver £20 for nothing 🤮 don’t know what you’re doing there but all of the guys cooking food must be midgets 🤷🏼‍♂️ considering the size of the portions against the price 🤦🏼‍♂️ Kebab was basically deep fried in lard and the shish wasn’t shish or even seasoned 🙄 ps. Also unfriending the person who shouted you out too!!

You never really know what you're gonna get. Throw a few quid at them and you'll get some greasy box, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Thank you derby grill for being the place everyone stops at when we are stumbling home from a club 🙏.

For the high prices being charged i would expect premium food, but all i got was over salted doner kebab, shish that looked 3 days old and a flimsy pitta bread, spent £9 for that combination.... better off going anywhere but here.

Delivery was very quick and efficient the website was easy to use and add options to food. The food was lovely and warm and great price. For a pregnant person I enjoyed my meal and being able to alter the options and extras . Thank u

This place is the undisputed KING of kebabies in Derbyshire and probably Nottinghamshire too. Absolutely unbelievable scenes behind the counter. They NEVER miss.

Staff seemed so moody and ignorant. Veggie burgers were bland and the onion rings were stale and limp. Chips were burnt and rock solid. Would definitely not recommend it cz of this bad experience. I went with my Fiancée and they seemed more interested in her than actually doing a half decent job with food. One word: disgusting!

This takeaway gets vulnerable drunken people in their takeaway and they over change people or take their money and not given them their food I finished work one night sober as anything went in to the take and seen how they treat drunken people it is horrible

Hands down the best kebab I have ever had! The food from here is lovely. Delivery is average, but you can’t complain once you get the food!

We are regular customers, but tonight 18/7/21 that has changed. Derby grill have messed our order up in the past on several occasions but have always corrected things (sometimes more successfully than others) but tonight a simple order of 2 Kebabs was too much for them & on top of that when my wife called i could here the person shouting down the phone without it being on loud speaker mode, rude & argumentative, last thing i heard was "THESE THINGS HAPPEN DARLIN" before hanging up. We won't be ordering again & will not be recommending to anyone.

The food here is one of the best! We placed a fairly large order ranging from pizza, kebab wraps to cheeseburgers and everything was spot on. The customer service was great and each order was tended to with detail. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic service today from Derby Grill. After an issue with the app, the staff were very patient with my 3 phone calls (!!) cancelled, reordered, and even gave me a free dish - despite the problem being the fault of the food app, not them. Food was fresh and tasty, delivery was quick (20 mins) at 6pm on a Saturday, with a great selection so everyone in our group got what they fancied! Won't be using anyone else in the future.

Long time orderer here and I am disgusted with the service from what was a normally good option for ordering. After we placed a order for some kebabs and a pizza the order arrived incorrect and cold on top of that. We called the store immediately and was told to call back instead of seeing to the issue. After calling back we were left to argue with the store about it being too busy to assure any kind of quality control and had the arrogance to tell us to just microwave a meal we have paid for. After a long discussion we were told they would re-deliver the cold order and moments after the call ended.. we received an email informing us to pay for it again or they wouldn't deliver the order. There attitude is disgraceful and a horrible example of how a business should be run and there approach to quality control and objection handling is abysmal. We were long time customers and have spent several hundred pounds on orders over our time ordering and they would prefer to keep a fiver for what I can only assume is unhindered greed than retain any custom from a regular. A truly shameful display and awful handling of customer service and we will not be ordering, nor recommending the store in the future. That's their loss.

The food and service is Great , I highly recommend the Burgers, you can tell it's not the "cheap.meat" and with the charcoal grill the flavour is amazing , if u don't like to much sauce tell them ! As their naturally over generous with the ketchup lol :) A+

Over the years we have used, food is as always amazing and a lovely treat. I love the veggies in the chicken specials. The separate sauces, you get to taste everything before you dip into the sauce. Found a hot chilli slice packed into the stuffed vine leaves. So fresh and hot. Thanks guys and girls at Derby grill.

Absolutely amazing food as always the special mixed kebab is the best in Derby

First time we have ordered from here. Had the chicken and kofte mix kebab with naan and chips. My friend had chicken tikka kebab with pitta and chips. We ate the LOT! The chips were tasty, the naan and pitta was soft and light and our meat was fresh. It all tasted very fresh and not greasy at all. Very happy and will be returning a lot.

We used to visit here in my student days and the Cheesy chips are just as yummy as they were back then. Love it

Thought a we would try the mega grill with cheesy chips. Hardly any salad Luke warm no cheese on chips nothing like Facebook page really disappointed. As can see salad was sprinkled lettuce you can just spot it in pic

We came across this place whilst being on Covid lock down and ended up with it purely as "it was open and delivered" thank goodness it was !!We have used it around 6/7 times and had quite a variety from the menu, we have tried kebabs/pizza/side orders, have to say we haven't had a disappointing meal yet all have been cooked beautifully, decent portions and fresh salad and also delivered hot, even the delivery drivers are pleasant and polite wishing you a good evening/meal. The hubby even rates this place ( trust me he never has a good word to say , so that is high praise !!!!) If I had to pick a recommendation the chicken & shish kebabs.....beautiful

I ordered the Special mixed grill kebab. Grilled Chicken, grilled lamb, grilled kofta and Donner meat (highly recommend if you’re unsure of what to order) it came with a lovely portion of salad including red cabbage, chilli, tomato, cucumber etc... and a nice sized Pitta bread too. The meat was exceptional, such high quality and cooked to perfection, I didn’t find one bit of grissle or toughness within the donner that you usually tend to find. The grilled lamb was the highlight for me, so tender and juicy and the flavour was top quality. Although this being said every part of it was a highlight I really didn’t expect it to be this sort of quality originally. On top of this service was fast and friendly, I ordered on Uber eats and they followed instructions on my order perfectly. I will recommend this place to so many people, great value for money, great food, great service. Can’t get much better than that. Looking forward to my next order!

Went into this take away as it looked good from the outside looking in at the food on display. I ordered veg pizza for me and a Lamb kebab. It cost getting on for £20 We walked along the street eating the food . The first bin we came to the food if you could call it that was swiftly thrown into the bin. The Lamb was like lumps of rubber bullets the pizza tasted of nothing but Salt. Horrible experience and we will never ever go into the place ever again. A total waste of hard earnt money. Take a tip . Don't waste your time and money.

Extremely poor customer service! Did not provide chips with the order as ordered through the website. When queried this over the phone, the owner/manager was very rude and kept saying 'what do you want me to do and that it was our fault and nothing to do with him' ?!?! You cannot blame the customer when you are in the wrong. Certainly WILL NOT BE COMING HERE AGAIN (and I have been a number of times before) Derby Grill - Sort your website out and customer service!!!
