Look ive got to be brutally honest, absolutely disgusting! Chips wasnt cooked neither was the pizza and all arrived soggy and cold!

Ordered burgers for delivery, the buns were burnt to the point of being solid and the burger were also burnt and undercooked from inside. Suggest they were cooked quickly to get order out. Also mushroom burger had no mushrooms on it. Very dissapointing never ordering from here again.

Food was cold and not worth the money they charge

Food was delayed and when it did arrive it was stone cold tried contacting the restaurant numerous time no answer

Took to long to arrive then it wasn’t cooked,won’t be using this place again

I ordered at 5.35pm the confirmation said delivery would be 6.30-6.50. Got a text to say delayed pushed delivery back to after 7pm then received another text saying 7.45! No takeaway should take 2 hours for delivery. I called the shop 3 times and no one answered so we drove there to see what the problem was. They were just bagging our order up at 7.15 just apologised saying they were so busy. They gave us £4 refund for the delivery charge since they didn’t fulfil the delivery. Very poor service and disappointed. We will never use them again and thought we should have been completely refunded due to the ridiculous time frame.

I'm ok with the delivery, I was updated etc - but really disappointed with the order. The menu item (steak kebab) clearly says it's with "fried green peppers, mushrooms and onion" which was what I wanted, but it arrived as 2 plain kebabs meat and pitta only. What was there was fine, but what was missing really spoiled it

Bit like a bad one night stand when the lights go on in the club and there’s no alternative. Something to do before you go to bed, but would you go back? Definitely not!

Food was stone cold, had to warm it up in the microwave

This is usually our regular takeaway and can safe to say am im fuming nearly two hours late. Evem after calling serval times! The food was cold and tbh VILLAGE GRILL i didnt ring back for it to be made fresh and take another two hours. Being an Delivery driver myself loaded with 5 orders never took me nearly two hours i could get 5 deliveries made in 45min max! Not impressed in the slightest!!

Usually order from here all the time but tonght was so disappointed as the kebabs came and they meat was cold didnt each much of it

they never put any sauce on the kebab and it tasted really drie and the shicken was horrible, it was so burnt it tasted like charcoal 🤢🤢🤢 would never get food from here again absolutely TERRIBLE

Always a great meal, unfortunately this time my chicken was delivered on the bone(tikka naan) . I ordered it as last time it was chicken pieces. My wife’s was exactly what was ordered but personally , i ve never had a kebab that is on the bone 🤔will still be ordering in the future though 👍

I ordered a chicken tikka/ donner kebab with chips and salad in a tray with garlic mayonnaise and a garlic Nan bread and a pot of mint sauce but I was sent a chicken tikka/ donner kebab with salad and about a dozen chips in a plain Nan bread and a garlic Nan bread and a pot of mint sauce the donner meat was reheated and hard as well as being cold after phoning up to complain about this and obviously not getting anywhere I put the kebab in the dust bin as it was the best place for it I will obviously not use these premises again as I was disappointed and disgusted with what was delivered to me

Had a steak kebab with mushrooms and peppers. No mushrooms, no peppers, just steak and 2 green chilli's stuck in the middle. Not as advertised. Not very nice. Wouldn't buy again.

Forgot my sauces that I paid for. Chicken was disgusting.

I asked selected mint sauce and extra mint sauce and asked for chilli sauce too but there is no mint sauce and its covered in hot chilli sauce making a lot of it inedible

Got message saying driver on way, 20 mins later we rang and driver was only just leaving.

Very expensive delivery charge . Overpriced small meals

That’s the third time in a row that the order was incorrect this time there was no salad and there was no mint sauce simply not good enough this takeaway has been getting worse as time goes on and it’s time for a change can’t believe how bad it’s getting used to be very good but those times have gone

Pretty much everything was wrong! Ordered a plain single cheeseburger, got a dbl cheeseburger with salad and sauce 🤢 No cheesy chips No cheesy garlic bread Random Hawaiian pizza 🤢

Wrong order arrived. Call the village grill back - got a rude, abrasive and confusing bloke mumbling about replacing it, then hung up. Someone calls me back, to say they’ll collect the wrong order from me but abruptly hung up. 30mins on I’m sat with someone’s order which is now cold in a separate carrier bag, and no idea what’s happening.

Not usually one to moan but seen a slow decline with our last few orders. Tonights was a lot later than usual an unfortunately lukewarm. Sad really as i have used these for years but it may be time for a change.

Added a note asking for yogurt mint sauce AND chilli sauce but just got the latter, and far too much of it. A shame as it ruined what should have been a great kebab. I also tried to call the restaurant just to make sure re: sauces but couldn’t get through.

Ordered family kebab came without bottle of coke & instead of garlic sauce I got mint. However food was nice come on guy it’s happening way too often.

First few times getting food here it was really good. But now it’s just not good. Kabab used to have big chunks of lamb and now it’s small bits of over seasoned and over cooked bits. Chicken and chips are soggy. Will no longer be ordering from here as it seems to be slowly going down hill.

Shocking that they delivered food in such a state!! Took 1.5 hrs, twice as long as delivery time quote. Items delivered looked like they'd been sat on for an hour!! All good cold - small chips flattened and stuck to the paper. Pizza was not what I ordered at all and what did arrive was on a flattened box in a sweaty carrier bag. All cold, all completely inedible. Have many pics of all this (cos was so shocked at the state of it!) and I've requested a full justeat refund. After giving this takeaway soooo many chances to improve I will never order from here again. If you can't deliver what's ordered, and can't deliver properly, hot food in insulated bags, and in reasonable time then you should stop disappointing people

Food was lovely as always. However they forgot a burger off our order. Went outside to ask the driver, who was so lovely! He explained I would have to ring the restaurant. So I did, when I made contact with them after several attempts and told them, they asked my address and then said they would send a replacement. However the only words they said to me was “your address?” And then “15 mins” whilst arguing where I could hear it, they then hung up the phone without any warning

DISGUSTING. Ordered pizza and 3 kebabs . Donner was old, dry and some was as thick as my finger. Nan was more like a pizza base! Sheesh was dry. Spent £40, money down the gutter. NEVER AGAIN! Should be shut down!

Disgusting rubbery food, stale chips. Absolute nightmare. I have been having stomach issues all morning! Avoid!!!!!

The burger was requested plain and came with sauce the chips cold and flopy the grease had soaked through the boxs vile

Didn’t give us sauce, food was dry, samosas were rubbish portions not great chips terrible

AVOID THIS PLACE!! Whilst the food is nice they will rip you off!! They either short change you or if you pay by card they tell you one price and key in another on the card machine. This has happened on a couple of occasions now and is no mistake!!

Ordered delivery cos i thought the insulated delivery bag the drivers use would be better than collecting but it was all delivered tied up tight together just in a plastic bag so pizza was cold, chips were cold and squashed and mayo dip was warm. portion sizes small (apart from dip) and the delivery took well over an hour - Definitely not worth £16!!

It was vile I didn’t even eat it I’ve got pictured it was just seeping with grease!

Delivery was super quick. Arrived bang on 2022 so thanks for that. The food was not nice at all tho. It was greesy and inedible. Do not recomend the kebabs at all

Very disappointing. Won’t be ordering from here again, ordered two pizzas, both pizzas were very poor quality and the bases were old and shouldn’t have been used!! Ordered 1 hot & spicy with tikka and received some kind of hot veg with tikka instead. Very poor food.

Chips were cold the donner meat was cold and hard. Sauces incorrect, definitely not the usual standard we are used to.

Ordered food and it was delivered freezing cold. Rang Village Grill and told them, they delivered the food again and was full of grease. Poor service especially when pregnant.

Went into shop, evening lads I said, not a reply or a smile, oh well I thought , we all can’t be born with manners, il have a large donner wrap, that’ll be £5.40, the kebab was lovely, yet when I checked bank you had taken £6.40 why?

The chips were soggy The chicken looked over cooked Both looked at as they were sitting all day waiting to be ordered. The nicest part was the can of Coca Cola.

Although food was delivered within the time, the garlic bread with cheese was missing. Disappointing, although they delivered the garlic bread within 15 minutes.

Had a email saying food is on its way,I live walking distance from the takeaway so 15 mins later food arrived cold and chicken tikka had a funky smell to it,wife was not happy.

There was very little meat on the kebab and hardly any salad. The kebab was also very cold

SFC and pizzas were over done. Fries good but cold. Wrong beverage delivered. Part of order missing. First and last order for this one :-(

Nearly 3 hours late rude driver

The food arrived just after delivery time which is ok, however it was almost cold and covered in grease. Had to throw half of it away because it was inedible. It should have been put in separate bags really, really disappointed

I visited the village grill and I was greeted with lovely staff members who were willing to help me as it was my first time. The server offered me a range of different products in which he would have recommended and I was spoilt for choice. The food was on point and I could not fault it, it was all fresh and hot. The best kebab I have ever eaten and the Garlic Chicken was honestly the best part. I will definitely be returning to the Village Grill and you most definitely deserve this five star rating :)

So good. It’s become one of our favourite take always good grilled tasty meat in a lovely naan what’s not too like.
