Will take an order online then refuse to deliver, also won't let you know unless you ring then. Abysmal service, avoid

Illegally serving their food in polystyrene still. Reporting them to Trading Standards first thing in the morning. It was bad enough that they used polystyrene before the ban (the reason I didn't use them until the new law), but the fact that they are still using it since the ban, on 1st October, has made my decision to not buy from the Sizzle In again.

The price hikes are getting ridiculous now. £16.70 for a single meal for delivery is just not right. That being said, we are in a crisis and everything is going up. Bit still it does seem excessive.

Two 9 inch pizzas one with 2 toppings and one with 3 and a 5 piece order of spicy chicken wings and an order of cheap frozen onion flavoured rings came to over £28 including delivery. Ripoff and I did not get a free cheesy garlic bread even though i did spend over £20 and should have gotten the free garlic bread. Wont bother with them again

Perhaps a bad day in the office Before I wrote this Review I want to make it clear that when we called Sizzle in to discuss the lady we spoke to was very polite and understanding (although she didn't offer any kind of suggestion) and I want to also point out that this is my opinion and should not have any baring on anyone else using Sizzle In if they wish I've been a chef for 30 years and I'm pretty good at what I do , I'm passionate and I provide the best I can for the money and if I ever have a customer not happy I offer a refund or a replacement meal , no questions asked because don't we all deserve that , I'm going to give a 5 out of 10 for my experience , it would have been a much lower score had the lady we spoke to not been so nice. Ok onto the food , we ordered special Kebab Salad : chopped iceberg and tomato Garlic Sauce: watery low quality brand Chicken: 9 peices of chicken (size of a 50p) Nann bread : more like a chappati 2 x Fries were very good , Crispy , lacked seasoning though Kebab meat: Not the best I've ever eaten but kebab meat is what it is. Bottle of Diet Coke Delivery Total COST £22.50 I can appreciate that ulverston eats take quite a hefty service charge and delivery was quite pricey but that still leave £16.43 to play with To make the best mixed kebab you've ever tried would cost £3.70 to put together , fries X 2 and a diet coke , your looking a 5.25 all in , surely with 11 quid there's room to smash the competition into a thousand peace's Because if you won't , someone will

Just the phone order hard work, took delivery which took way over a hr after been told 40 minutes never received our free garlic bread pizza luke warm, onion rings mushy hate leaving a bad review but it filled a hole and that's about it nothing to sing home about and we won't return

Terrible service. I ordered food on "Ulverston eats" from "Ulverston sizzle inn" to be delivered to "Ulverston". I phoned up to check where the food was and their response was to tell me they had cancelled my order because I live too far away. I explained the above situation and was told "Im sure you can figure it out". Would not eat here in the near future until the service improves. Lastly I would add that we left our mobile number so they could tell us of any problems but it was me that had to phone them to find out it had been cancelled. In reply to the owners comment. You made no attempt to call me on the mobile number given for such an issue. Also if you were called "Sizzle In" and based in ulverston I could understand not delivering to parts of ulverston. However if the town name is in your title I suggest delivering to all parts of it.

I pre-ordered through 'ulverston eats' for NYE at 9:30 in the morning, knowing they'll be busy tonight, get a message at 4:10 saying my order is cancelled, when asked why, I was told it's because we live closer to the Barrow one so need to order there. Our postcode is LA12 ULVERSTON! Therefore the Barrow store refuses to deliver to us!! Absolutely useless! In other words they simply cannot be bothered!

Como nuestro hotel solo tenía un menú muy limitado, decidimos pedir comida para llevar. Fuimos a Sizzle Inn por un kebab y un rollito de pollo. Los llevamos de regreso al hotel y la comida aún estaba caliente y deliciosa. Volvería otra vez si viviéramos aquí.

Pensé que le daría a Sizzle Inn una primera oportunidad, ya que hemos estado restringidos en nuestra capacidad de compra y dependemos del apoyo de familiares y amigos. Recibir una comida para llevar parecía una buena idea, así que elegimos Sizzle y al llamar para dar nuestro pedido, una señora muy educada y alegre respondió el teléfono y nos habló de las diversas opciones que podíamos elegir. Como soy partidario de una buena hamburguesa de ternera, opté por el cuarto de libra de queso con lechuga y mayonesa con papas fritas. Fueron entregados a tiempo, muy sabrosos y no pudieron ser criticados. Me sorprendió lo calientes que se habían mantenido durante el parto. Muy recomendable y sin duda volveré a pedir.

Ordered delivery from sizzle in again, food arrived quickly and was piping hot. Really impressed with their online ordering and delivery service, which keeps you updated with the status of your order and the expected delivery time. We had calzone and our sons had SFC and a cheeseburger; they both really enjoyed their meals (the burger was awesome, apparently!) We'll definitely use again next time we fancy some Friday night fast food

I popped here in News Year Day for some cheesy chips. You can’t view the making of the food whatsoever which is quite unusual for a kebab place. I asked for ketchup and as they did it in another room, they just squirted it all over the chips rather than in a blob on the side. The chips were barely luke warm and the cheese was most definitely not cheese. It was a very strange texture and didn’t taste like cheese whatsoever. In fact it didn’t taste like anything. I would recommend taking a trip to Chippy Bank around the corner instead!

Pedimos dos pizzas grandes, una vegetariana y otra de carne. Ambos totalmente sosos, comieron una rebanada y dejaron el resto. Las alitas de pollo también eran insípidas. ¡Qué vergüenza podría ser mucho mejor con un poco más de esfuerzo!

Had the folded Pizza meal, tasty, piping hot, presented nicely too. First time I've ever used a takeaway Pizza shop, will definitely go again. Shop is very clean, staff friendly, food great.😊

We usually go to Flames in Ulverston but thought we would have a change🤔 can safely say we will stick with Flames in the future!!!

We ordered 2 medium pizzas. One vegetarian, one seafood. Now this is how the scenario played out! On the vegetarian pizza Olives were included, I asked them if they could not be added. Yes no problem! I asked if I could have a veggie replacement (for the absent olives). No a replacement would cost an extra 80p. I then asked if the olives you are not using on the vegetarian one could they please go on the seafood one? No that would cost an extra 80p?? This conversation went backwards and forwards with unseen people behind a screen. Now just wanting to get my food and out of here. The pizzas were bland, obviously from frozen. Go to Flames instead. Nicer people there too.

A superb takeaway after a long tiring day. Food was excellent, perfectly cooked, lovely and hot and was ready when picked up. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Will definitely be back again

I was too tired to cook so a take away it was, instead of ordering my usual spicy hot shot I looked at the online menu. The sizzle in special pizza with extra jalapeño took my fancy, fast delivery by a lovely gentleman and we tucked in, stunning! Absolutely delicious pizza, highly recommended xx

Used to visit the Sizzle Inn frequently and always enjoyed it, hadn't ordered in a long time but tonight they have definitely delivered. The donner kebab (ordered with a pitta as the 'meal' version comes on a garlic bread?) was lovely, the chips crispy not greasy and the salad fresh, and the peri peri sauce was nice and hot. It was easy to order online, although payment is made in cash on delivery, and the order was delivered promptly, hot and not a soggy chip in sight. Will be ordering from the Sizzle Inn more often! Their Spicy Hot Shot pizza is also delicious.

My fiancé and I are regulars to this take away, we have always been extremely happy with the food and the service. However...... today 11th November we were extremely disappointed, we ordered two pizzas with extra toppings and a tray of donner meat, usually this is around £18 -£20 TODAY, however it was £24+! I rang back to query the mistake but was told the prices had gone up. No problem we thought...until the food came, not sure where the extra toppings were!!! If people up their prices the food should reflect that.

Asked my friend to order my food with his as I had to go around the corner to a cash machine- he told the staff on the till i would pay when I got back. When I returned nobody at the till, my friends food arrived and we continued to wait. They let us wait around 25 minutes until we asked where the order was, the staff then telling us "well you didn't pay", despite my friend explaining I'd pay when I got back and the staff saying anything about it being a problem processing the order until i got back. Staff didn't seem interested in providing any type of decent service, blaming it 'being busy' (only about 4 orders had been done the entire time we where there) and trying to push the blame back on to us, which would of been fair if it was communicated in any way that it wouldn't be done until I had paid and if there was ever anyone on the till, but this wasn't the case. Ended up leaving and going to Flames around the corner, where the food was great and the service excellent. Extremely poor service.

Good spot and made fresh. Visit a few times a month and reckon you should try here. Friendly and fast and do good deals. Garlic bread is better than the Italians! Give it a go

My fiancée and I have eaten pizza from all over the UK and abroad ..... Sizzle inn are the BEST pizzas we have ever tasted ... Consistently well cooked and tasty for a least the last 3 years ... Highly recommend !!!!

I buy pizza from sizzle in every week. very tasty and well cooked.decent topping and good quality cheese. The kebabs are also nice.

Awful food most likely from frozen,one of the worse take always I've ever eaten. Had a burger and chicken kebab and couldn't eat any of it. Why is it in this day and age people think its ok to serve such bad food. Need to up your game big time
