Unfortunately, I encountered a very bad service. I bought a Turkish doner kebab dish and bought it here. When a bad service guy wanted to complete my order, I found that there were no salads dishes in my kebab. I politely told him, but he was very rude and asked me why I didn't tell him, shouldn't there be salad in the kebab? Do not recommend this place

Worst kebab shop in Kendal, Service and attitude are very poor. Had a kebab the other night not very much meat and very little salad few onions and a bit of lettuce. 👎

Collected 2 pepperoni pizzas, very cheap so wasn't very optimistic but definitely worth it; didn't skimp out on the pepperoni like you see at a lot of takeaways, asked for extra cheese on one of the pizzas and they definitely delivered on that front as well! Upon collection staff were very friendly. Seen lots of reviews about bad delivery (wrong orders .etc.) and other food such as kebabs being bad so can't comment on those things but our experience was very good.

Okay, so initially I was like, huh? Ordered a delivery and the driver stood at our open door without saying anything, our 3 yo daughter came to get us. But that aside, WOW! We ordered a Donner kabab and it was nice, while we are it, we left the two pizzas in our warm oven until we could get back to them when the kids went to sleep. Holy mother! They were delicious! Some of the BEST pizzas we have EVER had! Dominos has nothing on these guys! I had a fantastic ham and mushroom stuffed crust and the wife had a pepperoni stuffed crust. The crust of both pizzas was firm to the touch, but once you took a bite they were perfectly soft. The toppings were obviously fresh and punched our taste buds!

got pizza and chips for my daughter on sat night , the pizza wasn't very nice it was dry , phoned and told them and we got another delivery the night after to compensate , pizza was fantastic and the staff were so sorry and accommodating, this is the first time I've had to complain and it was put right straight away , will definitely order again , well done to all the staff it was lovely , also had the kebabs and they are lovely , thank you to all that work there

Pizza Takeaway but also do deliveries either by ring or online. Have a large selection of pizzas, kebabs, wraps, burgers, Southern fried chicken and kids meals. Also have drinks and desserts available. Good value for money.

We ordered a chicken kebab this evening, the kebab was tiny, barely any chicken. When I rang to tell them I was told that was a regular size however I do not think it was worth the £26 we spent. Delivery time was good and food did taste great, just wasn’t great portion sizes.

I had ordered food online and there was a disaster with the delivery/pick up and when I called the shop my phone died and I could no longer contact them as I did not have a phone charger. When I called the next day they said to come back and they would redo my order. All the staff were super friendly and patient when I explained. All communication I had with the staff on telephone and in the shop was lovely, they were extremely polite and very welcoming. The food is piping hot and delicious! I would highly recommend this takeaway and I will definitely be returning when I visit the kendal area!

I ate my chips cheese and gravy to find this at the the bottom that had burnt a whole in the packaging. Looks like some sort of battered chicken (hopefully).. Luckily I don't have any allergies or requirements but still won't be returning!

I usually don't review restaurants, unless they're really good, or really bad. Unfortunately it's the latter in this case. When I was ordering a collection, everything was fine. Not particularly tasty, but it'll do for the price (depending what you order). But then for the first time I ordered a delivery. I ordered Donner calzone (And onion rings and couple of drinks, but they were fine. Even though the drinks were disgustingly warm). And what I received was an abomination. Half of the toppings were on the top of the box. And even though I ordered calzone, it was a regular pizza in a very odd shape (it was a square with a few rounded bits), and it was cut in an equally peculiar way. I had tiny triangles, huge squares, sometimes it was just a cut away crust, sometimes something that looked like a regular square turned out to be a triangle, a square, and an oval. I made a huge mess trying to eat it. It was just falling apart every time I picked up a "piece". I would request a refund, but I just can't be arsed at this hour... Anyone giving a 5 star review for this restaurant is either delusional or has very poor standards. It was definitely last time I ordered from this restaurant.

After 2 years of my daughter and I living in kirkby lonsdale, we were finally able to buy santorino pizza again.in kendalk. As always delicious, unbeatable, even the chocolate cake, very good, the staff always polite and friendly, clean place. santorino is our favorite place, we always have and will never change our minds. They also gave us an extra portion of cake. they have always been generous and the prices too low for the goodness and quality of the food..Jenny and Agata .

Placed order online as one of the only places that delivered to our address. (16 minutes away) Paid £4 for delivery They called up and said they won't deliver that far unless I pay an extra £5 cash when delivered. I didn't feel a £9 delivery fee for my already £26 pound order... And a 16 minute drive was fair so refused to pay the extra. They cancel the order.....which was fine... no issues if thats that had been the end of it..... They then call me up 15 minutes later saying they don't do refunds.... and I will need to contact the website I ordered from..... yet the website directed me to the shop directly to get the refund. The shop just said I should have called instead of ordering online.... 16 minutes is to far!? And hung up! I'm from the South and here for a holiday so might be spoilt down there... but didnt think 16minutes was an outrageous time..... I would have collected myself but dislocated a finger and can't currently drive.... just my luck haha So I'm currently 26 pound out of pocket.... no food... and no refund....a painful finger and need to wait till tomorrow to even attempt to speak to someone to get my money back....

Food was okay. However delivery person didn't even wait for me to door before driving off. It was just dropped in front of the door. Don't order from there, it's probably best to collect instead.

Was usually a very good/convenient little takeaway, but tonight I put an order through online to be paid via cash in hand and tried to explain how part of my order defaulted to tango orange instead of Fanta (the latter wasn't listed properly on their Foodhub menu) however upon trying to explain to the guy at the till he just kept repeating "you've paid for this" (I hadnt paid, I selected 'collect' and 'pay with cash') and "it's gone through the system". I asked politely if he could just run it through again, and he simply walked away with my order. 18 months of customer loyalty down the drain over a simple error they were too stubborn to sort! The £5 they missed out on however was contently spent on a Wetherspoon's pint and desert instead, def recommend😋

We ordered a pizza meal deal last night we had to wait over 3 hours for delivery rang and asked how long it would be was told around half an hour after half an hour had been and gone I rang them said I wanted to complain and was told YOU CAN MAKE AS MANY COMPLAINTS AS YOU LIKE MY FRIEND I DONT GIVE A F**KGreat customer service AVOID

Food was amazing the guys couldn't do enough for us as we had broken down in the car park and they offered to help. Luckily we have recovery.

I have used this kebab shop loads of time and have always been super happy with what we have had but this time I went in and ordered and witnessed the cook cutting raw chicken in half to put on the grill and then used the same knife to cut open my pitta bread and then used it again to help pick the kebab meat up to put in my pitta. Not been eaten and will not be using again after tonight!

I visit this outlet on a very regular basis and am full of praise for their dedicated professionalism and extremely courteous customer service skills. The food is freshly cooked to order and is absolutely delicious, tasty and hot. The chicken is delicious and has become a firm favourite of mine. The staff are friendly and courteous and obviously understand that the customer is the very reason for the business. Each time I visit, this outlet not only meets my expectations but exceeds them by far. I would heartily recommend Santorino's as being THE place to eat in Kendal.

Ordered pizza. Off. Called back to ask for a replacement. Didn’t seem to understand the word off?!! Extremely worrying. Called back to advise them it was the anchovies. They told me pizza was in the oven. Received ‘OFF!’ Pizza AGAIN! Sent it back. Said don’t send my anchovies again. Called back and was told I was wrong there were no ‘off!’ Anchovies on the second pizza they had picked the ‘off’ anchovies off it! I tried to explain there was. That you don’t pick off food off fresh food and that the pizza was in the oven when I called back and received a new excuse the pizza wasn’t in the oven it was on the top.. then ‘how did you know they were off?’ ‘Because it smelt and tasted rancid! So strongly I threw up!’I do not really understand what is being missed here??When I said ‘because I am a chef!’The phone was put down. We’ve used this takeaway in the past and it has always been good. This evening however our order was incorrect, probably due to the fact there was no continuity of staff; we were served by 3 different people. The food we did receive was cold and greasy and the limp, bitter clump of lettuce could in no way be classed as a salad. Very disappointing.

I have got food from here since it opened and never had a problem it was really nice food but we ordered the other night and it was awful, the pizza was cold (for me to say its cold it must of been really cold as I don't do hot food) plus they have taken bbq base off the menu for some reason. The kebab was cold and tasted awful aswel. Never again I don't think unless I hear its picked back up

Not good enough service, long delivery times

Did an order by phone, they got it wrong, were rude when I rang to say this, was put on hold for 5 mins, then cut off. Do not appreciate being called “love” in a condensing way. Waited an hour for replacement, delivery guy was apologetic enough, but by then I’d lost my appetite. 2 hours from ordering to receiving the right order, which was under par food. All in all not great, and won’t be ordering or visiting again.

Kebab was ok if you like a tiny pitta bread that i couldnt open and few pieces of lettuce ( the salad) . My garlic bread with cheese had no garlic i could taste! And my extra portion of garlic mayo was yoghurt with mint??? Wont be ordering again.

Can't recommend the burgers, or chicken. They're greasy and not very flavoursome. I've not tried their pizzas so, maybe that's where their good reviews come from?

The food was 45 minutes late and when it got here the pizzas were hard and the chips were missing. They refused to refund them or send them separately and just said "sorry we are busy". It's not the customer's fault if you can't stick to an order time and get it right. Avoid this place.

I am a regular customer of this outlet and have always enjoyed beautifully prepared and cooked food. The customer service skills of the staff are really superlative in every respect and it really is a pleasure to be a customer. Delicious chicken, delicious burgers and delicious tasty pizzas - all cooked to absolute perfection. I would heartily recommend this establishment.

Friendly guys who gave us a great value meal and very quickly. We got the meal deal 2, the pizza, chips and kebabs were all very good. The dough of the pizza was not too heavy and the crusts had a good consistency. Everything fresh and delicious. Recommend

Visited here as our normal kebab house (next door) has really gone down hill. So was really surprised at the quality of this spot, Chicken was perfectly cooked and adequate on portion size along with the Kebab meat which was of good quality. So dont waste your money two doors down this establishment has not cut corners and produce much better food both portion size and quality.

Another visit to Santorino for a delicious half-pound burger with salad. This was beautifully prepared and was hot and tasty. Once again I would heartily recommend this outlet either for a meal or, in my case this time, a delicious snack.

Take orders through just eat but can't guarantee delivery slot waited nearly an hour food is ok the staff need to go to some sort of training on how to talk to there customers

I visited this takeaway due to it being the only takeaway I could find that was open in kendal. I ordered four piece chicken with chips and can honestly say the flavouring on the chicken was non existent and was left feeling a bit ripped off. My advise is avoid this place but if you have no choice as everywhere else is closed do NOT order the chicken as you will be disappointed!!

I would happily recommend Santorino's. There is a huge variety of food on offer, which is beautifully prepared and is delicious. The counter staff offer a superlative friendly service which is much appreciated.

This evening I ordered a 14" pepperoni regular base pizza from santorino kendal. I asked for delivery as soon as possible.It arrived in 20 minutes, piping hot and was delicious.The was plenty of pepperoni and it was the tastiest pizza I have eaten for a long time. I will most definitely be using Santorino takeaway again.

Ordered chicken and chips and a pizza. Asked on the phone that I want chicken breasts! I got some wings and chicken legs really greasy and the batter on the chicken was not fully fried! The pizza was allright, wouldn't recommend the shop.
