Sizzle in Aberdeen City

I got instead of a mixed meat kebab wrap I got a Donner kebab in a burnt pitta bread. After complaining we just got added chicken in the box. We was only in to be social but letting him know his mistakes after leaving he was so rude. I didn't want no money back just to let him know to try learn from his mistakes he was just rude. Honestly, very disappointed. From £37 order £30 are going to the bin. The pita gyro was alright but the souvlaki…awfully disappointing. Fries and chicken nuggets undercooked as well. Called to complain and absolutely no form of understanding, at the end they just hanged up on us. Wont be ordering anymore.

Came here on a Saturday night (18th June) and it was closed when everywhere it was advertised as open online until some late hour, like midnight. It was around 10pm when I came.

Just paid £17 for hot dog and chips also cheeseburger with very small chips and gravy absolutely disgusted the bun was hard no sauce on hot dog and chips dry very disappointed l.

Can not believe I have just paid £8 for a burger without chips, processed burger with no taste! Then a chicken burger that's grilled with less than a quarter of a chicken. What an overpriced meal that was. Frozen cheese sticks. Ugh. Never again! Avoid!

Absolutely disappointed. Box meal costed 18.99£ + 2.50£ delivery. Ordered food through Just Eat. First of all - delivery 15 mins late. Food arrived thrown in to a one box. Chips and salad were thrown in everywhere,with meat witch looked not presentable at all... salad were dry and not fresh at all.. Chips were over fried. And meat was just dry and plain. Looked more like someone's leftovers from previous meal. Never ordering from Sizzle again! And definitely not worth the price.

Ordered via Just Eat last night. Hadn't ordered from here before but my partner lived in Greece for many years so wanted to give her a wee taste of her childhood. Both my partner and myself were very impressed. Food was delivered on time, chips were still crispy, pita breads had that nicely charred elements and the meat was great, especially the port gyro. Since the restaurant recognised we were a new customer they even threw in a large 2l bottle of Irn Bru for free. Will order again!

The flood is quiet balanced. Authentic taste and nice on the pallets. Definately recommend it and will be going their again.

Got told food would be 45mins and it actually took over 2 hours to arrive a whole hour after the text saying my food was on its way! When the food did arrive it was look warm soggy and the smallest portions I’ve even seen from a takeaway very unimpressed especially how delivery was about £4/£5. I phoned about an hour after the food was meant to arrive and got very bad customer service from a young lady on the phone who didn’t even seem to care about the issues I was having. Would not recommend anyone to go there at all unless they can sort these issues out

Sorry to say this as the guy who served us seemed nice but he really struggled to understand our order and almost got it wrong. I ordered a feta cheese burger and it was basically inedible. The chips and stuff were OK but I won't be rushing back.

Very good food as well as very friendly staff. It's so nice that at last we've found gyros and freddo coffees here, means a lot to the Greeks. Will definetely be back for some more gyro. Try the burgers as well seem and taste really good!!

absolutely terrible shambles of a place

Melting cheese through the meal of someone who is lactose intolerant, then fobbing me off and telling me to come and pick up a replacement myself is not how I expect to be treated when I've ordered food for my lunch at work. Preordering food and still being told that I wouldn't get it for over an hour and a half after the place opened (it's about a mile away) is ridiculous, but having the food then turn up 45 minutes earlier than that, after having juggled around the times when I would actually be able to eat meant that it all would have been cold anyway. Absolutely abysmal service and will 100% not be ordering from here again.

Ordered food 2 hours ago and still haven't been delivered

ordered around half 2, they set delivery time for 3:40 yet delivered at 4:10... food was cold and was not worth the almost 2 hour wait. I understand it takes time but 1 hour 50 minutes is a bit excessive... the fact they set the time for 3:40 yet was late by half an hour from their OWN time is absolutely ridiculous. every time I order it's the same kind of situation. always takes an overly excessive amount of time.

Ordered food at 11:44 got a time of 12:20 delivery but when it was accepted another 1hr and 15 minutes got added to it meaning I had to wait till 1:30 for the food. The chips was drowned in BBQ sauce when I asked for BBQ sauce separate, the wrap had 2peices of chicken and filled with coleslaw @ BBQ Sauce & the spare ribs was also drowned with sauce

Food was barely warm ordered at 756 pm received 10 pm

I ordered my daughter a chicken bites kids meal... the chicken was almost like it hadn't been cooked properly. Order was missing chips which I was told would be on its way asap and I still haven't received it from 1pm this afternoon it's now almost 4. Notification saying food was on its was turned up half hour later despite me staying not far from sizzlers. Food was cold. Poor poor. Fuming about my chips. Juice was good tho. Well done barrs 😂

Ordered chips with chilli and asked with a burger without cheese as I have an allergy. They didn't put cheese in my burger but they covered my chips and chilli with it 😡 Dissapointed was not the word.

The spare ribs we ordered were actually belly pork. Disappointing.

Fillet steak roll and the Chicken wrap were lukewarm and the Icecream was pretty much melted. Delivery driver arrived at booked time.

Shocking. Waiting 1 hour and 45 minutes for my food to be delivered. That was even phoning and asking how long it would be. Won't be ordering from here again.

Delivery was 20 mins early which was great but the food just keeps getting worse! I remember the good old days of Sizzlers when it was on Justice mill and Windmill Brae and the food was amazing. These days the burgers are dripping with grease, the buns are stale, the chips are reheated to death in mingin oil and it's quite obvious that all the ingredients are the cheapest of the cheap. Never again, I'm aff it!!

2 hours later, no sign of food...

Food was late, called to Question the delivery time and found the woman to be very short and rude. When it arrived ended up having to bin in, Burger was like a piece of plastic, chips were Soggy like they has been in the box for much too long. Really disappointed as got a similar order 2 months ago and it was great, delivery was on time on that occasion and the food was fresh. This experience has put me off returning especially the womans customer service on the phone.

Well it's 22.33 and it's still not here. Ordered at 20.50 and said it had been delivered. But it's not. What a waste !

After an hour and a half Was given someone else's food, driver was back within 10 minutes with our order. My only issue with the food was hotdog buns were cut so much the bun was in two halves, kind of impossible to eat a hotdog with sauce and onions with a bun that's in bits.

Always take away from sizzler and can't fault the food. Delivery is always very speedy and comes before given delivery time. Recommend the All day breakfast!

Two hour delivery time is not great by anyones standard. Ordered from here with a 45-60 minute delivery time, which was my absolute limit anyway. Almost immediatelly after ordering i got an update saying they had added a further 30 minutes to my delivery time. So we are now at 90 minutes. Arrived 5 minutes short of the two hour mark. Cold may i add.

Burger was shocking... Had one bite and then binned it. It was vile

The portions of the food are enormous! I've ordered a scampi meal and a baked potato. They were so tasty! The baked potato had so much cheese on it, it was lovely! I always enjoy ordering from here and I would definitely recommend it. Thanks guys for the delicious meal

Great service as usual. One item they didn't have but they called and swapped it for something else.

You forgot the ice cream for the apple crumble, the cream was there though. I would still order again as the food was good quality and was delivered faster than the given time

Ordered food almost 2 and half hours ago and still waiting on food?

Hotdog was average, chips absolutely bowfin, Fits the point?

Had to wait over 2 hours for my order then was lied to by the woman on the phone saying my order would be 20 minutes but ended up being an hour. I order a big breakfast asked for no beans I got beans! We were informed our food was ready when we rang the 2nd time out of 3 calls so which made our food soggy! Will definitely not be ordering from here again

It's almost been two hours now since we placed our order and the food still hasn't arrived. Although the food tastes great the delivery time is shocking and disappointing, it will definitely prevent us from ordering from here again.

Ordered at 20.50 advised delivery would be 21.50 to then order and for the website to say they added 20 extra minutes delivery time so new delivery time was 22.10. Was still waiting for the order to arrive at 22.40, phoned the shop to find out that our order had not yet left the shop but it had been made up & was waiting to go but it would be a while yet because they have to go to Portlethen first. They were nice enough on the phone when we called to cancel but I am still never placing an order here again.

Took more than 2 hours to arrive, phoned up a few times to ask where it was and was told it would be there any minute (half an hour before it arrived) Thought maybe the wait would be worth it cause I was starving but sadly that was not the case, the bacon was like biting into cold cardboard and the sausage was just absolutely terrible, like soggy plastic. If you love long waits and terrible food, this is the place for you.

Ordered at 21:15, arrived at 00:15. Food was then cold, chips had been reheated and unable to eat them. When the restaurant was phoned to complain, we were told that we would still have to pay full price for a delivery 3 hours after order and we should've cancelled the order, this was not an option as by the time the food arrived, everywhere else was closed. The attitude of the restaurant staff on the phone was shocking, no customer service at all. Not impressed, avoid at all costs.

While food was good I was left gobsmacked when I bit into my Pulled Pork Wrap and discover an 1.5 inch long piece of plastic which cut the inside of my mouth.

The food was awful - £18.53 worth straight into the bin. I've learned this lesson and won't order from Sizzlers again.

Sizzlers do the best burgers in Aberdeen by far was disappointed with the chips as they were stone cold so nobody ate there chips so we are still quite hungry so having to cook our own chips for everyone to fill them up

Final chance for this place. Every time ive ordered food has been over 1 hour late. And made to a very poor standard. This has happened mý last four times ive ordered from here. Will not be ordering again. The burger wasnt even beef i dont know what it was but ug was disgusting. My food was thrown in the bin no salad either. Asked for half a rack of ribs and git somethinv that looked like it had just been cleared of someones plate. Disgusting takeaway. Never again

The delivery is just ridiculous. Ordered at 7:25pm didn't get it until almost 10pm, 2.5 hours for chips and chicken bites.. haha.

Waited nearly two hours for delivery. When I called I got told it was leaving the store, called back half hour later & it had only just left the store by 10 minutes. I then get the food after another 20 minutes. The chips & onion rings were cold. The churro I ordered, came with the wrong topping & the sauce had poured out of the tub & I was left with a spoonful of sauce. They were undercooked & smothered in grease. I still had to pay £2.50. Won't be ordering again.

Ordered at 7.40 delivered at 9.40 and I stay 2.8 miles (10mins) drive from restaurant I could of walked in (45min walk) and back again and still got my food quicker! Food was luke warm and had to be re heated! They need to stick to walk in only as delivery is a joke.

Haven't had Sizzlers before but my daughter has. Food was absolutely lovely. Couldn't fault it.

The order didn't come, very disappointed in the service I received

No tea with the breakfast. Order 30 minutes late even after restaurant adding 20 minutes to the delivery time (over 1.t hours to deliver in total) and cold by the time of arrival. Won't be back.

Ordered at 18:50 was told delivery would be at 20:20 then a text at 20:25 saying it's on its way now it's 21:00 and still no delivery, which by the way I'm paying £3.50 for. Very very poor service

Have ordered a few times from here before with no issues until last week. My husband ordered a chicken curry with just onions. Curry was delivered with no onions and half the chicken was brick hard and black inside. We called the restaurant, not looking to make a complaint just asked for another one to be delivered. This was around 19:40, at 21:45/21:50 the second curry was delivered!! We were in bed and turned the ordered down as this was a completely unacceptable waiting time for a re-order! Disgraceful customer service and so disappointed that I won't be able to order from you again! No apology ever received!!

I placed an order at 18.05 was told it would be delivered by 19.30 it never arrived until 20.00 then when we did recieve the food it was that cold I wouldn't even have it to my dog

Order time was 18:35 with original time of 19:45 however once confirmed by sizzlers this was changed to 20:15, after still not receiving our food at 20:25 I called to be told they were just waiting for the driver to complete his other deliveries and our food would be with us approx 21:00. I cancelled order with an unhappy household! Very poor delivery service... cannot comment on food!

Been eating sizzler' burgers for at least 23 years. Windmill Brae days and can honestly say their burgers are just as tasty as ever. My bacon was burnt but fortunately I like it like that.
