One of the best takeaways in the area, without a doubt. Great service, high quality and tasty food. Will be ordering from Sitar for years to come! The vegetarian options are all delicious too.

Takeaway only. Not bad. Could have better menu. Drinks are pricy. Soft Drinks only. Awkward parking. Okay if on foot. Better pick up service. Too much better competition around though.

Ordered first time from here tonight It’s local & I did the homework as it’s a serious business for an Indian to order a curry. I looked at value for money & flavour , portion size , variety & compared with 3 other locals Sitar was best value, great portions and tasty Delivery guy was a gent too We had chicken korma big portions x2, 2 peshwari naans, mushroom rice , starter sheekh kebab (2 long) mutar paneer Well done guys - keep it up

Being using the Sitar for over 30 years (there was a restaurant there once), lovely family business. Food is the best in the area and we should know, we lived here for 38 years. Just ordered another dinner for delivery - yum

Recently ordered a takeaway from Sitar while at my daughter's house for the evening and I have to say that it arrived quickly, hot and most importantly the food was GREAT. I agree with the 'As Important to South Norwood as the clock tower' review by Jabba H. Maybe a little more expensive than some others BUT the food is the best in the area.

Sitar had offered an excellent Indian food. You should try its tandori chicken as I find it to be one of the best amongst what I ever visited.

As always. Great food. Great prices and lovely service. Clean, tasty and generous portions! Only thing left to say is don't miss out. Order ASAP!

This used to be the best restaurant in the area but sadly now it's only a takeaway. The food is of high quality but more expensive that other locals. Average to long delivery times depending on when you order certainly never less than 45-60 mins.
