Friendly staff but food was absolutely shocking. Worst take away I’ve had in years total waste of money .

Korma was bland recieved a chicken jalfrezi instead of prawn and a plain naan instead of a Peshawari. Overall not great

The restaurant has a very friendly atmosphere and the worker were very friendly and polite they all had smiles on their face when serving. it had fast service as well. I had never tasted food that was as good as theirs.

On weekday visit, we were only customer so can't say about atmosphere much. Food was average. Don't think chef was serious to cook as didn't follow instructions for mild curry, served very hot.

For the first time the restaurant didn’t send the pilau rice and onion salad that we ordered but it didn’t spoil an otherwise lovely meal.

Pretty good place for vegetarian and vegan options. The service was a little slow on a Sunday night but that’s because there was only one person taking the order, cooking and serving. So we had a wait a little but overall the food was delicious and it tasted authentic, so the wait was worth it. They have a range of starters and chaat items that you wouldn’t regularly expect.

Both curry's were extremely hot as in far too spicy ive ordered quite a few time and always enjoyed them but the last 2 I've had I've not been able to eat not happy at all

We've ordered from here several times and loved it, never had a bad meal. However, the biryani tonight was awful. It was so so hot I couldn't eat it. The veg curry that normally comes with a biryani was just sauce and not much of it. We haven't even touched the naan bread. Such a disappointing meal that's really put me off somewhere we normally like.

Decent venue, good music but too loud for the size of space. Cannot talk to each other We went for lohri party, 2 hours later at 8:30, starter was served. Party was scheduled from 6:30 pm to 11:30 pm At 10:45 pm we decided to leave after waiting for main course for over 2 hours. Honestly really disappointed, they really ruined our special day, because today was our marriage anniversary. My wife thought it will be different experience, celebrating lohri with our anniversary. But it was bad idea. Maybe some other restaurant but not sittar in Oldbury.

Nan bread flat and I would guess shop bought....curry wasn't chicken tikka masala....it should be clearer...I threw chicken away....just didn't look right...looked like chicken pieces had a tail attached... maybe the way its cooked, but put me off... sauce of curry ok...mint sauce,very minty like you put straight onto lamb...I had curry from here years ago and was nice... not sure what happened...not worth £16!!.

We were supposed to be at another restaurant but they were full and ended up here by a quick Google search. It was a pleasant surprise. The staff is very customer friendly and helped us in choosing the best dishes. The food is very good quality and taste. And the chef is also able to customise the spice levels based on requirements. The ambience is quite good as well.

Collection was ten minutes later than stated. Food was average.

Mixed review.. our starter was nice but the curries were tasteless & not any spice at all in the jalfrezi,both curries were lukewarm. Thin strips of chicken instead of usual diced chicken. Disappointing & won't order again.

The Dhall wasn’t as nice as it usually is and the Parathas were a little overdone. Not the usual standard we have come to expect from Sitaar where we usually order every fortnight.

Iv had food here for a couple of years know and find the food beautiful. While presented. Staff are so friendly here.

Yet again, great food delivered on time. Large portion sizes so also really good value for money. I’ve had several takeaways from here in the past year and every one has been spot on, highly recommend.

We went here this evening for dinner and were so pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff and amazing food. Ash looked after us and he was very kind, friendly and professional. The food is absolutely delicious and we will definitely come back!

After placing my order I had received two messages advising that my order would be late. A revised time was quoted then shortly after receiving the second text there was a knock on the door and my food had arrived. I like a Chicken Pathia but they do tend to vary a lot between restaurants. This one seemed to have pineapple in it which is not to my taste. The starter and quality of the food was good, delivery was also good but sadly the Pathia isn’t for me.

Arrived hot and the delivery driver was very polite. Food was plentiful and delicious, top quality Will order again and recommend to friends.

Haven’t tried this restaurant before but the food tasted great and arrived warm. Only thing that let it down was that the food turned up 15 minute late.

Fantastic flavours. Good oprions for different dietary requirement. My wife & I are local and love it here for the broad choice, spotless premises, welcoming staff and truly delicious fresh food. Everything comes hot and not microwaved. They're a polite, honest establishment that makes a truly decent curry. Prices are an absolute bargain also! Good for a cheapie night in or a big family get together- or treat the missus for a dine in.

We visited this evening for the first time. We’re new to the area and have been in search of a good Indian restaurant. This place was absolutely lovely. We were looked after by a nice man called Ash, the service was fantastic and the food was amazing. Proper authentic Indian food cooked to perfection, great tasting and great presentation. We’ll definitely be back soon, next time we’ll bring all the family. Cheers Ash and staff.

Good Indian, nice starters, naan and curry. Only thing was it was late. We called as it showed up as delivered but wasn’t. The women hung up, which wasn’t very useful. We just asked questions in case it went to wrong house never was rude once, but was rude back. Could of gained a new costumer but wouldn’t trust it again after that call. Thank you though. Was lovely food.

The worst Indian we have ever had, we actually threw it away and ordered elsewhere. The chicken tikka was like what you’d get from a fish n chip shop just of a very poor quality. The puri was over cooked and hard. The fish pakora was disgusting. The saag aloo looked and tasted terrible. The lamb chops were ok but tiny and basically bone The Bombay aloo was bland Honestly I’ve never ordered a take away before and thought I’m not eating this, I’d take it as just me but my partner and guests agreed. Just order elsewhere as honestly the worst mixed grill we’ve ever tasted and it looked almost as bad.

Food was okay enjoyed Naan breads delivery driver was friendly and polite and managed to locate my address which most parcel couriers can't.

After ordering from here for the first time, it arrived 15mins late and the hole order was cold to the point we had to microwave it all!!! Each tray was only half filled and about 4/5 pieces of meat! The complementary poppadoms were old and tasted of old fat! Maybe that's why they were free! WILL NOT BE ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN AND HAVE REQUEST A FULL REFUND! very disappointing!!!

Awesome Veg grill, fish curry is the best I have had by far. Lovely atmosphere, staff are friendly, definitely will be eating here again.

Not someone who would normally complain but completely terrible service today, food was cold on arrival 20 mins after the maximum delivery time, part of the order was then missing which took another hour to receive , will not be using again

The food was soooo oil, it just made the whole experience horrible. We have after taste of the grease and are not happy at all. First time we ordered from this please. Won’t be able to order again if it’s to this standard.

Shocking service over an hour late called restaurant several times only to be told it’s on its way. Clearly it travelled so long it was cold and the quality was very poor I would not recommend ordering from here. Waste of money in my view.

First time ordering from Sitaar and what a fantastic experience. The samosas were excellent as was the Biryani (with a lovely smooth sauce to accompany. Many places give you a vegetable curry itself to go on so this was a really pleasant change) and the Egg Curry - both huge portions -a little spicy and maybe a tad too much sauce with the egg curry. Not many places do that particular curry so was pleased to see it in the menu. Would definitely recommend this place and will definitely try again.

Didn't enjoy the vindaloo seemed to salty for me.

The best indian takeaway I've had in a very long time. Placed an ordered for a chicken Balti, fish pokerah and naan. All the food was delicious, Fresh and very hot. Chicken Balti was authentic. Just what I was looking for. A nice enjoyable family meal. Definitely recommend this place. Compliments to the Chef. This will now be my regular when ordering an indian takeaway. Thank you.
