The food is decent but by the time you get it you are starving. Restaurant almost empty but queue of five people took 15 mins to place orders. Then further wait for food. Ridiculous

Grubby. We only stopped for a drink & had heard good things about this place. It has a good reputation for good food & cake. But the trip was spoiled by it being grubby. Cutlery was tarnished & obviously had been “rinsed & reused” not seeing a whiff of a dishwasher. Teapot was stained inside & out (probably rinsed & reused also). Decaf Cappuccino was ok. Tea did not taste at all of anything - most disappointed!

I passed this place when I was hiking the night before. So I stealth camped nearby and went in for breakfast, deciding to make the most of it. Just what I needed. I had a Full English with an extra egg and added black pudding. Eggs done perfectly; a top quality big spicy sausage; decent rasher; a hash brown; half a tomato; mushrooms; 2 whole slices of brown bread; and baked beans. All excellent, but a bit stingy on the beans. £8.00. For pudding (yes, I sometimes have a pudding with breakfast--"eat while you can," as they said in the army) I had a chunk of soft, fluffy chocolate fudge cake with gallons of cream, plus a lovely pot of tea that yielded 1½ cups. Very impressed by this cafe, especially with it being stuck in the middle of nowhere at the back of a garden centre. Furniture and decor were plush and spotless. The serious, dark-haired young man serving was excellent as well.

Small cafe set within the Garden Centre offering a menu of basic cafe food. No frills decor in a space accommodating approx a dozen tables. Service friendly and meals were fine at sensible prices. Ok for a quick bite.

Our cycling group has been using this cafe for some years. We always get a friendly welcome. We mainly have cakes or tea cakes along with tea or coffee these can be recommended. On a few occasions I’ve had some of their hot food, which has been very good. Their prices are very reasonable. I would heartily recomend Sisters Cafe if your passing or in the garden centre they are based within.

There are not too many places you can enjoy a delicious salad lunch, sitting next to open meadow, however The Sisters Cafe is one of those places. We stopped there for lunch and both chose the summer salad. The ham is home cooked and delicious served in generous portions. Boiled new potatoes and fresh rolls add to a filling lunch. Prices are reasonable and the staff very friendly. Will return soon.

Good selection of food and reasonably priced staff very friendly and efficient shame about the car park which I would assume is the responsibility of the garden centre, if it's dry your car gets covered in dust off your shoes, if wet your car gets covered in mud off your shoes

Probado como un buen té regalo. Todo bien, pero nada especial. La habitación estaba fría y olor de jardín me quitó. También parecía que tenían poca o ninguna formación en servicio al cliente ya que estaban teniendo una linda charla que no quería aquí. No vamos a volver.

If you love home cooked food, large slices of home made cake accompanied by a friendly smile and some banter then you are in the right place. The food is lovely and fresh with a good selection. My little bolthole when I want to relax over a slice of cake and a cofee!

The Sister's Cafe is a nice place to stop for a refreshing cup of tea or coffee - with a cake or even a complete cooked meal. Good varied menu cooked to your own requirements with outside seating for those sunnier days! Attached to the Garden Centre at Newton Reigis.

We have been going to the sisters cafe most sundays for the last 18months or so,the sunday lunch is very good value and very tasty, the meat used is very good quality with normally two choices. The service is very good and all the staff are pleasant and always have time to have a quick chat with you jan the owner is lovely and it shows in her staff.Besides sunday lunch there are various other dishes to choose from most are homemade and all of the puddings and cakes are made by hand, the treacle sponge is to die for and are incredibly cheap,we love going to this cafe for quality, quantity and exceptional value for money meals, its a five star from us.

Two sisters, Jan and Georgie took this cafe over in September 2012 and have improved it no end. They are working on the decor and it is coming together. Their food is simply superb - all home cooked. The service is second to none, and the place has a great atmosphere. They make everyone feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble for them. The menu is extensive and ranges from sandwiches, toasties, jackets, to all-day breakfast type meals as well as cakes and puddings. They do a lovely Sunday roast with fresh vegetables, a homemade soup and a choice of puddings. Their prices are very reasonable too. Jan and Georgie have run a neighbouring restaurant for a good many years but had to give it up when the premises were sold. They took over this restaurant situated in The Garden Centre at Newton Regis and have brought with them the knowledge of what customers want and the ability to satisfy them - service with a smile says it all and I cannot praise it highly enough.

Popped in and had a lovely steak bake, bit of a queue for some reason, somebody was collecting a big order to deliver for someone, I think that was the reason for the queue, staff seemed rushed off their feet.
