Bought a pizza, I could literally count sweet corns and other toppings. The pizza was overcooked. Never going to buy again from this outlet.

Pedí un panini con café. El panini estaba mal empaquetado y se cayó de la bolsa, que no era lo suficientemente grande para ello. Al agacharme para recogerla, derramé la mitad de mi “leche en el costado”. Como la cola era muy larga no me molesté en volver y quejarme, solo me comí el sándwich, esperando que no hubiera adquirido ningún microbio desagradable del suelo. Cuando me fui ya estaba más tranquilo, así que hablé con un miembro del personal, creo que se llamaba Debbie. Manejó las cosas magníficamente, como un diplomático experimentado – se disculpó encantadoramente, dijo que transmitiría los detalles de mi queja para asegurarse de que este tipo de cosas no volvieran a suceder, y me dio un café gratis y un bollo de canela – aunque no había pedido nada. Food here is horrid. Ordered the fish and chips along with the king of protein (shrimp noodle bowl). There isn't a hint of salt or flavor in the food. At least the fries were okay. Don't get the loaded fries, just a sad slop. They also charge for foundation drinks refill. Wild. Don't eat here unless you're really desperate.

We come here fairly regularly, think it's pretty good, certainly better than a few of these reviews say. Coffee is better and far cheaper than Starbucks opposite, food is generous, baklava is one of the best I've had outside the middle east and equal to any I've had in Edinburgh. Yes the service isn't always the friendliest, but we're there for the food/convenience/coffee & baklava all of which are excellent.

Of all the subways in Edinburgh, this one is the best. The bread was fresh, the ingredients tasted good but best of all, the sub was made with care! The young man who helped me this evening was fantastic. Asked all the right questions, checked before doing anything and took his time making the subs. Granted, it wasn't busy, but still. Unlike all my previous numerous experiences where the work is terribly sloppy! Very positive experience.
