Decent pub fast service even though the guy was working alone and there was 20 of us.

Sat in the beer garden with a nice cold beer. Quiet but very relaxing. Large screen TV in the garden. Plenty of seating and tables. Surrounded by numerous trees and shade if you need it. Well worth a visit.

First time here in a long time, walked in and was welcomed by the landlord lile we were regulars. Fab atmosphere, great music and a really great laugh with the regulars and landlord. Definitely recommend

Don't do food here anymore as far as I know too but lovely pubs lively on weekends needs more people visiting on weekdays even justfora couple .gaffers nice chap and the staff everyone bubbly and friendly 👍

Went in for a quick pint with a couple of friends on Saturday. Loads of tvs 📺 with the football on. Good pub, will visit again. 👍

Was abit awkward as many were clearly drunk and rude

I just moved to Bloxwich and attended this pub for the 1st game at the weekend. I'm not a drinker....or pub person but the atmosphere in this pub was electric. I walked in and there was a DJ playing an R&B song......well, I started dancing. This in turn triggered another 2 people dancing and we were smiling at each other. The bar staff smiling and bodding there head to the music. Great vibes. The pub feels squashed as the bar is close to the door but plenty of space around the other side. I will defo be going again.

It’s was terrible I had a burger so did my boyfriend and my friend did as well and we all rated it a 1 you will see my boyfriends and friends review we sat near the window around the back the tables were very sticky,it was dirty I think they didn’t wipe it before we come in and when I mean it was dirty there was ketchup,salt,vinegar and a chewed up burger piece Will not be going again

Decent pub beer is very drinkable nice crowd in pub

Horrible staff. The barmaid was very stern with me and my grandchildren.

Rough place, no communication between bar staff, drugs, fighting, not a pleasant place if you just want a drink

Friendly staff recently refurbished beer prices very reasonable also 🐶 friendly will definitely visit again soon.

Strangly got accosted in here by a pensioner because I wasn't paying attention to her 'performance' after singing several karaoke songs in a row because I was browsing my phone.

Disappointing.. Food tasted only of charr, that was both the starter and main, which ultimately overpowered any other flavour, so it was like eating burnt bbq food. There were no table napkins, therefore eating messy wings was awkward. We still felt really hungry after eating starters and mains, mains just looked plain.. steak, chips, small flat mushroom and half charred tomato wasn't tasty and lacked colour on plate, maybe peas or salad may have helped, something to take away the blandness, regrettably we couldn't wait to leave, so skipped dessert. Unfortunately won't be going back, used to go many years ago here and food was always good, so just disappointed with the overall experience there.

Lunch family visit chose 2 meals off £5.95 for two courses 1 burger meal I kids meal . 2 courses for £5.95 I had gammon a preformed 4 oz piece of gammon bits tasted microwaved and tough with oven chips descent fried egg and pineapple 😩not good 2nd meal scampi about 8 pieces and oven chips ok both had apple pie and custard obviously sloppy microwaved . Carpet chicken burger on a bap not good kids chicken nugget meal as expected , will not venture here again , nice bar maid and waitress .

Thoroughly enjoyed this with grandchildren. Very authentic Santa. Event was over subscribed(victims of own success) staff very helpful Wouldn’t hesitate to go again. Managers are doing a great job to turn the pub around.

Totally disagree with the prices of a dash of pop (lemonade) in a drink when you are having less beer they add 70 pence on top of the lager price discussing when the average price in the local pubs around the area is between £1.45 to £1.65 they think it's OK to charge over £2.30 for half a pint of lager dash discussing no wonder it's not a regular pub for family's

Just been in and had a delicious beef dinner with cabbage aswell. Friendly staff too. May have a dessert too next time.

If u wanna be ignored at the bar for 10 minutes or so to then pay over 3.00 for a pint of laxative this is place to go put ya toilet roll in the fridge b4 u go out

I keep trying these pubs but come out every time thinking never again. I love the salad bars but i find the food bland. Sorry guys

Came here for food,wouldnt eat here again tho.cold meals.cheese missing off chips.we ended up having some money back.

I Have used this pub for about 10 years and when the one landlord left when I 1st was using it, it went downhill. Then the powers of be Renovated it, I brought my relatives in when they visited us from the Wirral. We have always been made welcome and have had a great time. Today we decided to have food, O’ boy the first and last time that will happen! The menu looks basic, but appealing, that’s where it stops.It doesn’t matter that some of the food was not available, the beef and ale pie I ordered was bad at first, cold chips, cold gravy, it should not happen but it does! I politely complained and in all fairness they took it back no problem. They brought me the replacement or the reheated plate and the replacement was un edible, the pie top was great the pie itself was cold, the meat was like shoe leather and the rest was disgusting. When eventually they collected the plates we again politely said how bad the meals was. The comment back was “ I will tell the Chef” I did not ask or want any money back, but what a poor response.I want comment on the the other 3 dishes, because I have said enough.No problem having a drink here, but DON’T eat the food.The photos show what was left.You all know by now I will only review my experience.By the way I have to give it one star and that’s to much!!!!

Great place, loved the food and the staff are good too. Always seem to run out of ice and lemons for gin and tonics etc but really good

Thank you so much for a lovely afternoon wake. Food was lovely and well presented for the buffet and the girls behind the bar went above and beyond for our younger guests who came after school even allowing them ice cream. We look forward to visiting you lovely lot again under better circumstances

Visited this pub/restaurant for the first time recently with two relatives. well decorated and clean. Limited range of cask beers but otherwise a wide range of drinks available. The food was well presented, hot and tasty. The 8oz steaks ordered by myself and one other were cooked as instructed as medium rare-which is a change from many restaurants- they even had little wooden tags inserted into the steak with the cooking instruction "medium/rare" inserted, a novelty! Our other companion ordered sausage and mash which included an enormous Cumberland type sausage.

I visited this pub a couple of days ago and it had changed dramatically since I went in there 40 years ago.
