Cute cafe located in the Northern Quarter. They have a small counter of handmade, seasonal doughnuts with eclectic flavours - don’t expect maple or chocolate sprinkles - which make it even better. They even have some vegan flavours on deck. I had the raspberry vegan doughnut which was heavenly! So soft, and the raspberry flavour was delectable. A definite must visit in Manchester.

I couldn’t resist a quick visit to see if there were any festive offerings, and the Christmas Pudding Donut- with cinnamon custard inside- did not disappoint!

Really delicious custard donut (probably my favourite type) and decent coffee too. I just wish the price of the the donut was a tad cheaper- the quality was very good but it would be hard to justify spending that much, frequently.

Unmissable for any doughnut-lovers in Manchester. I popped in around Eastertime and chose a hot cross bun-inspired creation. There’s a bit of indoor and outdoor seating if you want to chill for a bit!

I came across this place when I Googled ‘Best doughnuts in Manchester’ so I had to check it out. Very quaint and quirky inside. The doughnuts were huge and they all sounded amazing. We chose Blood Orange and Black Seasame and Party Ring. They were both exceptional. They were super fluffy and the dough was so soft and had so much flavour. The glaze was amazing! We both had cappuccinos too which were also excellent. Small and strong, reminded me of coffee in Italy (the best). Highly recommend the coffee and doughnuts here and I’ll definitely be back when I’m next in Manchester. They are quite expensive, £3.75-£4.50 per doughnut, but they are totally worth it. You are paying for a quality artisan doughnut in a really lovely setting.

The old mill on Redhill street is beautifully refurbished and Ancoats Coffee Co held such promise with glass doors , indoor and outdoor dining space, twinkling fairy lights I chose outside in the lovely Mancunian sunshine to enjoy my cake and fresh orange drink, unfortunately this is where things start to go down hill, firstly cash is not accepted in this establishment, plastic is king, my cake looked like an appealing Madeira on its plate, I think it would have given the lovely refurbished bricks a run for their money, hard is too soft a word but not as hard as the seating, I think I am well padded in the posterior but These chairs WOW they were made of a galvanised material so to be expected but couldn’t you have invested in something soft to sit on ! One visit is enough for me. Not a

I’ve had a breakfast and evening meal here within the last month and I couldn’t speak highly enough of the food, service, vibe, value for money and overall experience. I had an amazing banni blue cheese burger most recently, which was absolutely fantastic, the blue cheese was complimented perfectly by a sweet onion chutney! My partner, and friends, all had a roast which also went down a treat! Strongly recommend a visit if you get the chance!

Nice relaxed space. Great cuts of steak, fresh and flavourful sauces, crisp hot fries, nice wine and cocktails. Brilliant gluten free options. And all very reasonably priced - steak, chips, sauce, and a glass of wine gave me change from £20! Well worth a casual lunch trip.
