Simos in Darlington

Donner meat and pizza ordered, donner meat was awful couldn't even eat it was so over cooked, been coming to simmos for takaway for the past 10 years up until the past few weeks where we avoided then thought we would gove it another try to my shame! The past few months the food has been hit and miss, prices going up food quality going down. Tipped me over the edge tonight when my partner got home and opened it up couldn't even eat it, you could litteraly crack each peice in half. Won't be returning lesson learned. Pizza was standard, salad had minimal amount in.. worth going somewhere else for better quality, quantity and value all around!

Horrible food. They are clearly cost cutting by a way of using the oil as long as they can which you see by the colour of the chips, salad looks old like been out for days or turned fridges down and the garlic dip is half full and watery! The Parmo burger had what I believe is sliced cheese.l so not even real cheese So perhaps they just need to increase the prices, not make their food crap. Two customers (households) lost. Absolutely rank food by the looks of all the other reviews? This place doesn’t listen to feedback

Took 90 mins to deliver the wrong order…and then another 20 mins to redeliver the correct sources. When I called after an hour they said they were still cooking the pizza

Used this takeaway for some time, but last 2 times have been not so good. Portion small and pizza dough undercooked. Time to find a new takeaway!

Normally love this pizza shop! But very rude on the phone sent the wrong order and wouldn’t replace!! Not a way to treat regular customers! Or customers at all in fact ! Idiots!

Well I have used simos for many years and I can say I have never really had any problems the food has always been great , fast delivery and great staff. They have a great choice of food and always there to help if u want extras or so take things out .. we do pick up and delivery and both have been on time and ready. I would defo recommend simos ..

Soggy chips placed under the kebab meat and the whole thing cold on delivery. I'm sure they used to be better?

After ordering for delivery kids pizza was soaking wet couldn’t eat it the garlic was watered down and the chips was cold upon complaining the arrogant owner put phone down on me to say no one else has complained the cheek of him will Not be ordering from these again !!!!

I've tried all the pizza takeaways in Darlington, and can honestly state that these are the best pizzas I've had from a local independent take-away. The bases are fluffy, light and crisp. Cheese is delicious. Fantastic toppings too. I love the Grill Daddy and the Meat and Meat pizza with garlic butter. Tomato and BBQ bases are both tasty. Garlic bread with cheese is really nice too. Kebabs and wra[ps are pretty tasty too. Well done guys! My only request would be for you to change the oil in the fryers more often. It always smells rancid whenever I visit - and is obviously not changed regularly enough.

Ordered chicken wings were not nice! Had to speak to them over the phone and wasn't very happy with customer service! Totally didn't explain properly! Sent chicken nuggets in place for kids meals and the nuggets were rubbish!!! Won't be ordering again!

Phoned up for my order got told 45 minutes which would be fine. Over an hour later phoned up again only to be told it would be another 10-15 minutes! Absolutely shocking!

Phoned and placed my order at 7:20pm its now 9:30pm absolutely disgusting delivery times when your told it'll be 45 minutes!

Appauling , orderd at 7.45pm and food came at 9.40. Could understand if a big order but was 2 parmos , try ringing and they egnore the phone ! Parmo was rushed , would of egnored the door if hadnt already paid by card .

After a bad experience the last time thought I would give them benefit of the doubt and try again. Food again took almost 2 hours with no explanation or thanks

Arrived home at 10.15 from friends to a missed call saying had already tried to deliver I got shot down in flames by a angry assistant who said you can't rely on times by just eat. The food got resent obviously microwaved and re fried same chips and man at door said Now you MUST pay. Never again

Never received my order after waiting 2 and a half hours I was told the order left the shop 50 mins later still waiting considering I live 20 mins waking distance they must of been trawling in their hands and knees to deliver it

usualy order online. most of the time comes on time. orders are always right.been in and orderd at counter a few time, the kitchen is clean and they are always doing a good trade with is a good sign for a takeaway.

Absolutely shocking service which was a shame since the food was actually quite nice. Rang 20 minutes after my order was supposed to be delivered, to be told they hadn't received it, despite me telling them I had confirmation from Just Eat that they had accepted it. He refused to acknowledge this and just told me to ring Just Eat, which I did and thankfully they confirmed what I had told them and got on to the takeaway to sort it out. Won't be using again simply due to the service.

Food was nice u should tell your driver to clean up abut while handling food tho what a scuff

Ordered a delivery at 11, was due to arrive at 11:50 , did not receive order rang at 11:55 to be ignored and cut off . Disgusted such poor service.

Food came was nice and hot and in reasonable time considering it's Saturday evening however the past 3-4 times ive ordered my bottle of coke has been missing now normally the guy with the van just pops back round and gets it for us as its around the corner but this time was a different driver and quite rudely told me to phone the shop what's the point of ordering a take away to have to go pick up something that was forgotten ! As I say food was good just a shame this happened for the 3rd or 4th time .

Ordered a Parmo and a margarita pizza. Parmo was amazing but the pizza was revolting. I ate half a slice and left the rest in the fridge for my sister to binge eat when she comes in from her night out tonight so I don't have to deal with it.

Overcooked pizza. Cold chips, cold to the extent the cheese hadn't melted on them. Arrived an hour and a half after placing order. Rang to chase arrived 10 mins after, Driver might aswell of threw it at my feet when I answered the door.

No garlic again everytime we order whuch is very often theres garlic sauce short ripped of again not happy

Last two from here have been shocking first order meal deal hardly no kebab and chips where hard and burnt And and then 2nd was over and hour and half and it was cold and again chips where the same....So Unfortunately I've been a long term customer but we have come to an end of an era we shall part and go our different ways I wish you well ..

You can't beat the price of the meal deals this feed us all (family of 4) with plenty left over it also came early as we ordered mid week weekends are very busy so order early and expect a little wait but prices and food is worth it

Trying to impress to much. Food was good but needed more cooking time on this occasion.

Food took nearly two hours to arrive. Warm salad, very greasy mushrooms, and a cheeseburger even my dog rejected after I did. On the up side I got two slices of cake rather than just one but I guess they'd added squirty cream. By the time it arrived - fifty minutes after the original estimate - the cream had turned into a warm soggy mess. I hope it was cream. Oh, and the bun for my burger was stale.
